I would say zero!!! Second year having our pool open. First year, images of the "paid for" pool cover. We have videos of them taping it together. Images of the sunken pavers because the patio wasn't packed enough around pipes and now we have a leak. They refuse to fix the leak because we had another company open the pool (a company hundreds cheaper too) Who wouldn't reach out to someone else. Do NOT use this company. where do i start? we have had a pool for 40 years and have never experienced a company like d&p. they communicate through every stage of service and were extremely polite and professional. arthur,joe.pat,roger,chuck and tony were very easy and helpful to work with,through all stages. we had a liner replaced and a fair bit of rebuilding done to bring our pool back, all accomplished beautifully. we found their prices extremely fair, all up front with no junk fees. we are not related nor do we know anyone associated with the company. not only do we highly recommend them we highly commend them! Hired then to open the pool. Did the minimum. Left without explaining anything, doors to garage and shed left open, lights on.

If you are thinking about hiring this company I would also looks at reviews for EZ Test Pools they are the same company. I did not have a good experience. They over promised and under delivered. When I tried to address the issues the owner would not speak with me and I was told to communicate through his lawyer. When they closed the pool they installed for me they left the very expensive filters for the pool out in the mud and did not communicate with me about the care or storage of them. D&P Pools installed a fiberglass pool in my backyard. I cannot say enough good things about this company. I started my research on in ground pools 3+ years ago and D & P pools exceeded my expectations. Everyone was beyond professional, friendly and highly knowledgeable about the industry. Matt, Rick and the team answered all and any questions I had in a very timely manner (and there were A LOT!). There was (and is) a lot of uncertainty in the pool industry now with so many supply issues and D & P Pools was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process. I just had my pool closed for the first time with D&P Pools, and they were amazing. I have had other pool companies close my pool, but never like these guys. Friendly, knowledgeable, they answered all my questions , they removed my cartridge filter, which no other pool company has done previously. I can't say enough about them! I purchased a pool from D and P/EZ Test pools and it was installed last fall, it was covered for the winter, in the spring the cover was taken off and we got it up and running, this is when I noticed that the pool water levels were dropping at a higher rate than I thought was normal and the liner they installed was very wrinkled. I sent an email to the sales guy at EZ Test who is super nice but wasn't able to give me a solid answer about what normal water evaporation is so I did some research and found out that my water drop was above what was normal, it wasn't even hot and water was evaporating 1/4 inch in 24 hours and now that it's hot it's 1 " in 48 hours. EZ Test did send out their guy Dean to pressure test the plumbing to see if it is leaking under ground and he said it wasn't they also tried to remove the many wrinkles that were in the liner that they installed but they didn't come out, I sent several more emails and called numerous more times but Dave would never call me back, I was told they can't give out his number and that he doesn't have email. In my opinion Dave lacks communication skills and can't talk to the clients so he has others communicate for him. M y first email to EZ Test regarding the water levels/wrinkles was 5/20/21 and we are now at 6/29/21 and no response from Dave. I found a general email address for D and P and sent an email and received a return email from Trisha that I would be hearing from their attorney. I have no idea why they would be suing me because I have paid them $40K for a pool that is leaking and has a wrinkled liner. Now my patio is sinking next to the pool and it seems likely that water from the pool is causing this problem. I am not completely sure at this point but I will be finding out. I would stay away from this company at all cost, I regret my decision to buy a pool from them, their sales guy John in North Reading is super nice and I trusted him but he doesn't own the company and bottom line in my experience Dave takes the money and runs and has no integrity. read more

If I could give it 0, I would. D&P pool, EZ test's maintenance and installation side just bailed on installing our pool liner after agreeing 2 months ago AND after signing a contract to do the work. I wish it was possible to give 0 stars. The service manager Pam is the least profesional contact I have ever interacted with. D&P opened our pool last week and the pump was broken. They didn't bother to call me and just left a vague note. I immediately went out to purchase a new pump. I called Pam who repeatedly told me she would contact the tech and get back to me. I called for 5 days straight-- me being the one to reach out each time, only to be told I'd get a call back that never came. In this time, we had what was basically a swamp of standing water in our yard. There were ducks and rodents in it and we couldn't get a call back or a definitive date of when someone would be back out to help us. Pam said "how do you normally keep the ducks out?"-- umm we don't, it's a clean pool. They don't come. To which she replied, "oh i don't know. i don't have a pool". After one of our final phone calls, she called back and left a ranting vm saying "I REALLY HOPE YOU DIDNT HANG UP ON ME". I didn't, but I also don't need antagonistic voice mails from a company we are paying and have worked with for several years. I asked for a call from the GM/OWNER as there are still significant issues with our pool. My husband called this morning to see when we can expect to hear, since truthfully I'd rather gnaw my arm off than speak to Pam again and he was told we won't be getting a call and the owner will be sending a letter, as he thinks it's best to part ways. I only wish we read the many, similar negative reviews about this company sooner. read more

Impossible to reach by phone or email. D and P Pools does not call back and claims there email does not work. Meanwhile your hot tub leaks all over. If you want the runaround,,, give em a call. I decided to fix my own hot tub leaking pump for $78 in parts, ...since they never call back to schedule any service and claim there email does not work either. read more
