    Mold on the floor

    All potential renters beware! DNA management is unscrupulous in the practice of renting homes to unsuspected renters! Make sure you see a print out of all previous complaints in regards to mold in their rentals Since I left the property, nearly four years ago, on Gingerbread Lane, in East Stroudsburg, PA, there have been two more Unsuspecting renters, who eventually had to move out due to the mold issue to my knowledge has never been rectified! After notifying them I had to move all of my personal items that were not destroyed by mold, into storage! They have the unmitigated gall to sue me, even though they got first last and security deposit from when I moved in! If you wish to speak to me please answer this message me perhaps we can compare notes if you took photographs which is what I did!

    This company is AWFUL. Only a few months into my rent the ceiling collapsed and almost hit my daughter. It took them about a month to repair with no remediation. Just 'closed up' the hole. Meanwhile one of their managers told me "black mold is safe, it only effects you if you are allergic". I demanded to move out because I was pregnant and had 3 children already exposed to this mess! They not only took 3200 from me (first and last months rent) but put me in collections for 1000. I have a video of how clean I left the house. I also had to take out a loan just to be able to move out of this place because of the health hazard it imposed on my family. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. If something goes wrong they take no responsibility. I would post 0 Stars if I could. Please review the photos below. Dawn acted like she was concerned but in reality did not care at all.

Their communication on the problems, fees they are socking ME with, and general apathetic attitude is horrible. I have told them NOT to take the tenants to court anymore, I plan to evict them next month when their lease expires, but they sent a notice to the court once again and charged me a fee. Never again, I am getting out of the landlord business, and can't wait to be rid of NEPA as well.

I met Joel (the broker) when I was doing initial market research, and had no intentions of buying right then. Joel spent hours with me, showing me properties, giving me his opinions, and answering my questions. When I was ready to seriously look for a property to purchas months later, I worked directly with Kelly, the agent who handles deals in the Allentown area. She is very responsive, responsible, prompt and hard-working. This was actually her first commercial real estate deal also, but she was able to apply her expertise in the area, with some guidance from Joel, seamlessly. We had many unexpected bumps in the road (related to the property and to the seller), but she was able to guide me through them all and ultimately close the deal. This included working through the winter holiday period when she was otherwise on vacation! The only issue I had with her was a communication lapse regarding the timing of the home inspection, but she responded very well to feedback and was able to work with us to move forward. I therefore count that as something positive because you can't ever expect perfection from a person or situation, but it is very important to work with someone who can adjust to feedback, rectify the situation and move forward, and that's exactly who Kelly is. A couple other bonuses of this brokerage: - They use electronic signatures. In the 21st century, I don't believe you should work with anyone who can't work electronically. - The other professionals in their network with whom I have worked so far are also excellent. Aside from a realtor, you may also need other professional services, and it's always nice to have someone introduce you to people who are good at what they do.

Living in a few other complexes over the years, I have to say Madison is a little more expensive but you get more for the money. There is a pool, a workout center, and clubhouse all included no membership fee. They even have a small dog park! If I had to point out any flaws, the only thing that comes to mind is the parking sometimes. If I come home really late, sometimes I have to park a little further away than I usually do. Every time I've had a maintenance issue, they have come almost immediately to resolve them. They have always fixed every issue the first time. The staff in the office, as well as the maintenance guys are always very friendly and professional. They all call me by name and wave when I pass. If you're not loud or obnoxious, give them a call and check this place out. If you are loud or obnoxious, move somewhere else! :)

    This rating is specific to their application/ reserve an apt process, i am sure their property…read moremanagement competency is probably okay otherwise they wont be charging this much for rental and have 90%+ occupancy. However, renters- do consider what i went through if you want to move here. Let me give you a brief summary of how their application/ security deposit system works: 40 dollars application fees and 300 dollars to reserve an apt. When you put in security deposits, you have two weeks to move in, if you change your mind, you lose your money, but IF THEY change their mind, they will fully refund you. I went through the application process in Nov 2015, got approval and put security deposit on an unit they made available on their website (also on their dry erase board when you go into their leasing office). Two weeks before my move-in date in Dec 2015, Madison Green Valley management called me and said the tenant in the unit decided not to move and per their choice of word: "i was out of luck". At the time, they dont have any other units available, so the two options they gave me were: #1) wait 10 days, absorb all the costs associate with it (penalty to change moving date with mover, prorate for my current living situation) and move to a different unit #2) they can fully refund my application and security deposits; and again they said "i am out of luck" for waited a few weeks and that they are "sorry" i got screwed; But dont worry, Sarah will assure you this type of situation rarely happens! i am just happy i didnt end up move there because they dont own up to their mistake.
