I only leave reviews for places that either go above and beyond/ are a great business and for places that are an absolute disappointment. I live not even a mile down the road from this business, have been going there for the last 8 years spending a great amount of money and starting today they have lost my business. I bought $160.00 dollars worth of plants on 5/31, 1 out of the 6 Zinnia's I purchased immediately died within 2 days due to a broken stem that wasn't noticeable at purchase. Called them on 6/2, dealt with Amanda who was honestly the sweetest, kindest person I've ever dealt with besides the gentleman that owns the place and she saw the plant and even agreed with me that it was dead and let me exchange it. I planted the second one the same way as the 5 that are thriving and here we are 10 days later and my plant id app is saying it's sick meaning diseased. So thinking I would just exchange it again so they could see it.... Well this time when I called I got an older lady who literally refused to give me her name and stated "I do not need to give you my name" after I asked for her name at the end of the call because one she never introduced herself like I did and the tone of her voice and the way she talked to me was completely unacceptable and very unprofessional. This older woman told me "we don't do refunds so we're not going to give you another free plant, you are lucky you even got one free plant, for all we know it could have snapped at the base from the wind or you planted it wrong and all of our Zinnias are all healthy and doing great so obviously you did something wrong and killed the plant..." but even though there planted in window boxes and the rest are all thriving. I have spent thousands of dollars at this place and unfortunately with them I will never step foot again in that place. If the older gentleman saw me in person along with my significant other, he'd know exactly who we were. Also, if there are supposed signs in your place of business saying no refunds even though I'm not asking for a refund then maybe you should inform your employees regarding it. That older woman who answered my call should never be allowed to answer any calls nor work in a place of business that encounters customers. Absolutely unacceptable read more

I Live a short distance from Goodman's. I always go there! They always have what I need and their prices are great. I get everything there, garden plants, veggies, baked goods, candy,even. My Christmas tree! I have never found a better or more reasonable place to shop! Caroline W. read more

Last week after complaining about how I couldn't find anything in the stores because of the continued panic shopping, she recommended that I try my local farmers market. She told me to go Facebook see what they had and give them a call. I did exactly that and I was blown away at the selection of ress fruits and vegetables available. I made my list and gave them a call. It took several tries to get through to place my order but with persistence I got through after about a half hour. I placed an order for bananas, pears, lemons, limes, kiwis, spinach, broccoli, yellow squash, green zucchini, ginger and onions. The woman I spoke to was super helpful and patient. Being that everything is discussed over the phone, she described how the broccoli was crowns not the whole stalk and the spinach was a bushel iof a good size for a salad but not enough if it was being cooked down. She told me which of the pears were sweeter based on what was a available. She really went above and beyond. A credit card number is required at the time of the order. I requested that my order be available the following morning. When I went to pick it up, I simply pulled up, called and they brought out my groceries. It was 4 large bags full of produce. Everything was fresh and hardy. I was quite impressed. It was the best $28 I could have spent. I can't wait to place another order. read more

We stopped at the local big box home center and were disappointed with the condition of the plants. We decided to look elsewhere and remembered Goodman's on Niagara Falls Blvd, just outside of the city. While slightly more expensive the quality of their plants far exceeds that of the big box home store. It was also nice shopping in a less crowded setting. The selection of plants was excellent and we found varieties that we had not seen elsewhere. Goodman's also has fresh produce and a few other food items and decorations. I think the next time I need plants and flowers I'll skip the big box store and go directly to Goodman's. read more

Great place to pick up garden starters. Beautiful selection of garden flowers, veggies and hanging baskets. The selection of other items inside the store varies and is typically at its best around holidays when you can pick up Easter lilies, hydrangeas and chocolate, Christmas tree selection is pretty decent as well. Inside the store again the selection can vary, but you can always find some fresh fruit and veggies. Tart cherry juice is available here (as well as many other places) but it has some great health benefits, so pick some up! We have found some lovely bird houses here in the past as well as other garden accessories that you can typically find at most nurseries. Service is always friendly, store is clean and spacious. Though I am giving a 3 star rating, we appreciate having this business nearby and think it's definately worth stopping in if you are in the area. read more

I don't have a garden, but my parents do, and I went with them to get some flowers for theirs. They had a huge selection of beautiful flowers, and I really enjoyed walking around and looking at them all. They help you load your car if you get lots of stuff too. I was driving by when I saw on the sign honey. Seeing I have been wanted some local honey I figured why not stop on my way back. I was thrilled they were still open. I saw that not only did they have local honey but...they had RAW honey. I never thought they would have raw. I thought the price was reasonable so I got a jar. And I grabbed a jar of dilly brand as well. Looking forward to trying them once my cold is gone. My sense of taste is gone :-( read more
