Tuesday we went to the showroom and had an excellent experience with Brian our salesman who took time to go over all of the choices, prices, etc. He understood the urgency to get a new fridge ASAP. We thank Rich for getting our new fridge from NJ to our home in 1 day! We also thank Colston and Joe for their great work to install the fridge. They are knowledgeable, polite and friendly. Every person we encountered at Bergey's Electric and Showroom were terrific and that's why we are long-time customers.

He quickly understood what he thought would be necessary, said he'd pick them up the next day and, once he took them, had them fixed and ready to go in just a few days. He also brought them back with new bulbs, including one that dims (which I hadn't had before). The price was extremely reasonable and he was personable and very polite. I recommend him without reservation for your electrical needs.

I put in a request through yelp. He had the best price and moved his scheduled around to accommodate my current needs (house selling, inspections, etc) He was there early and had finished by the time he was actually supposed to be there. It was a simple outlet issue and instead of charging for the outlet, he showed me that the outlet was good just needed to be rewired. He really could have ran the price up but chose to be genuine and when you have someone like that (much like a good barber or mechanic) you don't go elsewhere and you go out of your way to tell people about them. I will certainly be contacting him on the future. Levan is based out of Newtown and really "could" charge Newtown prices but is an honest and trustworthy guy. Highly recommend. -J

This shop has a large selection of absolutely beautiful light fixtures. They stock items from 350…read moremanufacturers. Prices are very reasonable and the customer service is excellent. I prefer mom and pop shops to chain stores. Sometimes it's a bit busy in there, but you do get very personalized attention. I took 2 lamps to be repaired there and they charged me only $20 apiece. I also took a chandelier to have some work done and get cleaned up, and they did a beautiful job at a very fair price. It was far less than I expected. I needed a light for a powder room and was trying to decide on a couple. They took down the display models, wired them so I could plug them into an outlet, and let me take them home to check them out in my bathroom. They didn't charge me anything to do so! It's a good thing I did take them home, because the one I thought I preferred would nit work out there. So it was good I had the back up. That one also happened to be on sale, and I got a much better price than I expected. I bought a ceiling fan as well. Upon installing it, the motor wasn't working properly. The store ordered another to replace it. Again, they were very helpful and offered to replace it immediately.

They do not sign the contract a written signature should be on contract. Not cross out see whats enclsoed to support my concerns, Company does not send anything in e-mail like receipts and fully itemized bill. I had to ask for certains things. The company boasts over 40 years service but incident reports or I should say mine I was not satisfied. Otherwise workmanship was good. I am retired Govt contracts person and just look for a properly executed document. When I asked tech for written signature he wrote his name on top paper??? No where on incident report as they call see. Thus my rating of GOOD.

I feel very fortunate to have Energize Electric Service available for my residential electric…read moreneeds. They provide sound advice, prompt service, and very good work. I've been wanting to get a portable electric generator that would provide sufficient electricity to power important circuits in my house, should a storm cause an interruption. Dominic, of Energize Electric, came to my house to survey my electric service and ask me what parts of my house I wanted to have restored, should service be interrupted. I ordered the generator and once it was delivered to my house, we scheduled the installation of the power transfer switch and the portable generator house plug. To my delight, a crew of two electricians from Energize Electric had the transfer panel and all necessary wiring installed within a few hours. They arrived on time and when they were done with the installation, they cleaned up, and we fired up the generator. They showed me how to hook it up to the house and we tested the transferred circuits. Once I assured them that I was comfortable with the installation, and I understood how to use the generator and the power transfer switch, they excused themselves and moved on to their next job.
