He has unqualified people ( including himself) hanging light. They have no idea on what they are doing. The lights worked only the first day. Then half went off. They have come back 4 times and STILL have not fixed the problem. Dennis promised to refund partial payment, then he said he changed his mind. I have reported him to the BBB. I have read on other sites that Dennis does not have a business license for D-lighted, but that is the company I made the check out to. Do Not Use This Company We scheduled lighting service with D-Lighted Lighting, and our point of contact was Dennis, who is also the owner. We paid a deposit and were initially understanding when rain caused delays. However, more rain was expected (and did occur), and we never received a rescheduled service date from Dennis despite waiting and following up. Due to the continued delays and lack of communication, we canceled the service and requested a refund. Dennis agreed to return our deposit and said he would send it ASAP. Since then, he has not refunded the deposit and has stopped responding to all correspondence, including multiple calls and texts. This has been extremely unprofessional. Do not use!! I hate to put a negative post-- but everyone needs to beware of this guy and his company!! I don't want someone else to be scammed. We agreed he would come at the date in November when my HOA allowed. We have had nothing but games, problems and untruths since. I am still today...waiting for my lights to be completed, along with the additional hazards he created to be repaired, which he has not repaired or bothered to show up, yet again, to handle. He is too busy "lying to" people, taking more deposits and ignoring everyone behind... He has messed with my other standard home lights, with GFI's popping, now flickering, wires laying by sprinkler heads which get wet, and only one part of lights that even work. Originally the first visit to install, his "1099 EX Felon employees" came out clueless, couldn't even find plugs, and left massive hazards and trash all over my yard and still didn't even finish the job. Probably bec he sends these ex felons to come out without any supervision whatsoever. Apparently he does it for the tax break, so he says now bec we figured it out after talking to these people when here! I'm not against rehabbing, but these people need supervision and guidance. Customers should also know they are ex felons on their property and looking in their homes from ladders etc...more than they did work. He originally sent flyers in early September to our neighborhood (Macdonald highlands). I called to schedule and he came out and gave a line of nonsense that he's the "premier lighting co" and all this other what we see now to be lies. Please beware everyone! We couldn't even get him to show up for the first appt without calling him constantly. He never answers his phone or as we are experiencing does not complete the job and creates unnecessary issues, tho I'm was hoping he would prove me wrong today before he no-showed again!! Here were are almost Thanksgiving and it's been almost three weeks with lights incomplete and hazards still existing. He promised Rudy on weds that he would be out today to complete and fix all the hazards and get the lights completed and working once and for all. No answer all day, no show again! We found out that the recent felons, that clearly have no idea how to handle electricity, nor do they have a clue how to handle customers or have respect for their property. They left tons of wires and pieces of many hazardous things all over my yard, house, sidewalk and street in front of my house. Along with tons of trash. After that I asked for my money back and to just move on. He said yes, then ghosted and refused and promised he'd make it right...here we are!!! Had to remove my own lights because they never showed back up. When they finally did come back they took it upon themselves to take yard decorations, about $600 worth. I now have to take time out of a already hectic schedule (hence why I hired a light company) to go and dig through their "warehouse" for my items. As a busy professional and father to a newborn baby, I was happy to hire out the work of decorating our house for Christmas, to try to reclaim any small bit of free time I could over the holidays. Boy do I wish I had checked Yelp prior to hiring Dennis Heinreich of D-Lighted to install my holiday lights. Nothing that new to add to the below 1-star reviews as he had the same M.O. for me, but here's my data point: I got his nice flyer in the mail (he spammed all of Seven Hills with it apparently), called him at the end of November, and he came out promptly to give me an estimate for the work. He took a four-figure check as a deposit at that time. He stated he was too busy to start that week, but would install all my lights Thursday, December 9. I was already on the fence as this would barely give us two weeks of lights prior to Christmas for such a high cost, but he reassuringly said this would be the latest date, and that he likely would be able to come out even earlier to set up the lights. So, of course, no one came earlier. His employees (without Dennis) came in the late afternoon on December 9 (he wouldn't give me a time, just at some point that day, a theme which would repeat throughout our interaction) to install a tiny strip of lights on about 1/8th of the roofline, a cheesy wreath on my front gate (don't pay him extra for the wreaths, trust me guys), and wrapped lights around two palm trees (out of five trees he was supposed to light). They then stopped at sunset but promised to return the next day to finish. They no showed the next day without any contact. I texted Dennis that evening and he promised they'd come back on Saturday to finish. The guys (different crew) that came early Saturday morning rang my doorbell and told me they couldn't do any work that day as they had not brought any light bulbs with them, only the string light holders. I found it rather odd that a holiday light decorating company wouldn't have brought light bulbs to a jobsite, but what do I know? They promised to return the next day, Sunday, to finish the job, despite them having plenty of time to go get the bulbs and come back to my home. Unfortunately, this would be the last time I ever saw anyone from D-Lighted. They of course no-showed Sunday, with no word from Dennis. Given it was a Sunday, I didn't make a stink about it and hoped they would come Monday, which they did not. I called and texted him Tuesday, no response or reply. It then rained and their shoddy workmanship immediately caused a short circuit, resulting in all but the tiny strip on my roofline to power off. These geniuses used indoor extension cords and splitters not rated for outdoor use, and then wrapped a couple strands of electrical tape around it to hold connections together. (Not even all the way around the plugs, which still wouldn't be good, but would at least show an attempt to actually seal it off. Here they just did one loop or two and said "good enough"). They had daisy chained all the tree lights and wreath together with multiple splitters and indoor extension cords sitting on the ground, soaking in puddles. After not hearing from him for a few more days, I reached out again with pictures of his blacked out lights and asked him to go ahead and take down his lights at his convenience and refund my deposit. No response to my text. I finally managed to speak to Dennis on Friday, December 17. He offered to have someone come out "over the weekend" to "fix the lights", and I reminded him that I was still waiting for him to actually _finish_ the lights in the first place. Given his track record, and the fact that we were a week from Christmas, I declined his offer and repeated my request for a refund. He explicitly agreed to mail me back my check and apologized for the horrible service I had received. Great result, right? I have neither received my check back nor heard from Dennis despite multiple texts and phone calls following up with him the last two months regarding my refund and his lights. I've had to take down all his lights, extension cords, and the chintzy wreath myself. I'm now storing it for him for free in the hopes he ever reaches out to come collect his garbage. If I continue to not hear from him, I'll have no choice but to continue to escalate this further. If there are any government lawyers or regulators out there, I suggest looking into his corporate compliance and tax history. He instructed me to make out the check to "D Lighted" despite this company apparently having had its license revoked years ago. "DAH Enterprises LLC" seems to be his current operating entity, which I assume stands for Dennis. A. Heinreich. See pictures, which are publicly available information I found with a quick search. If he indeed cashed my check made out to D Lighted, when that entity does not validly exist to transact business in Nevada, I feel like that could be a case of check fraud too, depending on the circumstances. Worst business I've ever been involved with. It was robbery and I was so disappointed I sought out the owner, I believe his name was....well, who cares. He was worthless. He was so smug the whole time. He didn't care that I was dissatisfied. On top of that, the bill came out way higher than they quoted me and it was trash. Normally for me not a problem, but a call would have been nice. No call, until I did. He promised a different date. He did not show up then either. I know there are scheduling problems, but he didn't call, I did. He promised a 3rd date. He didn't show, 3 strikes and you're out. I asked for a refund and he promised one. I then looked at my credit card statement, he had charged me twice! WOW! I disputed both of course and will wait to see what becomes of this. D-Lighted and their team have installed my holiday lights for the past 15 years. Regardless of my crazy requests Dennis & Jeannie continue to make my dreams come true. The compliments we receive each year are due to D-Lighted. If this company didn't exist, a majority of the beautifully decorated homes in the valley would be bare!!!! Last year I decided I'd try and make my own wreath to replace the wreaths that we have rented from D-Lighted the previous years. After spending hours and hours at Hobby Lobby and working on the wreath I gave up and requested a custom wreath made by Jeannie. Thankfully she was able to make time in her extremely busy schedule. Words don't express how stunning and one of a kind my custom wreath turned out. Jeannie did exactly what I visioned and then some. No one has the capability to make such gorgeous wreaths. We are getting older so we decided to hire someone to do our lights they came out and quoted us and scheduled our install however they didn't show so I called and they say they got busy and would be there the next day so 2 guys showed up late in the next day and they did not seem professional at all some of my lights were hanging down and they left trash on my roof and I paid extra for my tree to be done and they barely did the trunk I called and complained and they said they would send them back out but they never showed so my husband ended up fixing the lights removing the trash and redoing the tree the owner of the company said he would send us a check for my husband doing the tree but he never did and now I'm waiting for them to take the lights down and I've already called twice they were supposed to come today but they didn't show up read more

Dennis showed up to our house and provided us an estimate. He gave my kids free Christmas T-shirts. We ended up choosing his company and scheduled a date for light installation. Dennis stated he would come by for the deposit when he was in the area. He never came for the deposit. On the scheduled date (a Thursday) of light installation, no one showed up. I had to call to see why no one came. Dennis blamed the wind and rescheduled for two days later (a Saturday). Again, no one showed up and I never heard from the company. It's almost been two months. We have used D-Lighted for Christmas Lights for three years. Have never had any issues and Dennis is always responsive. The winds just blew down a 6 ft wreath we had them install and his crew was here the next day. I do know he had a staffing issue showing up on jobs. Unfortunately thats a nationwide issue and the owner had to deal with it the best they could. Dennis was fast to come out and give a quote but that is the only thing they were fast or even efficient at. They arrived almost on time to put the lights up but the lawn ornaments weren't there and I was told the owner would be by that afternoon to put them up (he didn't) when it got dark and the lights came on we noticed that the lights were not put up evenly and the blue strands didn't match we called them to come and fix it which they did the next day still no lawn ornaments fast forward a week later we got half of the lawn ornaments it took another week to get the rest (I only wanted 4 not trying to be the Griswalds). This was in November here it is January and once again I can't seem to get them to come and get the stuff from our house and yard I spoke to Dennis last week and he said they would be here today to get the stuff I called at 3:30 to confirm they were still going to come today and of course I had to leave a message. I do not recommend. We've used D-Lighted 2 years in a row and have had nothing but problems. The first year we constantly had to call them out to fix the lights as the timers never worked properly and there were problems with the stands of lights. They also left yard decorations after the lights were removed. After calling multiple times to have them picked up we just gave up and kept them. We decided to give them another shot this year as we are aware things happen that are out of our control and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. This year was the same thing all over again x2. The installers were very careless and disrespectful. They trampled all over our landscaping ruining plants and flowers. We had to call multiple times again about the lights not working. On one specific occasion an installer came out and couldn't find the problem and said he'd be back later to fix, and never returned, that we asked our landscaper to look at the lights and he fixed them in no time at all. With all the rain this year the breaker kept popping and the lights would not work, which I understand is out of their control. We called to have them fixed and heard a detailed vm with instructions how to check on our own. I do have to say that was nice and helpful, but still did not correct the problem. After all the fuss and problems we ended up not having lights for the holiday when we had family and friends over for entertaining. When I called again to voice my opinion on how unhappy I was I was treated poorly and the owner was very rude. I was told messages do not work and I needed to speak with him directly to come out or send text messages. Messages DO NOT WORK?!?! What??? Then why do you have a vm? I did have multiple text messages sent that I never got a response from so that is why I called and left vm's. What am I supposed to do if you DO NOT ANSWER my calls or texts??
