And for a two-bay shop, they were able to take me in very quickly, and did not keep the truck longer than one overnight. Nowadays, EVERY visit to a shop means a bill in high three figures, if not low four figures, and I have no way to calculate comparative economics. Certified is now my go-to repair shop. Preferred over AJ's and definitely over Power GMC.

Eleven (11) days later, I received absolutely No calls about the work being done. When I did call they acted like you were interrupting them, causing an inconvenience. They are quite judgmental, they don't care. I finally had to drive by this inept business to make sure they received the $6000 from my credit union, and asked when my van would be ready. The owner stated they all knew about my situation? I wasn't sure about my situation either! ; ) I was staying in a motel, and I had a rental car (BUDGET RENT A CAR, BEST BUSINESS,) because my home was being questionably worked on! I'm a single white woman (yeah, I see the problem) retired/disabled from USPS. I bought a van to continue my travels. I'm free enjoying my life, until an inept business owner decides to scam customers! I forgot I smoke marijuana and this inept business owner thinks he's going to shame me for participating in legal activities in my private life! He told me to go smoke a joint! Actually joints are a waste if you're alone. I prefer my pipe, later while resting from the crap of the day is still on you! This inept business owner couldn't find the problem with, why my transmission was still slipping and lurching forward while in gear! The cost is already $6720.00. Like the corrupt current regime, this inept business owner can smell more money to con out of this customer! Before the transmission work was completed it was suggested a tuneup was needed. The transmission is still slipping into neutral. I'm not sure how an expensive tuneup can eliminate that, but I'm just a stupid woman! (Same problem) The supposed tuneup took over two (2) days. The inept business owner ordered the wrong part, TWO DAYS IN A ROW! DO NOT WORRY THEY MADE THE PART FIT! I'm not sure how comfortable a customer will feel, if my father and I did our business building and repairing televisions, if we told a customer, "We ordered the wrong part twice, but don't worry we made it fit!" Obviously you cannot question this inept business because they have every excuse in the book to gaslight and blame the customer for their inadequacies and bad business! When I finally arrived to pick up my van, I was given additional cost of $2000. Again it took so long before contacting me, I was unable to get to the bank, this inept business only like Cash, or it will cost you more! I had to sign off releasing the van to me, the inept business owner telling me, "Your stressing me out!" Narcissist Much! I was just told my cost for a new transmission still slipping into neutral lurching forward and a part you forced to fit for a tuneup is $8600! This inept business owner threw his little clip board said " F this" reached into my vehicle turning my van off, trying to take my keys. Stating "You aren't getting your vehicle until it's paid in full!" I took my keys back shut and locked my doors, backed out! I called the police the next morning. Salem police informed me to pay my bill and work with this inept business owner, so he can cost me more money and ruin my vehicle! I WILL SEE YOU IN COURT! I am having my transmission inspected by a reputable certified transmission specialist who has degrees! The money I have to pay outside sources will be totaled for reimbursement from Cherry City Transmission Inept Corrupt Business! ; ) Not a certificate hanging on a nasty wall! This inept business owner doesn't know what he is doing nor does he tell the truth. My nightmare started last Fri night (11/12/21) when I stayed overnight in NE Salem at a friend's…read morehouse and woke up to find my 1992 Acura Integra STOLEN. I was in shock of course, having never had a car stolen before. I got a call from Salem police two days later saying they found the car. It was impounded so we drove up on Monday afternoon and went to rescue it. I couldn't believe how the thieves sought to destroy my well-loved classic car. I couldn't start it and there was TONS of mud inside the car, under the hood, the back area under the hatchback was smashed along w/ a taillight. I knew I was going to pay for someone else's crime, which sickened me. The tow company recommended Valley Specialist so I had the car towed there that afternoon. Very nice staff, the young woman who runs the front office was so kind, love the sweet mascot they have (dog). I was fearing a big mess and big bill. The next morning I got a call from the shop and the first step was replacing the starter. I approved it. About 2 hrs later I found a receipt that I bought a new starter from a local shop for a new starter. I called the local shop and they called Valley Specialists and told them it was under warranty. I got a call from VS about 1 pm stating the car was working and that seemed to be the only problem w/ the car-mechanically speaking. The starter was swapped out for free and the bill was just $132 for the labor! I was thrilled! Without a doubt.....Valley Specialists are top notch and honest! I will definitely use them if I need them and I'm in the area! THANK YOU FOR HELPING TO EASE MY PAIN!
