Once again, at 6:30 a.m.- Brian immediately returned my call/text- assessed the situation via texted photo, arrived on site (same day) with the right team, the right equipment and took care of it. As this is the second time I have hired 5 Star Tree Services it is particularly worthy of also noting that Brian is very well experienced, knowledgeable and skilled with his array of equipment in addition to paying very close attention to the cosmetic appearance of any work he does whether it be a removal, trimming or an emergency response. I'd also add that with so many services around, Brian is keenly aware as a business owner, the importance of quality of work and customer satisfaction both of which he is exceptional at-to include being just one heck of a nice guy to boot!!! Larry told us they would replace the tree when they returned to trim some branches in our back yard a couple weeks later. Larry then texted me a couple weeks later to say he would not be coming back to trim the trees in the backyard, but would still replace the tree within the next week. He claims this trim request was after they had taken the tree down, but we have emails that prove otherwise. We were quoted before he even came out to take the tree down. He then blocked my phone number and has still not replaced the tree. All of my iPhone texts turned to green, they were blue in previous conversations, and my calls went right to voicemail when I tried to call the day following him informing he would not be coming back out but would replace the tree and when I called a week later for an update, as well as the week after that. A few weeks ago, I even tried to reach out through their website, with the information on the tree that was mangled, and he still has yet to respond. They also left a 4' branch stuck in our yard, sticking 3" out of the ground from when they fell our tree, and didn't even bother to try and remove it or let me know. Pretty hard to miss. I had to dig it out of the ground myself. I tried to text him pictures, but they went undelivered as he blocked my number. He then tries to dismiss that he blocked my number and claims that he responds to all messages, however I have screenshots of the texts and a call log on my phone that prove otherwise; not to mention the email that went unanswered through his website. They are absolutely unprofessional and an embarrassment of a company.

After speaking with Nicholas (the owner), he gave us a quick and reasonable price. He he explained our options and even told us a tree that we thought needed to come down would probably bounce back after other dead trees around it were removed. He could have easily made some extra money by taking it down but was more concerned with saving a tree. We really appreciated that. The work took a day and a half to finish though they were also working next door so may have actually taken less time. This included removal of 1 tree, major trimming of 2 trees, both that were hanging on our roof, and the removal of a large pile (a real mess) of old wood piled in our yard. They completed the job beyond of satisfaction! The yard was left cleaner than when they started and even trimmed a couple extra branches on other trees without us asking.
