I've been to DJs a couple of times and would happily visit again next time I'm in Hanford. The shop has a great collection of toys, current comics, and back issues. It also boasts some pretty cool full size Star Wars figures that my nephews really dug. The location is great as it sits only about a block away from the central park. My only knock was that I was charged for an extra pack of cards but didn't realize it until we'd already gone. Probably an innocent mistake but it's still annoying when it happens. I look forward to swinging by again. read more

I can't believe such a quality comic shop can be found in a town as small as Hanford! Good stock & variety of current issues, sports & collectible (CCG) cards, and huge inventory of Star Wars figures/toys. Owner is friendly, helpful, and a fellow geek who genuinely loves the industry. Ask him about his Star Wars and GI Joe cosplay...it's amazing! I regularly visit family in Visalia and prefer to drive to Hanford to shop for comics over the local shop in Visalia. It may be smaller, but it has better new issue selection & is just a more vibrant atmosphere. read more

I notice the Pokémon card packs have a lot of glue. One of my packs had a small hole. I think they open packs and reseal them. Don't trust them. Never vying Pokémon cards here again. read more

Unfriendly staff that will make you feel bad and make political comments if you are wearing a mask. Seems like they don't really wanna be bothered, and if you ask a simple question, they will try to question you as if you are wasting their precious time. Not only that, but I can't justify the high prices that this place has. read more

We were in the area with some extra time so we went in to take a look, very nice shop with a large selection of Comics, Cards, Toys and Statues, some of the prices were a little higher than what you would find at other shops or conventions but they did have a good selection, gaming area in the back. Visited on a Saturday morning and they seemed to be pretty busy, always good to see local shops making it against the online retailers. If I needed something and was in the area I would stop in and pick it up. read more

Late review: I really like coming in and not feeling super out of place. I am not any kind of comic book reader but the guy that helped was patient and knowledgeable and best of all, he passed no judgement. :) I had to get some comic books for my daughter who just started reading them and I was just a little overwhelmed with how many comic books there were. Went here for the first time and was AMAZZZZED ..so many figures i was in heaven...but the prices OMG ...called and asked if they had a kotobukiya statue in stock and what the price was..figure was in stock but the price was CRAZZZZY ..kotobukiya websites price was 219.99 with 10 shipping...stores price was 260-270 range lol haha and the store is 30 mins from me..what the heck why is it so much...eh just gonna order from the website..crappy prices but cool place to look at. read more
