They cleaned my mom's home in Nanuet, NY, a large split-level ranch with an attached apartment, at a very competitive price. We were pleasantly surprised that D & D Prestige Cleaning made sure they cleaned until the job was done and stood by their quote. They cleaned 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms, 6 bedrooms, a large family room, and more. They cleaned all the baseboards, the windows, and the blinds. They vacuumed, broom-swept, and mopped all the floors. They cleaned all the bathroom mirrors and repeated the cleaning until they sparkled. The kitchen cabinets were cleaned with Murphy soap. I was initially thrilled with this service. I found the owner to be incredibly gracious and professional. The team would rotate, but there were some regulars, particularly one woman who was very, very friendly, and they would do an incredible job. I felt very safe having them in my home, so I had given them a key to come and go; however, they lost my key, which was unsettling. Initially, I thought they left it behind on that day, and so the owner asked me a couple of times to leave the door on the latch, which isn't ideal, but it was okay. However, I got two kittens, so I couldn't leave the door on the latch anymore because I needed to know when they were coming, so I could put them in their crate beforehand. At this point, I spoke to Fabrizia, and she explained that one of the girls had lost my key, so that was a little bit uncomfortable for me. This was around Christmas, and even though it was very tight for me financially, I wanted to show them my appreciation, and I gave them a Christmas gift of $100. Very soon after that, I had a last-minute change the day of, so I sent a text early that morning, they were coming midday to ask if they could reach the following day, but they still came and weren't able to get in. As a result, Fabrizia had let me know that she felt our schedules were in conflict and that they would no longer be able to clean my apartment, which felt very harsh. There were plenty of times where I'd been accommodating when Fabrizia had needed to change a day or if they were running late for them to come the following day. She conveyed this in a text message, and although I tried to contact her to speak in person multiple times, I could never reach her, so it felt unpleasant after a year that I'd gone above and beyond to be very kind and generous. read more

The carpets were well cleaned. The previous owners had 4 cats and the smell was completely gone when we came back. So it wasn't all bad but I'll never use them again. The cleaners arrived over an hour late (due mostly to traffic, but I was given absolutely no heads up) and the owner complained that I was being unreasonable because it's NJ. Even though I drove all the way from CT I made it on time so there's no excuse. That is forgivable but after the fact there were so many surfaces overlooked and under cleaned in our "hospital grade" sanitization/cleaning, that my wife had to go back and do the toilets , tight corners in the bathroom and stove it herself. When I voiced my concerns about the lateness the owner was very paranoid and acted as if I was being unreasonable and said she'd never have me as a client again LOL. I still tipped them very well AND paid full price but my experience was not NEARLY worth the amount of money we paid. read more

My mom was moving out of her house in Dumont. I flew in from out of state to help her but I only had a few days to complete her cleaning. I knew I needed help and texted all the cleaning services via yelp. I got a instant response, their phone number, and called in. Fabricia came over to give me a quote in person. Language wasn't an issue which made it a breeze. I gave her a date, she gave me a time, and all I could do was be hopeful that it was going to be thorough and complete...and not get charge more because you know how these jobs turn out. It was a Saturday, 2 guys showed up...ON TIME!!! Not many people show up on time anymore. They too had no language issues. All I did was show them the space and they went straight to work. I didn't see them take breaks or just hanging around, on their phones, fooling around...just business. They spent about an hour, quite lengthy amount of time in the garage where they started. But when they showed me what they cleaned, the two got into spots that were extremely dirty that was a bit out of sight. Then they continued into the basement of the house. The Blair Witch Project of a basement minus the chair in the corner...when they were finished it didn't smell so moldy, it was clean and inviting. Just as I thought it would be a long night of cleaning another crew of people came. I was surprised but worried that I would get charged extra for all these people coming in to help with the job. In total there must have been 7 people working together. It was the most effortless hiring job with a complete cleaning as I expected which I, in reality, didn't expect. I didn't get charged a penny more than what we agreed on, and they were all about gratitude and appreciation. I would definitely recommend Fabricia and her crew.
