Came here for a quick rapid test as it was imperative that I had one by a certain date. I had to get on the waitlist and wait majority of the day but was not required to come in until they texted me 20 minutes before I was expected to be there, which was very convenient. I had missed my window but the lady was very understanding and still was able to squeeze me in and accommodate my needs. Worst urgent care experience I have ever had. WALK INS ARE DEFINITIVELY NOT WELCOME. You will get the run around and sit waiting while 4-5 people who had appts but an hour after you got there will be let thru before you. I arrived at 1 pm and was told there was an hour wait and I could make the first available appt for 6 if I wanted to come back. Decided to wait.. 1 1/2 later still nothing..3 people who had an appt but was scheduled 45 mins-1 hr after I got there still went before me. Then after I asked the receptionist why I got skipped over by a walk in that went straight back I was told it was an emergency.. even tho we are at and urgent care and not an ER.. bc if you are in a life threatening emergency this is the last place you should go for care! To top it off after waiting almost 2 hours I was told they were only serving appts from then on and so basically if ANY appt walked in after me they would go before me. So make an appt bc walk ins are definitely not welcome and if you need care you definitely will not get it here. read more

My question to them was if my sample was sent to Outsource to make sure that it matches the treatment for me and the medication that I was prescribed. Tried calling management and they give me the run around. This place is somewhere to AVOID!

The quality of care here has drastically declined, and the lack of follow-through made an already distressing situation even worse. My husband presented with clear clinical signs of dehydration, which I explicitly communicated multiple times, including that he had failed oral hydration. These concerns were repeatedly dismissed, despite dehydration being something urgent care should be able to manage. I work in the medical field and was trying to prevent an unnecessary ER visit and hospital bill. Instead, due to the lack of appropriate assessment and intervention, his condition worsened and we were forced to go to the ER anyway. To make matters worse, I formally expressed my concerns after the visit and was told a provider would be calling me back. Two days later, no call, no follow-up, no accountability. At that point, all that had been accomplished was delaying care and racking up an ER visit that could have potentially been avoided. This experience was not only frustrating--it was unsafe. Patients deserve to be heard, taken seriously, and followed up with when concerns are escalated. I have completely lost confidence in the care provided here and will absolutely be seeking care elsewhere. read more

That somehow cancelled our appointment and put my husband on the walk-in list. Not the appointment list. Walk-ins were getting called back before us. Finally after 1.5hours of waiting we said we're gonna leave. He's hurting and uncomfortable and we just want a refund and to go home. Well find another urgent care. Then Janice at the front desk informs us what happened to his appointment. That he was bumped to the bottom of walk-in list because of their system. I'm done. 0/5 stars. Next time I need urgent care, I'll take the extra time to drive to Texas Children's Urgent Care. My gut told me I made the wrong decision, but it was truly an urgent care issue and I just wanted to get my baby treated as quickly as possible. The medical staff is wonderful (they really were great! attentive, kind, caring and great bedside manner), but the administrative side is horrible. Check-in is so impersonal, and the front desk had zero personality or care and was almost rude. Then I had to wait for a text that went to spam to complete the check in. What a waste of time when we truly had an urgent issue (hence the need for Urgent care!). We were told to follow-up with a specialist and even given 3 referrals, but when I called back to let them know I need preauthorization for a specialist visit, they said they don't do that and that we would need to see our primary care doctor for the preauthorization. Excuse me? You told us to go to a specialist and you provided referrals! This is a time sensitive issue and you want me to waste time and money to see another provider just so we can see who we really need to see? Please make that make sense. Bottom line, if you have another option that is affiliated with your normal network of doctors, go that route. While we were able to get our issue handled quickly, in the end, it is proving to be more costly and burdensome than it was worth. read more

wow...I was pleasantly surprised how fast my visit was. I was checked in with 10 minutes, a short wait in the wait room and then to the exam room. Nurse Rachel is professional, pleasant and thorough. Tonight 01/30/22 @ around 8:00pm and the Lady in the front was an absolute a---- She treated me like I was stupid - looked at me with disgust. I have never felt so disrespected. She kept telling me she was trying to help me while looking at me with a horrible attitude. Her name is Trina and I can honestly tell you she is AWFUl!!! The bar is pretty low for urgent care service. This team was fun to deal with and they took my insurance. However, in the world of covid, I think it's unacceptable that patients were waiting together in one room rather than in our respective vehicles. Also, the front desk was almost out of hand sanitizer with none to be found in the examination room. I was able to get a rapid test done here with an appointment so it was convenient and worth the risk. I had no symptoms so this continues to be one of the few places in Houston to get a test done without symptoms and a referral at a reasonable price. Nowadays it's hard to be at exactly the right place at the right time- but today, I did IT! I had fallen and was experiencing excruciating pain in my left hip. We are new here so I had no idea where Or what to expect except for reviews. When I walked into Next Level Urgent Care - Copperfield, I was enveloped with empathy, compassion, gentleness and total concern for my medical situation - I was taken to my treatment room almost immediately - and I received the highest medical care I've ever received by the best of their medical staff. I am so sorry I do not remember everyone's names - but the receptionist, my medical assistant, and the nurse practitioner were highly trained and met my physical and emotional needs- because of my pain, were taken care of; if you ever question where to go - for care and treatment - go to this urgent care in Copperfield - it's worth the extra time to get to because they care and they know what they are doing! Is at this location and she is beyond phenomenal; she took care of my allergies and clogged ears ever so efficiently and in a most timely fashion and is ever so kind and observant of your issues, and most patient. she prescribed all the medications and removed earwax build up very fast; and gave me a maintenance schedule on how to keep my ears clear; ; this is the second time I have been here and I highly recommend this location and all of the employees that work here and especially Stacy CookP.A. If you are coming to get a Covid-19 test GO SOMEWHERE ELSE the staff is is understaff and you will be here all day even if you have an appointment. Plus you have to have insurance to get a test and still have to pay money out of pocket it is not a rapid test you will get your results in 3-5 days just like all the other free test . If you are going to have people pay for the test you should be more efficient when it comes to the test it should be the same day results will not be coming here in the future and recommend that nobody else does either. I've been to this facility several times and it's always fantastic in every way. The wait has never been more than a few minutes regardless of time of day. The staff is super friendly and responsive; they actually seem to care about how you feel, and you receive a follow-up call a couple of days after your visit to see how you're doing. First time patient here. I called and the message advised me to download their app and place myself in line. I was fourth in line. When I became second my wife drove me in. Pros: not a huge wait. Secretary was very professional took my ID and medical card. Nurse took me in also very professional. Doc came in and she as well very professional. Staffing was very helpful and patient. Cons: No trash in lobby so if you have a drink, trash, old tissue, etc. Also when I went to my room it was a little to hot. I would definitely return and recommend. Job well done. read more

The service that was given to me at this Urgent Care clinic was exceptional. Never have I received such service from a doctor's office before. I can't tell you enough how impressed I am. Immediately entering the clinic, I was greeted by their front desk receptionist. I was asked if it was my first time visiting here, and to provide them with an ID and insurance card. *MOST Major Insurances are accepted. As I dropped off my ID and insurance card, I was immediately helped by Shawn, the RN, and escorted into a patient room. Shawn left me with an iPad and asked me to fill out the rest of my patient information. The entire system that Next Level has developed on iPad is amazing. It's painless and fast, I wish all doctors would switch to this type of check-in system. After checking in, Shawn checked my vitals, and I was later seen by Dr. Ivan Ranada. Dr. Ranada was great! Such a nice guy. Very friendly. He was very straight forward, checked me out, and gave me my diagnosis. I was given 3 different types of prescription medications just in case if the first he recommended did not work well for me. I really appreciated that because no one wants to come back to the doctors office, no matter how friendly the people are. Hehe! I had a horrible experience at Cypress Fairbanks Urgent Care on West Rd & Barker Cypress Rd. -- I do not recommend them at all. If you're looking for urgent care, quick medical assistance, Next Level is the place to come to. Ridiculous, only went there because it was the closest with Uber. And I was in pain. I should have walked out as soon as I went in but I had Ubered and Walgreens next door so thought why not. It looks out dated, and they charge you $250 if you say you were in an automobile accident, but level 1 which I was should have been less. They won't give you a bill at that time and when you pick up they put that they credit me but it was never credited to my account; so kind of shady; someone is making extra money on the side. So going back to them bringing me to a room, doesn't smell clean like a medical facility, there was peanuts on the floor so obviously they don't sweep or mop. I wanted to leave but needed something for the pain. "Doctor or PA walks in looks at my injury and my belly has red marks from the seat belt. She says it might be internal bleeding and should go to ER if I have pain. Hummm, then they take 1 or 2 X-rays; of my right shoulder & the PA/Doctor doesn't wait for my X-rays to come out and sent me out to go get RX. She said I'll call you tonight or tomorrow once X-rays come out. Till this day she has not called me or emailed. Nada! So next day I went to a totally different place on memorial ; didn't want to risk another facility like Next Level. I had to go the following day to get an itemized bill so my insurance could re-imbuirse me; and no one at the front desk. The elderly women was waiting and so I asked : is anyone here; so the front desk lady comes up and the elderly women needed assistance in Spanish and the front desk person was rude and said no, though I felt like she did . I could have but I just wanted to get the hell out of there. I even told the elderly women to go find another place but maybe she was in the same predicament I was in my first visit. No other choice , oh and I forgot to add while I was waiting for the doctor/PA the staff was laughing it up talking loudly about some person stuff ; while I'm over here waiting in pain. Very in professional. So with that said, there are plenty other urgent care locations; just don't go to any Next Level ones. Run away. I don't even think any "real" doctors or nurses work there. The good things about the place is that it's convenient, they have get in line via their app and overall for minor things they seem to be good enough to handle things in b/w a PCP and ER visit. However I will say there has been an increasingly number of times where I have left and ended up worse than I started. It mostly involves not the best choice of prescribed medicine, wrong guesses on a diagnosis, or shortcuts like I experienced the other day. My example, maybe they should have given me an x-ray to see if I actually had a kidney stone instead of just giving me kidney stone meds which would later involve EMS and take two days to recover from. And gee thanks they prescribed Tylenol for a kidney stone. Last time I had a kidney stone I was in the hospital on morphine but no worries..... they gave me some Tylenol. This isn't the only example I have, trust me there are more. Sadly still, it's not the worst Urgent Care. This mostly serves as a reminder to myself to watch this place the next time I consider going. read more

I went there due to a pretty nasty laceration on the back of my right arm just above the elbow. I called 1st and was told I would receive two calls, one for the pre-paperwork stuff and the next call would for me to come into their facility. When I arrived I was greeted by the receptionist, whom was very nice, and gave her my insurance card and drivers license. This took about three minutes and then I was ushered to a treatment room. After about five minutes I was looked at by an NP, had my wound cleaned and figured out I needed surgery. The NP knew of an ortho and set me up with an appointment the next morning. Went to the ortho the next morning and had surgery that afternoon. I would highly recommend this place for any of your medical needs. Beats the heck out of a hospital emergency room. read more

My two-year-old granddaughter is visiting & developed an ear infection overnight. They're a military family & they have Tricare. I called before leaving the house to make sure insurance would cover it & thankfully, they do. There were several people in front of us, although the waiting room was empty. The clinic was clean & comfortable. We didn't have to wait long & we saw Ivan Ranada, PA. He's the sweetest, most caring medical provider I've ever seen! Evie actually let him examine her & enjoyed the attention given. I'm extremely grateful for the entire staff at Next Level Urgent Care. I truly appreciate the care that was shown to my grandbaby. Though I found myself here at Next Level Urgent Care- Copperfield under less than ideal circumstances, I really had a wonderful experience! Upon putting my contact lenses in this morning, one of them tore and left about half lodged somewhere in my eye. After enduring a church service not knowing where this foreign object was, I checked myself into this facility, and they were able to find the pesky contact lens lodged in my eye. Ana was my technician, and Tamika C. was my provider. We laughed and I [almost] cried, but they helped me make it through the appointment! Dr. Ivan Ramadan and Tech Nadia A. Have been exceptionally excellent with both my kids. My kids took turns to beak their elbow this summer. Both our visits we had Dr. Ivan and was I glad to see him. He is very gentle with kids and understand their level of pain and anxiety . Both Dr. Ivan and Nadia have tons of patience with little one. My son gave Nadia tough time to remove the cast but at no instance was she irritated or impatient, she was awesome. Nadia is awesome with kids POP (cast). She puts them on excellently and removes them with ease as well. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. read more

If I could give 10 stars, I would, mostly beachside of NP Cristina Carillo-Gutierrez!! I came in for a contusion on my lower leg that had gotten infected. Her pleasant, caring demeanor helped me get through the not so pleasant experience of incising and draining my wound. She even sensed when I needed a break and brought me a bottle of water and some crackers to settle my Nerves. Cristina explained everything fully and took the time to answer all my questions about the procedure, cellulitis, and future care. This was the most comfortable experience I have ever had at a medical establishment. I even visited 3 different locations to continue my aftercare with her. I just want to shout out the staff here at this location. We live in the neighborhood where they are located and it is wonderful to have an urgent care 30 seconds away. We have always been treated with kindness and compassion. I wanted to give a special shout to the young woman who was working the front desk tonight (10/25/22), I wish that I had asked for her name. The wait time was quite long and after an hour and a half I was frustrated and was rude and she was kind and compassionate. After a minute of reflecting I got up and apologized to her, my not feeling well doesn't give me the right to be rude. She remained kind and compassionate the whole time. I'm ashamed of myself and impressed with your staff.
