Manny and his team took such great care of our items. It is NOT easy loading things the correct way into a POD that has to be shipped over 2,000 miles. These guys did an incredible job. I'll provide a recap of how things went. We hired Good Life Moving through PODs. PODs connected us with Moving Staffers who connected us with Good Life Moving. We hired the guys for 3 hours and we made the most out of the three hours. We had everything pre-wrapped and ready to be moved into the POD. We tried to make the job easier for the guys. We left the heavy furniture to be moved from the 2nd floor down to the 1st floor. I jumped in to help move furniture as needed. With the pre-wrapping, and helping the 3rd man out move furniture down, we were able to give the guys enough time to fill the entire POD. We were able to maximize those 3 hours we paid for. It is a bit expensive, but the work they did was incredible and honestly, worth it. If I could do anything over again, I think I would want to go through Good Life Moving directly instead of going through Moving Staffers. I recommend them. ESPECIALLY Manny, Vic, and Maurice. The sales associate (will not mention a name) seemed great. Promised to send along a quote in 48 hours. Made me take pictures of my space, send specs, measure, etc. Two days went by and nothing. Week went by and nothing. Reached out two times. Nothing. Finally, heard from her on text saying that there was a family emergency and that the quote would be there at the end of the day. Three days later nothing. So, I sent one last text saying I would like the quote for a comparison with another company. A quote was sent. Looked like a copy and paste out of google images. The specs were not included, not the right size, and it was supposed to be two quotes with all the items requested. NOTHING. I called to ask why the quote was not correct. She didn't even know who I was and said she didn't get a chance to take the information I sent into account. She also mentioned that Breslow has been trying to get into the market in Florida for a month now. Her manager did call me afterwards and let me know that she dropped the ball. He did apologize and offered "to do whatever he could for me." When I asked him what that meant he said he didn't know and probably just meant starting from the beginning and taking over the account (couldn't do anything else). He confirmed that Breslow has been trying to get into the Florida market for 2 weeks. I have decided I will not be doing business with Breslow. I would certainly warn Florida residents to strongly consider going with someone who has done work in Florida.

The project wasn't quick because J&C correctly informed the architect doing our apartment renovation that the structural supports of the flooring were not sufficient as designed but once that was resolved the project moved along nicely. J&C do what they say and stand behind their quality work. Wine fridge and wine cellar construction is specialty work that you should leave to the professionals - not your GC.
