Freddy also repaired loose boards and replaced ones that were rotting. I was very satisfied with this company and their communication. I asked Freddy for a second quote on two more properties that I needed just trimwork repainted. However, I didn't feel their pricing was fair, compared to the other quotes I was receiving. I did end up contracting with my former painter on this job because his estimate was significantly less. Freddy was paid $2700 for the decks at my fourplex, but he wanted $4000 for trimwork on the current job. That wasn't working for me. I would try Freddy Painting again in the future to see if his quote would be fair like the first job. He did good work.

My experience with Jesse has consistently been positive. What has always stood out to me about Jesse is his commitment to remaining involved with his clients throughout the entire remodeling process, from the initial consultation through completion. He does not simply start a project and disappear or hand everything off to someone else. He takes pride in his work, communicates with his customers, and makes an effort to address concerns when they arise. I served as the project manager for David Orr's remodeling project. Jesse was responsible for the remodeling work, while my team handled the fabrication and installation of the countertops and sinks. Working alongside Jesse gave me firsthand knowledge of his involvement in the project and his interactions with the client. Throughout the project, I found Jesse to be professional, courteous, meticulous in his work, and fair in his pricing. What concerns me most about this review is the timeline and the circumstances surrounding it. The project was completed approximately nine months before this review was posted. There were plenty of opportunity to inspect the completed project at the time the work was finished. The customer did not want to replace the cabinet due to waiting for the arrival of the new baby. When painting older cabinets a stain finish is recommended. That is what agreed upon, not a glossy finish like laminated cabinets. If the work was considered unacceptable upon completion, it raises reasonable questions as to why those concerns were not raised during the final inspection or immediately following completion. It also raises the question of what changed during the months that followed and why the original five-star review was removed. There was also previously a five-star review of the project that was later removed and replaced with this negative review. Given my direct involvement in the project, I believe that history is relevant context. I am not suggesting that a customer cannot later discover an issue or change their opinion. That can certainly happen. However, when a project was completed months earlier, inspected at completion, and initially received a positive review, I believe that timeline should also be considered when evaluating a review that is posted much later. Over the nearly 10 years that I have known and worked with Jesse; I have personally witnessed him return to projects to address concerns, make corrections, and complete touch-ups when necessary. I have also seen him go beyond the original scope of work on occasion as a courtesy to his customers. No contractor is perfect, and mistakes can happen on remodeling projects. What has mattered to me when referring my own clients to Jesse is how he responds when an issue arises. In my experience, Jesse has made an effort to address legitimate concerns and stand behind his work. I respect every customer's right to share their experience. At the same time, because I served as the project manager on this particular project, I believe it is important to provide additional context based on what I personally observed. My comments are not based on assumptions or on someone else's account of the project. They are based on my direct involvement with the work and my professional experience working with Jesse for nearly a decade. My experience with Jesse has been one of professionalism, accountability, and a genuine commitment to his customers.
