The technician arrived promptly, and thoroughly checked the indoor and outdoor unit. A new capacitor was needed and he showed me the old capacitor which was rusted and deformed at the bottom due to stress on the system. He gave me information I didn't know about replacing filters more often to provide for a longer life on the new capacitor and demonstrated and shared more knowledge about HVAC systems than any of the HVAC contractors I have employed during my last 26 years at this home. After completing the service, I was advised that the iPad had erroneously given me the "Member" price and my actual cost would be $675. I have been advised that the $550 quote was an extreme price for the service call. I later requested an itemized bill and was told "We don't do that" My initial intent was to use a local company, I learned the plumbing service was provided by a company out of Nashville. I have no issues with the work that was done, I do have concerns about how I was charged for this service call, and their lack of openness on how I was billed.

David took the unit apart, and in removing the drain pan he found a buildup the was keeping the pan from emptying totally. He proceeded to remove the blower which definitely needed service and clean and reassemble the unit. We had to replace our 20+ year old appliances. We ordered the same appliances so that they could…read morefit in the existing cut-outs in our kitchen. We ordered a gas cooktop, wall oven, and a dishwasher. We tried to find an installer who could work with gas. We finally found Jeff at Appliance Service and Installation. After I told him about the appliances, he wanted to come and look everything over. Little did we know how appliances have changed in those years! Wall ovens now require their own built-in wall cabinet and they no longer fit in the existing base cabinet! They are 2" deeper. Jeff told us that he would have to move the existing gas line so that the oven could fit in the same space. Our old dishwasher used to be hard-wired. Now it came with a plug so we had to install a new plug. So, this was going to be quite a job. Jeff is VERY knowledgeable and professional and he explained how he would proceed with the job. He told us how much he charges (he works by the hour) and our job took him nearly 7 hours (he told us it would take this long). It was WORTH it!!!!!! We are confident that the electrical works, everything was done correctly and safely. The new gas line was installed with a new regulator. All the appliances are working correctly and smoothly. What a relief! Jeff is also very respectful of your house. He worked very cleanly! He even swept up after he finished! In the end, I believe you get what you pay for. I would NOT hesitate to have Jeff come and work on any appliance that we have.
