Dean Zuehlke was hired to put an addition on our house. He was not qualified to do this even though he presents himself as a home builder. He showed up 5 weeks late to start and the first day of excavation he ripped the water line out of the house and broke our patio. He claimed to be a certified ICF installer, but the foundation ended up crooked, out of square by 3.5", bowed, bulged and out of plumb. He flooded our house multiple times, also. We ended up firing him before he could do more damage. He has stolen $35000 from us and everything he did has to be torn out and redone. There are many better contractors in the area. I have done business with this company several times and have yet to have them to complete the work. I have had Windows installed and cracks were left in my walls from the old window removal. They were supposed to come back and stain the trim but almost a year later they do not answer my calls. I call and send text messages and get no responses. I have seen Dean the owner who assures me "the work will be completed just give me a call" I am very disappointed and will not use this company again. read more

I gave Dean a $1,700 deposit over a year ago, for a job which he has never done, nor plans to do. While he agreed over 10 months ago, that he owes me a refund on my deposit, he has yet to return it, and has not responded to me since. He screwed me over good! I don't see an option for a rating of "Do Not Ever Do Business with this company". Dean is very dishonest. I am extremely disappointed. He lied about the work he performed for me. It was a sloppy mess. I wonder if he would sign his name to this work. Find a contractor who is proud of his work. I would not let him back on my property.
