I had my service on auto pay and they got a new system and lost my card number so they stopped picking up my trash and after a month of my trash barrel being out at the curb, I called them and they told me I could pay to have the service reinstated going forward then they charged me again and said that that payment was for the time that they didn't pick up my trash, they literally charged me to not pick up my trash and then the lady was really rude on the phone. I had this service and one day realized my trash can was gone from my property. They had actually walked up onto my property and left with it and never notified me. I wasn't getting any return calls when I called them and finally got someone to answer and was informed they pulled out of Fountain County. Wow! Nice notice to your customers. Maybe that's why they don't have any customers. read more

The worst customer service ever. Like, next level. The owner is absolutely unhinged. I contacted them to ask why my trash was skipped and if they could come pick it up. The guy went off the rails and accused me of parking my car too close to the cans intentionally so that they would damage it and I could sue them. Insane. LIARS AND THIEVES. The moment your bill comes due, they cut off your service. No warnings of discontinuation: no calls, no letters, no emails. And they'll tell you it's your fault. They don't return calls if you have to leave a message. The secretary who answers the phone is rude, lies, talks over you and is condescending. WM is better than these idiots and WM sucks. read more

Here is what great customer service is about! Called to get service pricing information. Explained the situation with the other garbage service. Haven't been able to get a tote from T& S for over or since November. They broken our garage can with wheels and lid attached. The claw of the truck busted the lid&can itself. With that being said of T&S. Within 30 minutes D&D delivered an tote! Wow! Now that's service! Hope they continue to provide great services. read more

No, it is not glamorous but the folks that work here, work hard and do a great job taking care of the stuff that we don't want any more. A while back the service that was taking care of our waste disposal needs just up and closed their doors. Most people I know migrated to this service and seem to be much happier with the folks at D&D. They are on time, polite, friendly, and professional. On top of all that they are very affordable. If you are using another service and dissatisfied, give these folks a try and you won't be disappointed and they might save you some green. read more

Horrible customer service. My check got lost in the mail, and they stopped picking my trash up for 2 weeks. Didn't notify me directly! I thought the first time they didn't pick up was an accident so I let it slide. The second time they didn't pick up, I called. The woman said they gave a "courtesy call" to my non-working number (we have had this service for 3+ years). I asked why they didn't send a letter or have the guys knock on my door. She kept giving the same answer "We tried to give you a courtesy call." I told her I would pay right then on the phone if she could ask the truck to come back and get our 2 weeks of trash (I called immediately after they skipped my house.) She said "No, they can get it next week." So, by the time they come next week, I'll have 3 week's worth of trash. That's disgusting, and she had no regards at all. We have used D&D for several years and LOVE their service. Very polite, always arrives on same day, no matter the holiday. Even used a dumpster from them. Would NEVER go back to any other trash service. Highly recommend them. Thanks D&D for a business that cares! read more

Signed up 2 weeks ago and pre paid for 1 quarter as they require. I found a less expensive option with more product (which you would have to pay extra for with d&d). I switched to the new company and asked to stop service with D&D. Since I pre paid for 2 remaining full months that have yet to come I figured I would get some money back. The first point of contact I had when calling about it mentioned they have an internal policy that they don't give refunds. Their website draws you in with low prices and an emphases no hidden fees, no surcharges, set pricing, set pick up etc. You don't sign a contract, you're not provided anything in writing etc about terms of service. Had the no refund thing been spelled out via the website where they pride themselves on the aforementioned items or in writing or even verbally, I wouldn't have ask for any refund for service in the future I didn't receive. She had mentioned she would have a manager reach out with a better explanation. I agreed to that and received a phone call a few hours later. Gladys's (sp) called and introduced herself as the manager. She summarized the call from earlier with some notes that were left with her. She reiterated the same things the first lady said and reassured they don't issue refunds. She mentioned that's why we have you pre pay so if you cancel you can run out your first quarter and it's covered. I didn't need that service because I've already made a switch. I then also asked her why the no refund policy which she also said was what they have been told to do in house since they started isn't spelled out as clearly as their website with all the inviting pricing and no fees etc. she said she had nothing to do with the website and someone else designed it. I also mentioned I wasn't given and paperwork via email or snail mail with the no refund policy spelled out, not even over the phone when I signed up. She cut me off and said you know what, instead of sitting here and arguing about it I just cancel your service and refund your money, how's that. Then she hung up and didn't give me a chance to respond. I immediately called back and asked for Gladys and was told she wasn't available. So I asked how the process would go from here since I wasn't informed and was hung up on. They lady I spoke to this time said she was the one that did any refunds and they do them once a quarter. She said it wouldn't get processed until October and I had to ask how it would be sent to me because I paid with a credit card over the phone for setup (that seems scary with what's going on now). The 2 pick ups for trash I had went great. The customer service I've received was trash, how fitting! read more

The lady on the phone was extremely rude. I had kinda always been on the fence about using this company anyway but the cheap price sucked me in. They would leave items in the driveway that they did not pick up and the wind would blow them all over the yard. They would leave my trash cans open when it rained and they would fill up with water. I started the service in 2017 and it was $54.00 now 2 years later it is now $60.00, that does not include the use of their container either. They claim to pick up every day, but if they miss a day for whatever reason, they just expect you to hold onto your trash til the next week? Write little notes on their bills about only being able to have x amount of bags out for pick up. What really gets me is they started to charge $3 to pay your bill online and by phone. I have received a bill recently and said price increase, when another company sent me a flyer for the same price with the use of a container i decided I have had enough. I called new company and got really good customer service and free online bill pay. I called to cancel with D & D and the lady in the phone told me that they haven't had any increases in 2 years which was a lie, I told her I was looking at my bill and it stated a price increase, She yells at me and says "it's .50 a week" and hangs up on me. read more
