She said, "well, information just gets put in our computer and we call". So basically, farming leads like a telemarketer instead of actually caring about the customer's specific requests (that they be contacted the same way they reached out). While they were not the least expensive, I selected them after reviewing the job with Christo, the owner. He was very knowledgeable and was straight forward regarding the extent of possible issues that may be uncover when the shingles are removed from such an older building (1929). Christo has an extensive portfolio of quality materials to choose from and his suggestions really helped steer me towards the best possible outcome. The work began very shortly after the paperwork was completed and even after finding that the original roof had 3 layers of failed shingles in some areas, had extensive wood rot at the decking, fascia and soffit areas, needed replacement roof ventilation and also required additional work to remove an old school TV antenna... the roof was completed beautifully and ahead of schedule! Communication was on-going and professional throughout the entire job. The clean up was meticulous and complete. Gutters and downspouts were installed a few days later and the house really looks great! Also, the dumpster that was needed to be dropped measured 8X 20 ----a good peice of info to have. The quote I received to do the work was fair--this is a smaller, and, in my experience, honest local company that is not out to gouge you. Once they were able to show up and do the work, they were fast, professional, courteous and efficient. A crew of 3 guys tore my rotten clay tile roof off, and replaced it with asphalt shingle in just 1 day----- on a 25 x 25 ft Greendale original home with a pyramid hip roof, plus a small adjacent, 10 X 8 ft utility room roof, plus a cleaned up the yard fairly decently as well, before leaving that day. (The dumpster remained till the following day though--but it was also removed quickly at jobs end) The company has been professional during every step of the process. The crew cleaned up fairly well, but there were a few things --some tile chips and debris here and there, 2 or 3 roofing nails left in the driveway, some tile and debris on the front porch overhang, and some scrapes on the siding where tile had scraped when it was pushed off the roof--(which were easily removed with mineral spirits) , and a piece of scaffold equipment still up on the roof near the chimney which was possibly left for inspection purposes. I can't complain though --considering the monumental mess with piles of debris this job created. Owner Keith sent a follow-up guy to clean up these things to my satisfaction and the guy made sure I was happy with everything was A-OK before he left. The cleaner that was used to remove the scrape marks worked like a charm--with no marks visible after. The house looks exactly as it did before the job began except now it has a new roof! This company prides itself on doing a good job and getting Angie's List rewards, it means a lot to them. I thought the price for the job was fair. Also, they provide a 10-year warranty on their work, and the shingles themselves have a 50-year warranty on them, in case there are unforeseen issues ahead. They deserve the solid reviews they get. I would hire them again. And may do so for an attic insulation job, which they also specialize in.

He never tried to upsell me and was very honest and polite. A very professional crew tore down my old roof and installed the new one. They were very cautious and careful and left the yard completely clean and free of any nails or roofing material. The straightforward approach sent me a written estimate along with a contract. Unfortunately I have a low pitched roof so during the recent heavy rains, we've had some water seepage probably due to too much water on the roof. I have emailed Rob's roofing about the leaks on several occasions and each time, they come out and take care of the offending leak. They even went as far as to remove an edge vent that was preventing the natural flow of water off my roof which was causing water backups and leaks. They installed regular vents in it's place and that solved the leaking issue. We've had some torrential downpours over the past month or so and the attic has remained dry. So, Rob's roofing does stand by their product. No run-around or excuses. They came right out and fixed whatever needed fixing.

They poly jacked it and couldn't quite get it right but it was at least level. That settled in a few months, they came back and did it again and it settled again so I just ignored it. 5 years later our basement flooded so we decided to try level headed mudjackers. Sam is a true professional and I'm really upset we didn't use them the first time! The poly jacking actually caused the patio to seize up and sam couldn't get them to raise. Instead of just leave it he can out, jackhammered 20' of concrete and repoured new slabs and holy crap does it look great. He did this for a VERY reasonable amount more than the original amount and put a ton more work into it to make it right. I couldn't be happier and so glad I found these guys!! Not many contractors care like Sam did, couldn't recommend these guys enough!
