I am a long time Culligan customer and have probably been using them for over ten years. I called…read morelast Monday about purchasing a water softener. In those ten years, I probably called them no more than five times. I waited a few days before I decided to call them back on Wednesday to ask how long it usually takes for the technician to return my call. The lady at Culligan told me the technician was busy and would definitely call back at the end of the month. The way she answered me was not helpful in resolving the issue. So I decided to call two different water softener companies because both had good reviews and one of them immediately transferred me to a technician who gave me a quote on the spot and said it would be installed by the next week. I left a message for the other company and they returned my call that same day. Anyway, today is Friday and I still have not received a call from Culligan. I really don't understand why it takes so long for a technician to call a customer. Apparently, calling them did nothing except ask me to wait for a technician to call back. It's been 4 days. Now I have placed a request on their website and decided to cancel my service and find someone else.

I received the call, called them back and said I would be at my house within 8 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting, I called them back and they told me the tech just finished a job and that they were ~20 min away. After another 25 minutes of waiting, I had to go back to work. Could have all been a better experience if they would have just called me when they were close to my home. Never got an estimate, but was told they overcharge anyways.
