Note I was friendly and just trying to understand the additional charges when the website was not working. Not that I didn't pay. Also, this is all operational issues, nothing on the coaching staff.

We love we can bring our own food or order through their catering services. The website is user friendly & easy to book. Packages range from 10-40 kids. Pricing and # of tables provided for you to figure out to book, I like the 30 mins option and times are flexible for early to evening parties. We brought our crockpot and there's a place to plug it in. The space is just accommodating and the staff to guide the party were amazing and friendly. Assisting to setup & breakdown as well. We are so glad are guests enjoyed the party and was shocked to discover the venue. Even though it's a share space, it just didn't feel like it. I like the space they have for the parties and doesn't clash with each other. Highly recommend I had celebrated a 4 & 9 year old. And the adults themselves got to enjoy the obsracles.

The Missouri City EOS facility has only been open for just under three weeks, and I can happily say that I am more than satisfied with my membership so far. I'm giving it 5 stars despite some minor issues, because for being a High Value, Low Price gym, I really do feel like I'm getting so much value for my money. I read reviews from other locations before signing up, and my biggest concern was over crowding. To no surprise, I can admit that the gym is definitely popular, with the early morning, and evening hours being more busy than mid day. However, I have a fairly flexible schedule, and no matter what time I get to the gym, I have yet to run into any issues being able to use equipment, or complete my workouts in any way. Check in is really easy, being able to scan and go. The staff is very friendly, as well as the overall atmosphere of the gym. The locker room is clean, and there are more than enough lockers to secure your things. The showers are big, and I have had no issues getting warm water. The infrared sauna is one of my favorite after workout treats. And although they offer a hot tub and cold plunge, I believe they are having issues keeping temperature. I know the cold plunge has not been the expected 50 degrees yet, so hopefully that is fixed soon. The recovery room is nice, however it's hard to find an open chair at any given time. When I signed up for EOS, I was really excited to be able to take some G-Fit classes as well. I have taken 3 G-Fit classes so far, and this seems to be a key area that tends to be a bit chaotic during this first opening month. That being said, I can absolutely give them grace in this area. 1. Extreme Hip Hop This class is SO much fun. In my opinion, it's a high intensity "Step" class, with routines paired with popular hip hop music. I have taken Jays class as well as Charlottes class, and I really enjoyed them both. One downfall to this class, is how popular it is (A catch 22, I guess). There are 39 spots available for members to join this class, and so far it always fills up. When you consider the space available in the room, and add steps for each person, it can get really tight in there. I have also attended a class where people who did not sign up for the class still joined the class; meaning we had over 40 people trying to do a step class (Some people didn't even have a step to use) in the same room. A little chaotic. The sound system has been a little wonky, but the instructors have done great job at correcting any issues they've had so far. However crowded it is, It's too fun for me to pass up, so I just make sure to get there early so I can get a good spot. 2. Build a Peach This class exceeded my expectations. I took Trents 5:15 am class, and I think I will make it a weekly routine. Trent was amazing at guiding us through all the different exercises, the music was great, and the BURN was there almost the entire class! Online, the class was full (30 people max) but about half of us who signed up showed up. With around 15 people in the class, everyone had a good amount of space to workout. This class is a lower body heavy class, that incorporates different weights and resistance bands. Like Extreme Hip Hop I fear that a full class would feel very crowded and there would be limited space for optimal movement. I'm hoping after a few weeks, they tweak the class sizes and make sure they're taking attendance so people who signed up for the classes get priority. 3. Yoga The yoga class I took was instructed by Deirdre. She is exactly the kind of yoga instructor I prefer. She has a calm soothing voice, she explained the type of yoga we would be doing from the beginning, and she gave us enough time to modify or intensive each asana as we went along. I love how she sets a new intention every month and I appreciate the fact that she took the time to personally say hello to each person in her class. The dim lighting, and the calming music paired perfectly with her soothing aura. This class did not feel crowded at all, even with the max amount of people in the class (30 people). Deirdre guided us through a Vinyasa yoga class. The asanas she chose were great. A good combination of balancing asanas, strengthening asanas, and lengthening asanas. The only thing I would have liked to have more of is guidance through our breathing. Overall, I am so happy to be a part of the Missouri City EOS community, and so far, I am impressed with this particular facility.

I created an account, and added my daughter onto my account since there was no option for a family membership online. I felt good about my membership until I saw that I was charged $33.55 last night. This morning I called EOS, pressed Opt 1 for billing and spoke to someone from the 3rd party vendor. He told me to contact the Mo City location. I did. Brody, a MANAGER, got on the phone and when I told him what happened he said that he didn't see any charge of $33.55 on my account. He only saw where I was charged $1.07. OKkkkk....that was it. No offer to further investigate, or anything. I contacted my bank and was told to wait until Monday after the charge posted on my account if I wanted to dispute. I went into the facility today, later the same day, and inquired about the charge again. At this time, several members came up to look at my account and then the light bulb went off. They charged me the $33.55 for my daughter. Why? How do I get charged when the promo CLEARLY says "join $1 + 1st month free". Where does any extra charge come into play with me opening a NEW account with this ADVERTISED promotion? So now - the service operator lady was aware of $33.55 charge, whereas the MANAGER didn't know where it came from. He said he'd never seen someone be charged this amount when setting up a new account. But now, Brody - Josh and Deckerd (?) now see where I was charged because I "set up the account wrong". At this point Josh Trice (very nice, courteous, helpful and patient) helps to create me a new family account which will save me money over time, but I will STILL have to pay $28.++ because it is a family account. I asked Deckerd? to come back to explain why I'm having to pay anything other than the $1 join fee. Nobody could help me understand why I'm still paying a fee in addition to the ADVERTISED PROMOTION. There was constant confusion. I am still unclear as to why I had to pay any additional amount today when the website AND the site on their end shows the promo. I DO NOT LIKE BEING DECEIVED! I don't like being scammed. I feel as though I was scammed and I have an EXTREMELY low perception of this location. The ONLY reason I joined and continued withe process is because my daughter really likes it. Trust and believe, I will let EVERYONE know about the confusion and added "out of no where - hidden" fees to BOLO. Also, on their site - under the perks they offer for the top tier membership is a personalized nutrition plan. When I asked about this, they said it was an outside vendor that only gives a grocery list. Wtf?! Also, a MANAGER should be more helpful in getting to the bottom of any additional charges. Brody brushed me and my concerns off over the phone. This is not a good look or business practice. A business shouldn't have to false advertise to get business - it will only hurt you in the end. Back while I was in college, I would always play at the UC (at UH Campus). After I graduated, I just stopped playing because I didn't have my own table and I didn't want to fight for parking at UH without a parking permit (oh how I don't miss the parking situation). This place offers several good quality tables to use. Each section has plenty of room to play for more advanced players. Each table is sectioned off by short dividers to keep the balls in your area. It's the idea spot for games where you can't blame the table or lack of space when you lose or beat someone. When I went, I mostly saw advanced players but I'm sure there are still some novices like me that go. Also, don't be fooled by the older people that go or even the kids. Those elders and kids I saw were really good!

Along with their move, came some much needed upgrades. 6+ volleyball courts, separating nets, gym, turf training area, concessions, restrooms, matted flooring, seating, etc. Everything is just so much nicer than their old location. I'd say the only downside is no AC other than fans for when it's hot. If it's cold, wear a long sleeve and you'll be fine. Open gym is every Tues, Thurs, and Sun I believe. It used to be $5/person, but now it's $10/person. But I honestly don't mind the small price increase if it means this place stays in business for years to come. Covid has affected many small businesses so please to everyone in the Houston volleyball community, support Spike Sport. You can also rent a private court depending on availability for $55/hr. They hired people (mainly males) that made me and multiple other children feel uncomfortable, so I do believe they do not look into who their staff may really be. I was also groomed I'd prefer to not get into details but there was a much much older child who I now realized actually groomed me and my friends and was extremely inappropriate with us. Not to mention later on he was not even allowed in the restroom unsupervised because he had apparently asked multiple extremely young boys if he could suck them off.Now that me and my friends from there look back we realize that we were put in a unsafe environment. Not to mention the owners aren't exactly the best. In summary it was a good place but no longer is. I would not recommend sending your child and putting them through the same hell we went through. When I look back on the memories truth be told I am frustrated that the establishment was let go and that they allow things like what I've stated to happen. I hated that place and will never go back.
