What a Bakery and place to visit. We were on a tour of the American Falls and our driver took us to this Bakery to stop for lunch. A wonderful switch a place without fried foods and a wonderful alternative for people to eat. Many selections to choose from. Pizza, Sandwiches and plenty of Pastries. We had the Turkey and Cheddar sandwich, which I loved very much the bread was so fresh and soft. My wife had the Egg Salad sandwich on Sourdough bread and it was very good also. I also had the Pepperoni pizza and it tased very good also. Just the right amount of sauce. My wife had the German Chocolate Cake and said it was the best she every had. That is a lot because there is an Italian Bakery where we live that she loves their German Chocolate cake but it looks like it has been replaced. Of you know we had to stop there it's a beautiful little shop with an amazing view not to far from the American side of the falls. I elected to try the pizza out seeing how I'm a huge pizza guy. The Romano pizza was delicious my pepperoni pizza wasn't bad either but I feel it would've been much better warmed up. Our first time at this lovely local bakery. We have heard wonderful things about DiCamillo but it's a little out of the way for us. Since we were in the area we thought it's a great day to check it out. We were not disappointed in the selection. There were breads, pastries, gelato, sandwiches, dried and frozen pasta and some pantry items. We decided to sample a few items an eclair, cookies and a pastry ring. The eclair was to die for. Yummy custard and chocolate icing were sandwiched in between light and airy pastry dough. The pastry ring was pretty good and was taken into work to share with coworkers. Finally the cookies, in our opinion, were ok. They were the kind that is a little on the drier side and that is just not our preferred cookie texture. The bakery was much larger than we expected. There are some tables and window spots for indoor seating. If we visit on a warmer day we would love to try the gelato and possibly the cookie ice cream sandwiches. read more

DiCamillo's has always been a staple of Niagara Falls. I have yet to find a bakery, that makes better Italian bread than here. They have so many other great items as well. Such as, their pizza bread. This place is special! We were in Niagra Falls for 48 hours and made two trips to DiCamillo's in that short time. The staff was patient as we looked around and tried to decide what to choose. The employee waiting on us even threw in a few extra donuts for us when we couldn't decide! Make sure you get a loaf of bread to go. We also absolutely loved the broccoli pizza. This location specifically is highly recommended. The interior is beautiful with an oven and view into the bakery. Plenty of seating outside. The service is very friendly and staff are knowledgeable about the products. There is nothing better than this bread in the US, I've been eating it since I was a child so the flavor and texture are a part of my DNA. I will always compare other breads to this. I decided to review today because the pot roast sandwich heated is now one of my top 5 all time favorite sandwiches. The roll is light and airy so it doesn't over power the contents. The pot roast is juicy and full of flavor, so much that it does not require a dressing. To finish it off I believe is mozzarella and roasted red pepper. As with any Italian dish it's about quality ingredients in the perfect proportion and that is what they have with this sandwich. The same can be said for every type of pizza they offer. While on vacation, my wife and I drove to DiCamillo Bakery based on a recommendation from our neighbor in Florida who grew up in Niagra Falls. We stopped for lunch at a local pizzería beforehand only to find it closed that day. Thats when we drove to pick up some bread and cannolis at DiCamillo's. To our surprise, they had multiple trays of freshly baked pizza cut into single serving squares, which were thick like a siciliana style pizza.The pizzas were all gourmet, and we each had a slice with brocolli and cheese. It was decadent; not a word I ever use to describe pizza, but it was sooooooo delicious. The cannolis were fresh but had pineapple in the filling. I was not a fan of the cannoli because of the pineapple. The fresh baked bread was excellent. My wife and I will visit the bakery again if we are ever in Niagra Falls on vacation. read more

I was working a booth at the Lewiston Art Festival (8.13.22) and went to this bakeries booth to order a cannoli. The signs just said it was a plain chocolate dipped cannoli. After taking a bite, I noticed there were chunks of pineapple inside the cannoli mixture. I am highly allergic to pineapple and had to run to my car and get my EpiPen and leave to go to the doctor. My friend went to their tent with my unfinished, almost full cannoli and told them that the signs didn't mention anything about pineapple and I was allergic and had eaten it. All they said was "oh sorry all the cannolis have pineapple." They did not offer a refund or an item not containing pineapple.... Very disappointed in the service and lack of empathy from this business. It really should be noted somewhere that the dessert contains pineapple! read more
