Well this time when I called I got an older lady who literally refused to give me her name and stated "I do not need to give you my name" after I asked for her name at the end of the call because one she never introduced herself like I did and the tone of her voice and the way she talked to me was completely unacceptable and very unprofessional. This older woman told me "we don't do refunds so we're not going to give you another free plant, you are lucky you even got one free plant, for all we know it could have snapped at the base from the wind or you planted it wrong and all of our Zinnias are all healthy and doing great so obviously you did something wrong and killed the plant..." but even though there planted in window boxes and the rest are all thriving. I have spent thousands of dollars at this place and unfortunately with them I will never step foot again in that place. If the older gentleman saw me in person along with my significant other, he'd know exactly who we were. Also, if there are supposed signs in your place of business saying no refunds even though I'm not asking for a refund then maybe you should inform your employees regarding it. I never felt rushed inside the store and while I haven't yet cooked/prepared all the items, it all looked fresh. I made some of the feta/spinach sausage today and it was delicious and not too fatty. There are cheeses, breads and some condiments for sale as well as local products like Gondola Macaroni. I'll definitely be coming back often for my meat/seafood needs.

My cousin took me there to get some of their fabulous Hungarian sausage that they make in the store. It's just like my Uncle Nicky Zauner used to make - lean, flavorful, smoky, delicious! We were there in October, and there was a beautiful fresh turkey in the case, as well. It was absolutely pristine, and if I hadn't had to drive all the way back to Louisiana, I'd have gotten it on the spot. BTW, the sausage is dried after it is smoked (it's not dry, though) and it keeps a very long time. I brought home ten pounds, and my family has nearly devoured the whole batch. I'm going to call and see if they will consider shipping me some more. It's extremely hard to find sausage that meets the standards some of us were lucky enough to grow up with. Eating my Uncle Nick's homemade sausage pretty much spoiled me for anything produced commercially. I'm so glad The Natural Link is keeping alive such a great Old Country tradition!
