I was interested in using the opportunity to upgrade to a hybrid heat pump water heater and hd's guys said I may need a second electrical panel!? Rather than bite the bullet I opened up trusty yelp and created a 2 new home projects for my water heater and the electical outlet it needed. Tony from ppe saved my day after he contacted me thru yelp. He seemed knowledgeable and was good at explaining things. He vokunteered his elecrician license information for verification. He then came thru to install the 240v outlet in my basement. While there he gave some good advice regarding electrical safety and even fixed some breakers that were inappropriately installed by a prior contractor. He was prompt and even though this all happened right before Thanksgiving, Tony was in touch with me throughout that following weekend. He got it done the following Tuesday. He was a pleasure to work with and his price was fair.

After today's telephone conversation it was mentioned that the this amount was for the first visit to determine the problem. They SNEAKED that in. Customers beware they CHARGE FOR ESTIMATES WITHOUT TEILLING YOU which does neither reflect in the estimate nor invoice. I was told they would check into it I will advise later what they have to say. Not good business practices!!!! Today 9/22/25 one of the owners called and advised I would get a refund to my CC in the amount of 282.16 because I was not told before. However be advised that they give NO FREE ESTIMATES ON REPAIRS and will charge for the initial visit to determine the problem. They charge $ 115 alone for dispatch ++.​
