Roast beef, turkey, ham, and cheese with all the fixings. Could only finish half and will have the other half for dinner.

Just passing through the area, looked for a sandwich spot and found this with some of the highest ratings on yelp. Was skeptical, but as soon as I walked in and was greeted by the owner and staff, I knew that this place was special. The world is upside down right now and everybody seems to be in survival mode and the positive energy from this place, does it's part in keeping me grounded and brings everything back into perspective. Got a huge meat lovers sandwich on a toasted sourdough roll for $12.50 which is crazy. This sandwich would be close to $20 anywhere in the Bay Area. For the food and especially the service I will be coming back any time I am in the area.

Spent $47 here and every dollar felt worth it. The sourdough was next level -- fresh, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with flavor. We all ate and left full and happy. Easily some of the best bread/food I've had in a minute. Top tier spot, definitely coming back."

What a wonderful lunch experience from beginning to end! No wonder they are receiving nearly perfect ratings on Yelp. This place is immaculate, organized and they have the sweetest staff. As soon as we walked through the door, the employees were attentive and incredibly helpful. There is a big menu on the wall but I couldn't read it well (forgot glasses in car) so the employee gave us a hard copy menu. Their sandwich selections are impressive. We decided to try their specials of the day: Chipotle chicken with avocado on sourdough Chicken parmesan on whole wheat roll I noticed that they were also offering a tri tip sandwich today. We'll give that a try next time. There are several tables inside. All were wiped down, chairs pushed in, and the ambiance was very comfortable. There was a constant flow of people either dining in or picking up their orders so this place is hopping! The gentleman who took our order delivered the sandwiches to us when they were ready. Sandwiches are large! They were heated through nicely. I took a bite of my husband's chipotle chicken and it was delicious with a nice little kick. I really loved my chicken parmesan sandwich too. Great combo of flavors and I could easily go on and on about their bread. I chose wheat and my husband had sourdough. Texture and taste were the best! I could only eat half so I wrapped my leftovers using the paper in my basket and sealed it with a toothpick. We waved good bye to everyone and thanked them for a nice lunch and headed to our car. As we were walking, a gentleman called us and brought us a bag for my leftovers! What an incredibly kind gesture. I can't remember the last time an employee went out of their way like that. That's the kindness they exude. Thank you for a very positive first experience. We will definitely be back again very soon.

Best lunch I've had in awhile

You can't ask for a more friendly staff. From the first time to the last they have always been so kind and pleasant. Not to mention they make the best sandwiches on the west side of 101. The bread is always perfect, soft, flavorful and fresh. They use quality meats and have a ton of options. The only thing I'd change is their pickles as they are not my favorite. They have a punch card to earn free sandwiches and local coupons to help with the cost. I rarely get lunch during the work week as it's an extra expense in tough times, but these guys get my business when I do. I always get a roast beef and my buddy always gets the ham and cheese. They are generous size and not over priced. I recommend calling in your order or ordering in person rather than online.

Super sweet nice business. The pic of my tuna on sourdough (they toasted it for me) doesn't do justice to the size and weight. Light crunch on outside, soft on the inside - I like it less 'bready' so I'll ask to have some inside removed before toasting next time. Soup, salads and coffee (not espresso drinks) along with a good selection of cold drinks and chips. It was a nice place to sit and do some work though I don't think they have wi-fi. Well maintained and clean, pricing is good. A little gem in Cotati just off the 101 fwy. I'll try a hot sandwich next time!

The people are friendly, helpful and patient. The food was good. I got 2 build your own turkey sandwiches and they were delicious. Only bummer is the assembly of the sandwich - as you can see, most of the fixins were put on one side of the bread. Otherwise it really was a tasty sandwich. Guess I need to check the whole sandwich before starting to eat :-)

We have now had Northbay sourdough 4 times now. This is my new go to sandwich spot. The service is always nice and fast. They take pride in how they build the subs here and it shows. My favorite is the Poco Loco add Peppers. And they also have this delicious Habenero mayo that I love. My man's new favorite here is the piggy power. He wouldn't stop raving about it. Soo good

Friendly family-owned business. That's super affordable with massive sandwiches that taste great. Will be coming back. Highly recommend

It's the Italiano #13. That's only 1/2. Scarfed the other half.

Really cute unassuming deli but hot damn the sour dough is on point and the sandwich? One of the best I've had in a long time. Prices are fair and you get so much for what you pay for - and a sliced pickle to top it off. Friendly staff but the ordering is a little confusing. You need to step back to the end of the counter and then to the front to pay. Good assortment of drinks. Would come back if I'm in the area for sure!

I mean come on now! Sandwiches can seem like they are all the same. But not these. The bread itself is worth the price. It's usually so fresh it's warm still. The other toppings are super fresh as well. Lots of options to choose from. These sandwiches are so big I can hardly even finish half of it (which my husband loves because he usually get the other half).

The restaurant was busy but very neat and tidy inside. Once I went to the pickup counter, I told them my name and very politely they pulled my order and made sure each sandwich was in there. No lunch from here is complete without a fresh cookie. The Reuben had thick slices of corned beef and a nice helping of sauerkraut to add a tangy sour flavor. The rye was soft and absorbed the Russian dressing. The Bullfeather was "perfect" with pepper jack cheese and chipotle sauce added. I'm counting down the days until we order again for lunch.

Today, work brought me to the Sonoma area, and I stumbled upon a hidden gem: Sonoma Sourdough Sandwiches. At first glance, it's easy to overlook--the shop is tucked away in an industrial part of town and doesn't scream "gourmet eats." But let me tell you, this place proves that you don't need a fancy storefront to serve up seriously impressive food. I stopped by right at noon, peak lunch hour, and was pleasantly surprised--no line, quick service, and my order was ready in just a few minutes. I went with the #17, turkey with thick-cut bacon, and it was massive. But the real star? The bread. The freshly baked sourdough was next-level--perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. It took the entire sandwich up several notches. Every ingredient was fresh, the flavors were balanced, and honestly, I'm still full hours later. If you're in Sonoma and craving a legit sandwich, Sonoma Sourdough Sandwiches is absolutely worth the stop

I don't even know why I thought running in here for a few things after a long business trip would be easier and more peaceful than just going to Safeway. I was just tired and not thinking I guess. I needed lettuce for my bunny, Kambutcha, and decided to grab some hard ciders for me and Bud light for my husband. I get to the register where the cashier is already being rude to an elderly lady who questioned why milk was $9 a gallon. Honesty I was curious myself. The cashier pretty much shoved the receipt at the lady and turned to me. I saw the nice lady bagging asking if she can help the other lady find a different milk like the Raley's one that is on sale. Anyways back to me. She asks for my ID, I can't find it and tell her "sorry, my child keeps dumping my wallet out and I can't find it" she then says "well I can't sell it to you then!" in the rudest most condescending matter of fact way. I say "yeah I know, no problem" and she continues to be rude to me and act as if I did something wrong or was trying to scam her. Like sorry I forgot my ID and that ruined your night. Then after I pay and go to leave she cheerfully asks the young man behind me who was clearly younger than me "date of birth?!" Smiling and said it extra loud so I could hear. I don't know maybe she recognized me from a bad situation I don't remember? Maybe she hates women? Whatever it was, even if you're not an overall nice person try some professionalism while at work or stay home! Plenty of people need jobs these days why do we still have to deal with crappy customer service when you can get someone who wants to work? I know some of you are probably like oh she just mad she didn't get her way but I can guarantee this is not that, this is all about the gross way I was treated as a paying customer. This same situation happened to me at Safeway about a month ago and I gave that person/ store 4 stores bc she was very nice about it and even apologized even though it wasn't her fault I couldn't find my ID. Some people like the cashier at Raley's need to learn how to treat people period.

Ok so a couple of months ago I had got sick. When I was finally feeling better I had gone grocery shopping and put the bags in my car and saw the sign for Port of Subs. It was about 6:55pm. My next brilliant idea was to walk rather than to drive across the parking lot. Little did I know the places closes at 7pm On entry there was a woman assisting another woman with her order. They had both looked up when I entered and I had just noticed the closing time and now it was 7:01. The employee, whose name is Amnise (sp), looked like she wanted to turn me away - at first. I explain my situation and how the only thing that sounded remotely appetizing was these dang sandwiches and Amnise says it's fine for me to stay and she will take my order. Amnise was so kind and sweet and accommodating it was refreshing to see and receive amazing customer service. She had every right to turn me away. I'm sure she has a family that is waiting on her to come home from work. That was the most amazing sandwich I'd had in a really really long time.
