Museum. Double secondary pricing on allocated whiskies. Great selection but I didn't win the lottery today.

Wow, aside from the smell of pee and the heavy mark-up on the liquor, this place is great.

Friday lunch in the office is always a hit when we choose Sonoma Sourdough. We called in our order,…read morewhich I suggest doing as it gets very busy during lunchtime. The restaurant was busy but very neat and tidy inside. Once I went to the pickup counter, I told them my name and very politely they pulled my order and made sure each sandwich was in there. No lunch from here is complete without a fresh cookie. The Reuben had thick slices of corned beef and a nice helping of sauerkraut to add a tangy sour flavor. The rye was soft and absorbed the Russian dressing. The Bullfeather was "perfect" with pepper jack cheese and chipotle sauce added. I'm counting down the days until we order again for lunch.

Today, work brought me to the Sonoma area, and I stumbled upon a hidden gem: Sonoma Sourdough Sandwiches. At first glance, it's easy to overlook--the shop is tucked away in an industrial part of town and doesn't scream "gourmet eats." But let me tell you, this place proves that you don't need a fancy storefront to serve up seriously impressive food. I stopped by right at noon, peak lunch hour, and was pleasantly surprised--no line, quick service, and my order was ready in just a few minutes. I went with the #17, turkey with thick-cut bacon, and it was massive. But the real star? The bread. The freshly baked sourdough was next-level--perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. It took the entire sandwich up several notches. Every ingredient was fresh, the flavors were balanced, and honestly, I'm still full hours later. If you're in Sonoma and craving a legit sandwich, Sonoma Sourdough Sandwiches is absolutely worth the stop

Listen I went here many years ago and had the worst experience BUT fast forward to new management…read moreand I have consistently had amazing sandwiches!! Ok so a couple of months ago I had got sick. When I was finally feeling better I had gone grocery shopping and put the bags in my car and saw the sign for Port of Subs. It was about 6:55pm. My next brilliant idea was to walk rather than to drive across the parking lot. Little did I know the places closes at 7pm On entry there was a woman assisting another woman with her order. They had both looked up when I entered and I had just noticed the closing time and now it was 7:01. The employee, whose name is Amnise (sp), looked like she wanted to turn me away - at first. I explain my situation and how the only thing that sounded remotely appetizing was these dang sandwiches and Amnise says it's fine for me to stay and she will take my order. Amnise was so kind and sweet and accommodating it was refreshing to see and receive amazing customer service. She had every right to turn me away. I'm sure she has a family that is waiting on her to come home from work. That was the most amazing sandwich I'd had in a really really long time. Next time I came in I met Peter who I believe to be her boss and made sure to give credit to Amnise for her amazing customer service.

Service was friendly and helpful, no complaints there. But the food didn't live up to the price. I…read morehad a medium turkey bacon sandwich and a Dr Pepper -- total came to $21.64. The sandwich was just okay: meat and cheese were room temp, and the ingredients were on the sparse side. Nothing special, and not something I'd go back for.
