Yelp made me do it & I couldn't be more thankful! I stopped by with my husband because we needed a few shoes fixed up. I had heels that needed the tips replaced and my husband had three pairs of dress shoes that each needed a different part of the shoe fixed. These guys made his shoes look brand spankin' new. He later confessed to me that he was about to throw his shoes away because he thought they were a lost cause. They made his shoes look completely new without any issue. The price for all four pairs were very reasonable and all four were done in a week. One thing to note is that there is a private parking lot behind the building. Very disappointing. I first called before hand and asked if they clean leather purses. They said yes and I brought it in immediately after. When my husband and I brought my purse in in person, the man who runs the store, took a hard look at the Yves Saint Laurent label on the purse, said he could clean it and that it would cost $150. $150?!?.? I was thinking at max $25-35 (maybe that as someone might round up a LITTLE because it's a nicer quality purse) but $150 was absolutely ridiculous. Come to think of it, I bet if I were to ship my purse back to Yves Saint Laurent they would do it for FAR less expensive than what I was quoted here. It is really unfortunate that one would price discriminate to that degree based on seeing that it was a designer purse (I'm sure it didn't help, based on their pricing methodology, that my husband was wearing a Rolex and that I appear to be much younger than my spouse). Still not cool! I read from other reviews that pricing is reasonable.. pffft.. I assume that's for those who look like or are the everyday middle class person . First time I liked it a lot--$ 12 for replacing the bottom heels of my winter boots. The second time, the price tripled. The third time my husband took his shoes, he asked for a ridiculous amount of money, and my husband just left. His prices are just all over the place. What a terrible service from an employee today Saturday June 29 4:00pm. I called in advance to say I was picking up a pair of shoes I left for repair a week ago. The employee told me he'll be there until 4pm. I got there at 3:59pm he already had locked the doors, but since I saw him through the window I knocked on the door and with a ride gesture he just said they were closed. I was only picking up since I already paid in advance for the "service". He didn't care. Opened the door just to insult me and tell me to go to hell.... can you believe this kind of behaviors??? Great little spot for quality affordable shoe repair. There is parking the back with a rear entrance. What I liked most is that they were very honest with me and let me know what they could do with my shoes or not do. There was no empty promises just very straight up I loved it. I've been coming to this same location for shoe repairs for a long time; it used to be called La Milagrosa and it's now D'Leon Shoe Repair. I drove all the way down from Fort Lauderdale because I don't trust any other shoe repair shop. I am very pleased with the latest repair of my ultra beaten up pair of sandals that I love and have worn it over and over again. I tried to buy a new one to replace these, but they are not available anymore. So I took them to the shoe repair shop. The results are incredible!! The sandals look like they are brand new. I'm happy and highly recommend D'Leon for your favorite pair of shoes' repair. Formerly called La Milagrosa, this shoe repair shop is my go to spot when in need of some shoe fixing. It is located in a central spot on Coral Way with plenty of parking behind the building. I went on a Saturday afternoon and left three pairs of shoes that needed their heel stubs replaced, one shoe whose strap had come off the sole and a back pack in serious need of some mending. For $45 I got all my items fixed in a professional and thoughtful manner. Once my items were ready (less than a week after drop off), I received a friendly call to come pick up my new and improved fashion goodies. I went a week later to claim my items and pick up was just as smooth as drop off. I was able to park in their back lot parking area, was greeted and assisted ASAP. Since I prepaid, all I had to do was review my items and go on my merry way. It is comforting to know there is a good and decently priced shoe repair shop for all my shoe mending needs minutes away! read more

I've been coming to this place ever since it was La Milagrosa - it was bought by Argentinians now called D Leon. I've spent major bucks in this place and always go with their recommendations even though many times it's not necessary. This last time I spent 72.00 on three repairs . The job is always well done but the attitude is mostly poor and leave lots to be desired. The eldest of the three is always in a bad mood and makes you feel like he's doing you a favor. I've brushed it off every time I go and the last two times I've dealt with the other 2 cause the eldest gentleman hasn't been there. This is the last time I will go ! I rather pay triple the price then feel unnecessarily mistreated mostly, when I don't haggle , I pay ahead of time , I don't press them for time, I do all the repairs they recommend even though many times the shoe doesn't need it - and I always recommend the place . No more!!! In short I go pick up the three pairs of shoes I had dropped off a week ago and they were ready as promised - all good. I bring with me 2 additional pairs. A pair of Ferragamo's with lose inner soles and a pair of cloth Donald Pliner's pumps with slightly frayed tips. So, I asked him if he could just put a little glue on the inner soles in a really nice way - like I'm not gonna have to leave them for that right? (in Spanish) cause it's just a lick of glue? And he responded in a really nasty attitude - well, don't you see what we are doing? (He and the younger guy were both sitting on a bench by the front door with a fan hitting the wall which they were painting ) really??? So, if you want to do it you can buy the glue that is hanging on the wall for 8.00 and do it yourself!! I replied- I only asked you a question - you don't have to give me such a nasty attitude . I wish I had read the reviews first. They are just as rude and unprofessional as everyone states. The prices are exorbitant and they make you pay upfront. I won't bore you with the details, but ultimately it took me three trips back to the shop before they got the job correct. And the final product was still mediocre, at best. He was unpleasant and indignant when I suggested I get some money back for the inconvenience. After three trips, I ended up with an amateurish product that I will likely have redone. This jacket has been to Afghanistan and back. It's about more than just the money. It's sad that he cares more about a dollar than helping out a veteran. read more
