I have sent several friends there over the years and they have continued to see the Drs even though Narberth is not really convenient to our neighborhood. Donna, the hygienist is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She cares about your teeth and everything else going on in your life. Donna remembers conversations and stories from way back and you end up forming a relationship with her. She excels at her job and I never let anyone else clean my teeth. I move my schedule so I can specifically see Donna. Dr Maltz is a great dentist and very efficient. He is also very personable and enjoys his job. Leigh Ann is just as wonderful- must run in the family. Leigh Ann provides truthful consultation about what can be done to improve the look of your teeth. I have been a patient at Dillon Family Dentistry for MANY years (as in multiple decades)~as a child, Dr Dillon Sr was my dentist and then his son took over the practice and became my dentist. Throughout the years I have moved away and then returned to the area and I have always returned to this practice. Since I am currently not super local, I did try going to a dentist closer to my home. The second I sat in her chair, she tried to convince me that I needed all sorts of things~invisiline, a night guard and to redo any old fillings that I have and to replace a root canal crown. I did not trust her as I felt like I was talking to a salesperson and not a dentist. This experience made me return once again to Dr Dillon for a second opinion (in which he informed me that I needed none of the above!!!) and I have been a regular patient again ever since. The staff tried to sell me expensive cosmetic procedures while I had severe pain following a failed crown, instead of expressing any empathy regarding what I was actually experiencing. The dentist managing the procedure advised me to take something like Xanax before any future dental procedures, because I was an "anxious" patient. Having excruciating pain can make you anxious. I have a hunch they save the courteous and professional act for their wealthier patients.
