I paid $600 for a "professional service" and the cost did not match the service. They did not live up to the proposal and damaged my bedroom floors when moving around the bed. Their quote stated how they bring all their own equipment but they showed up to clean a 1,300 square foot apartment with a little hand vacuum, did not mop any floor, did not clean the toilets or showers, and did not clean inside the refrigerator (which I spent extra for). Pictures attached. They were at my apartment for over five hours and were very unorganized, running out of time. My bedroom floors are now severely scratched and I am the idiot who did not get a COI before allowing them to enter my home. Why they even decided to move the bed around I do not know. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company. However, they eventually responded to all my calls and emails and refunded me the $600. Be careful. read more

Although I specifically requested non-toxic cleaning products (and one reason I chose their company is because on their website they advertise EPA Safer Choice & Green Seal certified cleaning as the cleaning agents they use) the cleaner used Windex all over the apartment - even on wood surfaces and possibly in the refrigerator as well. Additionally, although I was told by the team that the cleaners would speak / understand English well - my cleaner had great difficulty understanding English to the point where I primarily had to rely on Google translate to speak with her. This made it very challenging to give her guidance or answer her questions, which eventually made her visibly frustrated and outright refuse one of my requests. Additionally, she did a thorough job of cleaning the bathroom and kitchen but had to rush cleaning the rest of the apartment, so she didn't have as much time to do a thorough job in other areas and in the process, accidentally broke a small light bulb. I tipped her well for her effort, but the service didn't match the promises of the company. The company eventually reimbursed me for the cost of the cleaning after much pushback explaining myself, but I would not hire them again in the future. read more

I hired Eco Cleaning for a move-out cleaning from my NYC apartment and had a great experience. They were super helpful and quick to respond from start to finish, and their pricing is very competitive. My landlord messed up the dates for painting, so the painters were there when the cleaner arrived, but she was really nice about it and did everything she could. They cleaned my apartment building's laundry room, lobby, carpet, windows, and tile floors. They were here for 6 hours- I believe there were 4 of them. They arrived promptly at the agreed upon time, did an excellent job, and were really friendly. The only critique I'd add is that they could pay a little more attention to detail. I'm really happy I came across this Rug & Carpet cleaning business. The company is professional, and give accurate quotes based on the photos you send. I have a large wool Rug cleaned & (2) small rugs and the cleaner came in got to work right away & was meticulously thorough in cleaning my Rugs. After, he said it would take about 8 - 10 hrs to dry. However, it dried in 6 1/2 hrs. I rubbed my feet over the Rug & it felt refreshed & clean. No heavy chemicals used nor any chemical smell. This was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent on cleaning. I asked for a deep clean and in 6 hours all that was done was 2 bathrooms, the kitchen and the windowsills in one bedroom. Additionally, the bathroom and kitchen were not even deep cleaned. There is still dust around the steam pipe in the bathroom and the rolling cart in the kitchen was never moved to mop underneath. The regular cleaning lady I used to have was able to clean my entire apartment in the same time for a third of the price. Very disappointing. read more

This company way quick to respond, but slow to clean. The cleaner (who looked like a girl barely out of high school holding a spray bottle and a swiffer) arrived over 2 hours late with inadequate supplies. After 3 hours, the apartment still had dust and dirt like it hadn't been swept. Sure, the fridge and stove were wiped down, but nothing we couldn't do ourselves in a quarter of the time considering the apartment was completely empty (this was supposedly a move in cleaning) Waste of an entire day. If I had spent that entire day cleaning it myself, at least it would've been clean Update: the company offered a complimentary 2 hr cleaning to help ameliorate the situation, which we accepted. This was a much better experience. The cleaner was punctual and asked what our areas of concern were. She had proper equipment, and I feel like she did a great job. I just recently moved and was set to buy a new sofa, even though I loved my current one. I had it for years, and it's seen much better days. It was dull and just looked worn down. In the past I've paid to have my rugs and couches professionally cleaned once per year, but having found these guys, I'm upping it to 2x. It's so quick and easy to schedule appointments, great communication on arrival time, and my technician (Ivan!) was fantastic. I requested a deep clean of my kitchen and bathroom. Specified that I wanted a deep clean especially the refrigerator and oven. I received a quote and booked them. The cleaner showed up with a small tote bag of products and asked to use my paper towels, my vacuum, and another tool of mine to complete the job. Why would you send a worker to a job without the tools they need to complete it? The cleaner did a poor job, barely surface level clean and definitely not deep clean. I complained and sent photos and was given the run around for days about a partial refund from the company. I wouldn't hire them for a regular cleaning let alone a deep clean because the products they used did not clean well (left grease and dirt still after use) they did not clean to a normal standard (we hired another company to reclean less than a week later. They did an amazing job) and receiving compensation from the company for a poor job took 6 phone calls numerous texts and finally the threat of legal actions before I got a resolution. Leo and then Alex came to do the job, ruined my nice sofa and area rug and simply disappeared and ignoring me. They are not returning calls and emails. They came in to clean my white sofa and carpet. The sofa had a small coffee stain and the carpet had some spot stains. Result: Sofa is ruined. Carpet is ruined. Sofa has yellow and brown stains from all the chemicals they used, plus rips because they tried to fix their problem multiple times. Area rug hairs are pulled out and where they used their wet vacuum. Their insurance must be fake because they deny to pay and the owner is completely ignoring me. No answer to calls and emails. See pictures and be careful if you don't want to be charged and then ripped off. These guys don't deserve to be in business and should be shut down. read more
