I came pretty late in the day to pick it up and the manager noticed me looking in the fridge and asked if I was the one that called earlier. He was so nice about it and helped me right away. We stopped in on the 4th of July for their amazing shakes. While we were there, one of the owners took the time to talk with my husband after learning why we were in town. Then today, July 5th, my husband and our two boys went back for lunch. One of the owners sat down and spent time talking with my son, who struggles with a disability. In all our years, very few people have taken the time to truly sit down, listen, and encourage him the way he did. This owner shared some of his own struggles and told my sweet boy, "Keep fighting. God has you." Those words meant more than he will ever know. Kindness like that is rare, and it made a lasting impact on our family. If you're ever in Gonzales, please stop by and show them the same love and support they showed my son. We are beyond grateful for the compassion, encouragement, and genuine kindness they gave our family.
