    Hearty plants well cared for

We stopped at the local big box home center and were disappointed with the condition of the plants. We decided to look elsewhere and remembered Goodman's on Niagara Falls Blvd, just outside of the city. While slightly more expensive the quality of their plants far exceeds that of the big box home store. It was also nice shopping in a less crowded setting. The selection of plants was excellent and we found varieties that we had not seen elsewhere. Goodman's also has fresh produce and a few other food items and decorations. I think the next time I need plants and flowers I'll skip the big box store and go directly to Goodman's.

Great place to pick up garden starters. Beautiful selection of garden flowers, veggies and hanging baskets. The selection of other items inside the store varies and is typically at its best around holidays when you can pick up Easter lilies, hydrangeas and chocolate, Christmas tree selection is pretty decent as well. Inside the store again the selection can vary, but you can always find some fresh fruit and veggies. Tart cherry juice is available here (as well as many other places) but it has some great health benefits, so pick some up! We have found some lovely bird houses here in the past as well as other garden accessories that you can typically find at most nurseries. Service is always friendly, store is clean and spacious. Though I am giving a 3 star rating, we appreciate having this business nearby and think it's definately worth stopping in if you are in the area.

This summer me and one of my cousins and our husbands came back to relive our memories, and the place was just how I remembered. Very friendly staff and service. There is a phone number on their website to call which gives up to date directions in terms of what is available and when and where which is super convenient. At the farm they have quart and pint containers, bags and trays for you to use as you go out and pick. Their fields are nice and easy to find. The fruit is fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. The trouble is the timing, anyone who has picked before knows there is a small window. Strawberries usually come near the end of June and then cherries, blueberries and raspberries quickly follow. Blink and you might miss it, as soon as the end of the school year approaches, use the phone number so that you don't! Coulters seems to have fair pricing for their fruit. Berries all are purchased by pint or quart, whereas cherries are purchased by pound. While they are delicious and worth every penny, be aware the cherries will add up quickly, they weigh more than you think! If you're looking for a fun day, rewarding when you bring home the spoils, check out Coulter farms. Remember to catch them at the end of June, and bring some sunscreen and water, it gets hot out there!
