Staff is super rude, dismissive and constantly rolling their eyes. We asked to clarify no sausage and the worker got so mad she was on the brink of crying. Food takes forever to come out. About 30 minutes for two sandwiches. Through the kitchen window, you can see the staff eating. The girl making the milkshake put her finger in the shake to taste it, licked her fingers and continued making the milkshake. Safety violations everywhere. Got a small cone icecream, was asked if I wanted two scoops and I said just whatever is the small size and then she proceeded to give me two scoops and then charged me for a large??? Grabbed a quick egg sandwich which was nutritionally dense. Great coffee prices!

Such Great coffee we had to come back a second time today for another! Food was decent and the ice cream flavors were incredible (Nutella, coffee& donut)!

This ice cream shop, bakery, breakfast and lunch business is a good place to stop for any of the above. One afternoon I stopped by for a scoop of praline ice cream that was an enjoyable treat. A couple of days later I was looking for some breakfast and opted for a ham and cheese sandwich that was also delicious. It's counter service that is friendly, there is plenty of indoor seating and it's located on the main street of Isabel II and therefore easy to find. Also, it's the only ice cream shop on the island that I am aware of.

The food was tasty. Service was expeditious. Nice island vibe ambiance. The place is cool inside which is good on a hot summer day.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. Arrived on the Ferry to the island around 6:00am, walked around in search of anything open to have breakfast. Google led me here, because they open at 7:00am. My friend and I waited at the doors for them to open. An extremely unfriendly lady opened the doors at 7:07 with a RBF. Never even cracked any type of smile. I said, "Good Morning! How are you today"?....No response. We tried to order breakfast, and kept striking out. No pancakes. No bacon. No bread! Lol. Okay...maybe todays delivery hadn't come yet. They have a good selection of a Monin flavored syrups- which are amazing! But, they are all behind this fogged glass, which makes it impossible to read the flavors. I asked for a list of flavors, and the girl rolled her eyes at me and then asked the girl in kitchen to come talk to me. She came out and proceeded to read the flavors. We ordered two cappuccinos and French toast with eggs over medium and ham. Confused how they can serve French toast, but said they had no bread. ?? Twenty four minutes later I see my food sitting in window and walk up to counter and patiently wait to be acknowledged. Counter girl pulls my food out of window, sets it on counter and then starts to make our cappuccino's. Yes...we have been here 25 minutes at this point, and still don't have our coffee. She is moving extremely slow. Like she is purposely trying to piss everyone off. At this point, there are now 8 people in line. I ask if she can please just hand me the food so my friend can start eating the eggs before they get cold. More attitude as she tosses the plate at me. Lol! I walk the food to the table. Eggs are scrambled and Turkey is on plate instead of ham. I don't even care at this point. We are hungry and just want to eat. Turkey looks like something from a school cafeteria- and we don't touch it. French toast was bad. Thin, cheap white bread. My Capp was great, and only decent thing of this experience. I don't understand why people work in hospitality if they are going to treat customers so rude and disrespectful. Not a great start to my first impression of this island. People at the table next to us are joking about how we all should have just waited another hour for restaurant down the street to open. Positive the food would have been better and no possible way service could have been worse. Point of this long review. Skip this place. Wait a bit longer if it's early in the a.m. and head anywhere else!

Sorry, ate part of my ice cream first...

It was a hot hot hot day and I was hungry, probably quite dehydrated, and in need of sustenance. Luckily, Yelp and my very touristy map told me D'Frozz was nearby so I had to check it out. Lots of different food items there but as is on brand for me, I immediately gravitated to the ice cream. The cotton candy flavor was super sugary, but loved the crunchy things in it and I really needed sugar so it was perfect. Just the fuel I needed before my afternoon walk and swim. So glad there was ice cream and would definitely come back!

Nice coffee shop with air conditioned sitting area. Laid back jazz music playing. Good coffee. Fresh sandwiches made to order. Service was attentive. Clean rest rooms

For those traveling by ferry, this place is very convenient and close. You can walk just a few blocks up the road from the ferry drop off and it's a block into town. One of the earlier opening cafes with lots of AC and places to charge your cell phone. We got a breakfast burrito with LOTS of egg, cheese, sausage, hash brown, spinach, tomato, and bell peppers. It was a full and yummy burrito and the burrito was grilled a little on the outside so it was crispy too! It was under $6 and a GREAT price for how much good yummy food was there. They have an assortment of donuts and sweet pastries as well. We didn't get any because we prefer savory breakfasts but they have it for those who want it! Nearby is also Luna Loca which is very convenient because that's a really great trinket/souvenir shop. We spent $150 there in about 25 mins and ran to our ferry! Location is prime for ferry travelers!!!

Waited more than 2 hours for the food which is ridiculous even in Puerto Rico. Only good thing was air conditioning.

Super causal vibe, which was so nice. Everyone was so friendly and talkative. I love meeting locals especially when they share a little bit of history too. We started off with coffee and lattes. For a chill breakfast place, they have left coffee! Love that I could get a latte! For the table, we ordered pancakes to share. The pancakes are so delicious! Literally like a cake! We got the cinnamon roll and Reese's pancakes. Good way to try a little of everything. For breakfast entrees, I ordered the taco rancheros. The table ordered the steak omelette and the seafood omelette made with duck eggs. Both were specials. Also, the table got a burrito. Overall, the experience was so great! What a special little gem.

The location is a big bonus too--right across from the beach--so you get a beautiful view while you enjoy your meal. Definitely a perfect way to start your morning and a spot you shouldn't miss if you're nearby.
