I had to add brake fluid twice within the last 18 months and I thought that meant the brake pads were worn out and low on pad material. They could have told me to replace the shocks and brakes and it would have been very expensive. Thousands were not spent per their recommendation that the shocks were fine and a loose fitting on one brake caliper fixed the low brake fluid. I did have the oil changed, wheel stud replaced, turn signal and side marker fixed. Very pleased with their speedy work and not taking advantage of us. I really want to support local businesses and not go to big box stores. I really appreciate what Beck's Auto does for Barefoot Bay.

One year later the back end was howling, my husband took it back there for them to repair once again. Well another year later that truck was howling. Instead of taking it back to them my husband and his mechanic friend decided to just do it themselves. When they took the rear end axel off and apart, they found that almost everthing was original to the truck. He said only the outer bearings had been replaced (our reciept said a full bearing kit) ...the easy ones to get to. He also saw that these bastards reused the seals/gaskets, just put a bunch of blue sealer glue on them! Seals don't cost that much and if you are going to charge someone for it, you better replace it. I advise that you stay as far away from this place as possible. We have never seen such dishonesty in a mechanic..
