First of all, having a vet come to your home is FANTASTIC for any dog who experiences anxiety. Second, Dr Guzman really takes the time to bond with your dog and make you and them feel comfortable. Through conversation, he is able to pick up on how you choose to care for your pup - which, for me is very natural and minimalistic wherever possible - and based his treatment plan on that. That was my dog's first appointment with Dr. Guzman and I am very satisfied. First, he takes the time to talk to you pre-consultation on the phone, asking you questions for an idea of a possible diagnosis. If possible he will come same day, or if not next -- in my case it wasn't an emergency, so he came next. In the appt, we talked for almost an hour, and discussed not only the diagnosis of my pup, but eating habits, lifestyle, and even travel documentation and vaccines. He is not the type of vet that will add on exams to build on price, and that's important. His consultation fee is a bit higher than a regular vet, but it's well worth it -- and in the end you should spend less. He is now Nina's vet. Very happy -- thank you Dr. Guzman. read more
