This is my dogs happy place. He is very anxious in general and is scared of thunder, garbage trucks and any long or hostile noises, and always looks for somewhere to hide. He has received nothing but love and care at this daycare. The moment we get there he in jumping at the door trying to get in and start to play. I love to see the Instagram stories and see him running around and having fun. The attendants are so loving and caring with him and I feel fortunate to see how well cared and loved my dog is. By the reports I get I can really see that they really know understand and love my boy. The boarding here also makes it so much easier for me to leave him if I have to go out of town. All the employees are so so nice and really go out of the way to make sure he is well taken care off. I have been bringing my dogs to this location for the past year. The moment we walked in the staff was friendly and inviting. Both my dogs love going to daycare and are always happy to see the staff. One of my dogs is a little more shy with people and I could tell they have taken their time with her to make her feel comfortable and now she walks in confident and ready to play with her friends and care attendants. The second time I get an email at 5:04 saying that they noticed his eye is red and irritated and it could be because "He's been playing and running non stop so we don't know if that may have anything to do with it".. If all dogs got red eyes from running and playing around - which is the point of taking him there - all dogs would come home looking like this. I don't recommend this place at all. There is a much better place I will be taking him to that has cameras inside and you can watch your dog live all day if you wanted to. I also don't think the dogs are supervised 24/7 because when I asked what happened they had no idea, when they went to get him again, it was red. My 10 years old dog was seriously injured yesterday after only 2 hours at DOG Coral Gables. He was bitten by another dog and apparently the attendant was not capable to avoid this happening. The worst part is the way they managed the situation. They sent an email a couple of hours later (while he was in the hospital) with the following sentence: "As stated previously we are not going to be reimbursing the vet bill for Pero because we found him at fault since he was instigating and not listening to the corrections from the park attendant or the other dog.". Apparently, they considered my dog guilty of their own negligence. My dog is used to go to daycare since he was a small puppy (in Brazil, Chile, Switzerland and here in US) and this situation never happened! Very disappointed. My dog is my baby and she was in good hands when left her at Wynwood D.O.G. I moved, so brought her to the Coral Gables location. I dropped her off at 10:30. My dog is very shy. The receptionist didn't bother to pick her up but rather pulled her/dragged her to the play area from the entry way. I rushed to work, but should've taked her back home then. I called at 1:30 and they told me that she was in a kennel from 12:00-2:00 for nap time. I rushed over and picked her up and they couldn't remember which harness was hers. I left her dinner and treats for the day - both were already gone-was originally going to leave her until 6:30PM. This is a horrible place. After rescuing our dog, Gunner, we had to find a place for him that he would feel comfortable and get all the loving attention he needs. DOG Coral Gables did exactly that! Today it was my daughter´s 4th birthday and we hosted it at my house. I decided to leave my dog at D.O.G coral gables, a close by place that supposedly take care of dogs so he also could have a fun time. He is an old dog and extremely used to cage free boarding places in Chile, Brazil, Switzerland and US since he was a puppy and never had any sort of incident - ZERO - until today. He was attacked this morning and, after this happened, D.O.G staff called me to say (and wrote to me as well) two things 1 - My dog was attacked and it was his fault (yes, seems like they have a judiciary system in place) 2 - They would not cover any veterinarian cost (I did not even think of asking it at that time, I was too worried getting him well) - but they thought it to be appropriate to make it extremely clear. No, they never apologized, not even for a second... it seemed to be that my criminal dog deserved this. It must be hard to digest it as a reader... I am not a reader, it actually happened to us and it feels even worst. Please, help me understand how to just make sense of it... I just can not get it through my mind. How people who are supposed to take care of your dog act like this. Again, I have e-mail on their response, nothing is made up... I am just trying to understand, as it is appalling. After trying a few other places, we have been trusting D.O.G. in Coral Gables with the care of our beloved corgi, Winston since he was around a year old and he's going on over a year with them now. He goes to daycare, overnight boarding when needed and for grooming. We have not been dissappointed. What a great one-stop well rounded care. The staff really loves dogs but also are trained and knowledgeable with handling canines. I've watched them break-up misbehaviors, provide love and attention and properly clean the surroundings. They provide report cards if you ask for them. They have an Instagram account where they post reels so you can see them in action and see awesome posts of nearly all of the pets in their charge. They understand dog behaviors and arrange them in groups appropriately. You can book everything online or speak with them in person. They do fun events like photoshoots on Halloween and they are doing an ugly sweater party for Christmas season. The staff are simply great dog lovers. The BEST daycare ever! I moved to Miami this year, and was looking for a daycare for my furry best friend. I travel a lot for work, so it's incredibly important to find a place that feels like "a home away from home," for my pup and a place that I know I can trust. I finally found the perfect fit and it was MUCH more than my dog and I could have asked for. My dog LOVES it here and always enjoys playing with his many friends, splashing around on pool days and participates in all the festivities, including the Halloween costume contest! Whenever I have to leave town, I always board my little guy here and he CAN'T WAIT to have his frozen peanut butter treat before bed and a comfortable place to sleep. But most importantly, REALLY makes this place amazing is the staff. No joke, they are incredible! They love all the dogs, as if they were their own, and take the time to get to know each individual dog. My dog Joey LOVES everyone who works here, and his tail always starts wagging like crazy and gives everyone hugs as soon as soon as we walk in! Whenever I am out of town, I call to see how my little guy is doing and they always reassure me and give me a full report (no matter HOW MANY times I call to check in). This is our third and last time trusting this place with our dog. The service and staff has gone downhill rapidly. They act like they're doing you a favor to watch your dog and let him play a little to calm down and settle in. It's not a favor I'm paying you $60/day to let him play and be active while you watch him. Staff was very unprofessional in a phone call literally 30 minutes after we dropped him off saying they put him in a crate for being to excited and anxious. Obviously he's excited he just got dropped off at a dog daycare, maybe have your lazy ass employees shadow him for an hour to get him tired. If I wasn't at the airport I would have picked him up immediately. They obviously gave him way to much CBD and god knows what else. He has sores and scabs on his face, neck, body and paws. They will blame it on him being anxious and excited, but I'm willing to bet the staff beat him for being excited for 20 minutes at a dog daycare. I wish I could prove it but can't as they don't have cameras. It's clear the reason they don't have live cameras like the other dog daycares is because they suck and stuff the dogs in a crates all day and take a picture here and there for Instagram. We've been using D.O.G. Coral Gables Daycare since we relocated back to Miami in 2018. We researched many daycare facilities but found D.O.G. Coral Gables had the best reviews and we've been using them for over 1.5 years now for our two golden doodles. We've used unlimited Daycare services, grooming and their kennel suite services. The boys come home hungry and then tired, meaning they had a great time playing all day - getting the exercise and stimulation they need. All the staff have been so friendly, professional and warm. The boys really love them and look forward to seeing them. They are real dog lovers! I cannot say enough good about them. My little ragamuffin Magzi is very skeptical and scared of every human out there. I took her there for a trial run and as every worried parent does, called every 2 hours to check on her. We just moved here from out of state and were nervous about finding a new daycare for our dog, Jack. Jack is way spoiled and is our baby, and he's had a hard time with the move, so we were extra concerned about finding a place he'd be comfortable. We tried another daycare place first down the street from our house that's highly rated and didn't have a good experience. The next week, we brought Jack to DOG and from the minute we walked in, knew this was a great fit for us. The employees are so warm and friendly - they immediately said hi to our dog and gave him pets and treats. They were friendly and patient with all of our questions and made us feel like Jack was in great hands. Extremely dissatisfied with D.O.G I had an emergency and heard great things about this boarding place for dogs. I decided to give it a try the application process was easy enough, but when I returned the next day to pick up my Labrador retriever the front desk person told me that my dog (who has never growled or showed any signs of misbehaving or aggressive tendencies before) growled at one of their employees. I have taken my dog to numerous events, he has passed as a therapy dog multiple times, and even has been taken care of by family members with children/infants. I have never had any issues with my dog before and he might have been scared or who knows what this employee did. When I came home he was extremely thirsty drank water for about 20 min and peed the longest pee I have ever seen. Even though they told me he was never to return again I Would NEVER recommend or return to this boarding place again regardless. I don't believe the staff is trained and would be worried for any other dog owner. Best of luck! read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! After making a reservation a week prior to our trip and receiving confirmation that we were booked. We called the day of drop off to let them know we were on our way asked if there was anything additional they were needing us to take to go prepared. Their response was what reservation I can't find any reservation. Their answer to us was "what are we supposed to do?" The only reason I give this place 2 stars is because they are good to the dogs . But the customer service in this establishment is terrible . I was ten minutes late after calling that I am on the way and they closed up and boarded my dogs. They literally "kidnapped" my two dogs for a night because they could not wait ten minutes . I then asked to speak to the supervisor or the owner and was refused the option. This happened over a week ago and still have not heard an apology or anything neither their superior nor their owner reached out. When I came to complain the next day they basically said it was my fault and gave me terrible attitude. I never thought I'd become that dog person with a travel bag, portable drinking and eating cups, bags, towels, doggy deodorant, treats, a cooling pad, and sooo much more but I've evolved into becoming that dog owner with all the right essentials to best take care of my pup and it's all because of this place! I have a European tri-colored basset hound who weighs well over 70lbs and can easily be confused for a child. He's demanding and high maintenance to say the least, but with the help of the staff at D.O.G I've been lucky enough to witness my filthy giant eared baby become the obedient drool master that he is. Jackie, the manager there, spends time training him and always makes sure that she captures it all. The entire staff there is extremely attentive and very involved with all the dogs! Im so happy we have a place nearby to help out with Sam. They love their jobs and they're great at what they do. This place is not the place to leave your dog! I have been taking my dog there for about 2 months now and I am NOT happy with the service. First of all, the lady who works at the front desk is the rudest and least professional person that works there. This is the first image you get of the place when you walk in. She is rude and she is not very dog friendly. Once, I was leaving my dog there and she didn't want to go inside or with her and that is not a good sign and I should've followed my gut. Second, they do not let you inside to see the facility where you are leaving your dog. This raises a HUGE red flag for me at least. I have taken my dog to other daycares where they are more than willing to show you the facility as they have nothing to hide. My dog has gotten sick a number of times and they did not make the effort to even ask how she was doing when I let them know all I was told, by this lady at the front desk, was: "if you don't like it then don't bring her here...". That is not the way you answer a customer in my opinion. I have had other friends take their dog's to this facility and they have also stopped taking them here because their dog's were also constantly sick. I was also paying more in vet visits than ever before. Once I left my dog boarding for a short period of time and when I picked her up she was emaciated and sick and they claimed this was not their doing but when I left her she was perfectly fine; that time around I paid almost $3,000 in vet visits. So happy to have found and tried this place. Now our English Bulldog gets to spend all day long playing with other dogs, instead of being lonely at the house while we're at work. I use DOG for daycare and it is a godsend. The girls that work there are so sweet and my doggie child, Archie, is always happy to see them. When I pick him up, he's joyful and exhausted. My house isn't destroyed. I can't say enough good things. My only gripe would be that dogtown stays open a half hour later, which is a lot more convenient for working folks. The BEST doggy daycare and boarding. My dog is extremely active and goes here 3x a week to play with his friends and kill some energy-- he absolutely loves it. Every single member of the team is fantastic and really cares about the dogs. My dog isn't exactly thrilled when I pick him up at the end of the day (he'd prefer to stay playing haha) but he comes home tired and happy and immediately passes out.
