I ordered a large Valentine's arrangement via FTD that was supposed to be lush with roses, carnations, and red filler flowers. What was received had the roses and carnations, but the fillers were orange and yellow lily type flowers and Christmas looking berries. All of the lilies were wilted and a few of them had dead petals. It looked like a Valentine's, Spring, Christmas nightmare. read more

I placed an order for flowers yesterday, 11/24/20, to be delivered to my sister today for her birthday that was 11/25. I spoke to Kathy (the owner) explaining I wanted a very nice bouquet with daisies included as they are my sister's favorite flowers. Kathy was as nice as could be and sent me a picture of what the flowers looked like before they were delivered today. My sister received them and was just over the moon with the flowers and said they were so fresh looking plus the arrangement contained her favorite colors and flowers. I was so happy with the flowers and was so glad to find such a caring and 'true to her word' owner/florist and will definitely give my business to Kathy for future orders. I received a call from Kathy at D'ee Angelic today in regards to an order I placed thru Pro Flowers. She was so kind and patient in my explanation of why I complained after the delivery was made. ProFlowers (FTD) DID NOT handle this correctly at all! Do not go thru Pro Flowers or FTD, etc.... call the florist directly! Short story - My mother turned 99 on Sunday. A special birthday for sure! I ordered 2 dozen long stemmed pink roses (not an inexpensive choice). I went by the picture on the website. When I spoke to my mother - she told me they were beautiful but described them as something entirely different than what I ordered. Obviously I was concerned and had no reference to go by as I live in another state. I called ProFlowers and they were argumentative and after three attempts to find out what what delivered - they said they were going to refund my money - NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR. The refused to put me in touch with the florist. Remember... I did not ask for a refund - just an explanation of what was sent. Thankfully, the florist (Kathy) called me to find out what the problem was as they don't get paid until ProFlowers releases the payment. We discussed it and Kathy was so great and I completely trust that they sent what they described and that it was worth the high dollar ticket. The reason they sent something different from the picture is that the description Proflowers (FTD) sent was very vague. I am going to make sure Dee' Angelic gets every bit of what are owed as well as my future business. In the future I will ordered direct from them! THIS is how a company should do business. Ordered from out of state for Mother's Day. The flowers were beautiful and very close to the pictured image. Only 4 starts just because the customer service reply was days after a written inquiry and multiple calls. Received an arrangement on a Friday morning. Broken flower stems, greenery down in the water and roses had brown and torn petals. Called the business and owner Cathy said they would send out a new one but wanted us to exchange the first arrangement. No Problem. I waited all afternoon, called again and got voicemail; so left a message. I called Friday around 5pm and was told they hadn't been able to make another one. They would send it out Saturday. I called about noon on Saturday and asked when they expected to deliver the replacement bouquet. She said it would be in the next couple of hours. I asked for a more specific time as we had an appointment. Cathy said no guarantees on time as it was Mother's Day weekend and they were overwhelmed. She wanted us to stay home and wait as she wanted the first bouquet returned. We agreed on a delivery time and my husband left meeting early to be there at 4pm. When I returned, I couldn't believe the second arrangement. The roses were droopy with big brown spots on the petals and one of the greenery leaves had a big hole in it. It was as wilted and pitiful as the first one. I didn't want to complain to the sender as it was a gift, but I do not recommend this florist. read more

I could have done better by going to Wal-Mart, buying $10 worth of flowers and THROWING them into a $3 vase. Flowers for a birthday using a Groupon that I purchased... maybe that was the problem? It should have been a $30 value and a monkey could have done better on that arrangement. Expected something nice and got something not so nice.... Delivery driver insisted that they were for Laura, and seemed hesitant to leave them, even though they were for Eryn..... Tears on a birthday for something that could have been better.... In the past I've used companies like ProFlowers for delivery, however I wanted to try something local and was very impressed with D'ee Angelic Rose Florist. I had a seasonal bouquet sent to my wife for our anniversary while I was traveling. There were a lot of different options for arrangements and occasions. The delivery was made on time and they called my wife ahead of time to let her know she had a delivery. The bouquet was delivered on Nov 7th and 8 days later the flowers still look great! I definitely recommend this company, they are dependable and have a great product. read more

Boo on you. I missed my delivery today by 1/2 hour. Per the driver's voice mail, I called the shop to tell them I had just missed the delivery and that I was home and they could come back by. I waited ALL AFTERNOON for the delivery, paranoid I would miss it again. No one ever showed back up. I assumed the shop would call the driver to let them know I was home since I had just missed them. I guess I should have called the driver myself since I never received my flowers. Did you even think to call me and let me know you weren't coming at all? Apparently not. I can't even get into how BAD your service is. The driver should have instructed me to call HER, not the shop. My friend who ordered the flowers for me was told they had the wrong address, so she had to call and confirm. No, my address was correct because YOU WERE ALREADY AT MY HOUSE. Then she called them back and was told I wasn't home and she had just confirmed with me I was home. I waited all day for the delivery to come back. So apparently you weren't planning on delivering any flowers to me, ever? This purchase better get refunded, you took a lovely gesture and made it into unnecessary drama. Bad business. read more

I placed an order with FTD for a Valentine's Day delivery. D'ee Angelic Rose came by at 1:00 pm when we were not home. We called 10 mins. later to say we were home now but they informed us that their site was down and they would call us back. We waited 4 hours with no call from D'ee Angelic so we called them, they said they would deliver now. When flowers arrived they looked nothing like the picture. Wilted and broken flowers and most of the other flowers looked like they were old with heavy brown tips and one side was just filler greenery. Very poor quality and craftsmanship! read more

I live my life around the moral of treating everyone no matter what with the same respect they have treated me. Cathy obviously does not live by this principle. My Dad died, my siblings flew into town, my out of state kids sent flowers. We were not home at time of delivery. We received a note on the door asking us to call. No answer. They are closed all weekend (which their message does NOT say)Their voicemail message is for the florist, a drywall and painting business AND two individuals personal phones. I never received a return call. I called them Monday 9 am to hear their excuses, no apology. My family has flown home, the moment has passed..... three days ago. I intentionally chose this company in an effort to support local business instead of a corporate online giant...I wish I could say it was a great experience. I sent flowers to a friend for her birthday (April 11). She didn't receive the flowers until the 16th -- and even this was after prodding from myself at frustration! They kept on saying that they didn't have her phone number (which was given two them by myself at the time of the order, by my friend at the initial attempt at delivery and then again by me in a follow up email inquiring about the delivery). When the flowers were finally delivered, my friend gave them permission to leave them on her porch. They were not. They were left with a neighbor - and a note was left with the neighbor's name. My friend did not know the neighbor and had to call the company to figure out which house the flowers were at. On top of it all, they were unbelievably accusatory when confronted about the delay. All in all, think twice about using this company if have a specific time in mind! read more

I have received flowers from this florist several times, last year when my father died and again this year for several occasions. I'm guessing they're the go to for 1-800 Flowers. Each arrangement, while fine in it's construction, came with flowers that needed to be cleaned up - withered petals, thorns not trimmed off, and they flowers always look beat up. I will not use this florist to send flowers and I will ask my friends and family to choose another local florist. read more

When I asked where the flowers were that I ordered a week in advance, the "lady" proceeded to yell at me for having the audacity to even ask her that question. I told her that my flowers weren't delivered and that I was going to call FTD and get my money back. She told me that's fine and that she gets paid by FTD either way. Never again! read more

They did deliver them on time but the delivery guy told her that the flowers were for a funeral, for her! Not only did it throw her off and confuse her, but it completely ruined the experience. My dad sent me flowers for my birthday, from ftd. This was the shop that got the order. First, in their notes they said not to deliver before 2:30pm on Friday. The tag left on the door stated deliver time 11:15am. I was at work, as soon as I returned home I called. "We cannot deliver until tomorrow," was what they told me. When I looked up the shop, they are literally 1.5 miles from my house, but they didn't offer for me to pick it up. I told them I couldn't take a delivery over the weekend due to other plans. They agreed to deliver later on Friday but didn't specify what time. We waited at home till 5 pm and left after calling with no answer to find out when they planned to deliver; we went to dinner. During dinner, I received another call from the shop that they were ready to deliver. I instructed them to leave the arrangement on the porch. The arrangement was beautiful, even had a box of delicious chocolates. Saturday morning, I received another phone call from the shop. "We sent you the wrong arrangement." What?! She explained she didn't know how that happened but wanted to make it right. I was out of town and needed them to wait til Monday to fix this issue. The card in the arrangement on my table was to me, from my dad. When the new arrangement arrived Monday morning, the delivery woman asked for the original and I brought it to her. It apparently contained too much water for her liking and she proceeded to pour the excess water onto the mat at my front door with absolutely no apologies. It only takes two steps to get to a place where she could have poured the water on the ground. She didn't need to pour it at my front door. We will never use this shop again! read more

Absolutely terrible customer service! They told the individual who bought flowers for me (I am bed rested with a recent surgery) that they attempted to deliver but no one was home (I have been unable to leave my place for six days). When they attempted to deliver today, they called and literally yelled at me because they said he was outside our door. We went outside and told her that he was not outside and she put the phone down and yelled to another co worker in the background "God these people!" When we told her that we could hear her complaining about us over the phone she said "Oh yeah? What did I say?" By far the worst customer service possible, and yelling at someone who is having difficulty speaking is just not something that any place, delivering items to hopefully raise the spirit of those suffering, should ever be doing. This is now my "go to" florist. I have ordered two corsages for two homecoming dances and both have come out beautiful. They gave me all kinds of guidance on color, style, etc. My son's dates loved them. One was almost brought to tears. They offer very friendly guest service and reasonable prices. My husband sent me flowers from this shop and they tried to deliver the flowers to me on Saturday, but I wasn't home so they left a tag on the door that said to call them. I called them on Sunday and the woman that answered said that they weren't open on Sundays and the next time they would be in wouldn't be until after christmas. She said I could come and pick them up but she wouldn't be in the shop much longer. I live in Loveland and I have a baby, so getting out of the house in time wasn't going to happen. She said that she would have to call me back to see if she could have them delivered (btw, she had a major attitude during the whole conversation). I don't know why they didn't just leave the flowers on my porch or with a neighbor. Well, someone called me back and said that no one would be in the shop for 2 hours and I could pick them up then. This person said she would have someone call me when they were back in the shop...I have not heard back from this shop. I called and left a message, but who knows if I will hear back from them now. This floral shop obviously doesn't have a back-up plan for the holidays when they can't make their deliveries. Plus, they weren't very nice about it when I called. I would recommend NOT using this shop. I'm sure there are plenty more florists that are much more willing to please their customers! I ordered online and received an email saying to call them because my order could not be completed. So I called and left a message. When I did not get a call back within 24 hours I called another florist to send the sympathy flowers. Then a few days later I got an email receipt and a note from them saying the delivery is complete. I called and got Cathy who told me to call back because she was off work. She was rude and would not refund my money even though her own poor business practices caused the error. Upside - my friend got two sympathy bouquets from me. WEDDING NIGHTMARE!!! STEER CLEAR!!! Completely experienced the holiday dilemma Annette mentioned. 4th of July wedding. ENTIRE order wrong. Not just wrong, very wrong as in not even close to color or types of flowers ordered. Again, like Annette, got major attitude with owner Cathy. Very poor knowledge of flowers by name. Very weird negotiating about prices - offered a $15 break on a large order than guilt tripped for it later during a 2nd inquiry to add more flowers. Treated like a beggar for being on a budget. Owner Cathy is hard to communicate with and doesn't listen well. Hot and cold type who can't remember much. Delivered by her daughter with 3 kids and husband - awkward and distracting during delivery review. Blamed me for mistakes on order an hour before my ceremony was supposed to start. She seriously ruined my wedding, many tears and heartache over this. For a flower lady I'm not sure she realizes how important flowers can be to people. read more
