The old unit served us well and ran way past it's prime. We now needed a new unit and a company we trusted to install and stand behind it as it began it's cooling service. We called several companies for quotes on a replacement unit and Leadbeaters Plumbing & HVAC was by far the top company as far as replacement costs and warranties (parts and labor) go. They were super friendly and pleasant to deal with and answered all questions and concerns we had. Leadbeaters Plumbing & HVAC is a family run business. They offer interest free financing, estimates and quotes are provided up front, they arrive on time, leave the work space clean when they are finished, they do quality work and are polite and professional. We are happy we found them for our AC replacement and will certainly use them again in the future if needed for plumbing or HVAC work. Highly recommended!

I was so impressed with the courteous, respectful degree of skilled men (Bill/Dan and Frank) that completed the job. They all worked together so well without any lack of understanding of the job at hand, solving all the little unknowns that occurred. Believe me it was a nightmare! I highly recommend this company if you looking for a honest team to complete your home needs. Bill had no problem explaining to me what was going on and how it would be solved. As I stated this is definitely the company and team to choose. Thank you Again and have a Wonderful Warm Day ! Linda H.

I reluctantly contacted the company for an after-hours service call, hoping the issue would be covered under the manufacturer's warranty. I was charged $135 for the visit and an additional $55 to check the refrigerant. The technician concluded that the system was completely out of refrigerant and quoted me $2,419.81 for repairs. I was shown an itemized list on an iPad, with the total displayed at the bottom. I declined the repair at that time, as the technician said they would follow up with the manufacturer to determine if it was covered under warranty. I requested a copy of the itemized quote via email. Instead of receiving that detailed quote, I was only emailed a receipt for the $190 service charge. At the bottom of the receipt was a brief summary of the service, which read: "Upon arrival check AC system calling for AC check furnace blower operating test condensation pump ok. Located outdoor unit not operating contactor not energizing due to open pressure switch check charge system empty found oil of top of compressor price out repairs to customer. Quoted $2,419.81 for repairs. Customer declined repair will have to follow up with warranty with manufacturer." While the technician was still on site, I went outside to inspect the unit with him. He pointed to a shiny spot on top of the compressor, suggesting that it indicated a leak. I noticed the copper line entering the compressor appeared to be twisted and asked him about it. He said he had never seen anything like that. The following morning, I called the office and again requested the itemized breakdown of the $2,419 quote. I was told no such breakdown existed and that the summary on the receipt was all they would provide. Their response was simply, "We just want to get the unit fixed." I raised my concern about the twisted copper line, noting that no one other than their installers had touched the unit since installation. The representative replied that they didn't know who might have bent it, but reiterated the repair would still cost $2,419. I declined the repair because: No detailed cost breakdown was provided. The visible damage appears to involve the copper line, which could point to a possible installation issue. I felt pressured to accept a vague and costly repair without transparency. I believe the situation should be reassessed fairly, especially considering the age of the unit, the potential installation defect, and the lack of transparency in the repair pricing.
