Using their contact form on their website, I sent a request about blade sharpening. I never received a reply. However, since Snappy's is pretty close to my home and the reviews are good, I decided to go there anyway. Snappy's was easy to get to. Upon entering the store, I headed to the counter and a nice gentleman kindly assisted me. He said they do sharpen blades, and it would be about a week for the blade to be done (which is about the standard turnaround time for sharpening). I left the blade there and sure enough, about a week later I received a call that the blade was finished. When I picked up the blade, the blade had been well sharpened and also cleaned up as well as an old blade could be. I paid to the sharpening and was on my way. If it wasn't for the non-existent reply to my initial request submitted from their website, I would have given Snappy's 5 stars. I intend to use them again.

At 11am I called to inquire about installation of a remote car starter that I bought myself and…read morethey said yes, we can do it, in fact bring it in today, so I set up an appointment for 1pm that same day. I dropped the vehicle and remote starter off at 12:55pm and gave them my cell phone number and they told me it would take about an hour and they would call me when its ready. After not hearing from them for 2 hours and since my home was an hour away and I was tired of just hanging out in town, I stopped back by their shop and they said they were just starting on it because they had 2 emergencies come in. What possible emergencies at an auto sound shop, I don't know, but anyhow I waited. Overall it took 3-1/2 hrs to get the 1 hour job done, but they did a good job and were friendly about it. They also charged me $50 over the quoted install price $285 total including labor, bypass module, and wiring harness, plus I bought the remote starter myself so I had a total of almost $400 in this experience, a lot more than their advertised $140 remote car starters - installed on the front of the shop. 3 stars averages out for friendly and good service, vs misleading pricing and putting 2 walk in customers in front of my scheduled appointment. I think thats a pretty fair review.
