But I continued on with Dr. Levenstein. I am amazed.. each treatment gave me more range of motion and less pain. I'm out of my sneakers and wearing real shoes. The debilitating pain is almost a memory. PRP for my right foot... then we work on the left. I feel normal. Knees feel great.. no more limping. no more sneakers.. For example, several years ago she measured my feet for custom inserts to treat my plantar fasciitis. She carefully explained how to break them in: one hour on the first day, two hours the next, gradually increasing until I could wear them for at least eight hours a day. She also injected pain medication into my feet (ouch!) to provide temporary relief. Thanks to her care, I eventually fully recovered. I've also seen other podiatrists at this practice during emergency visits when Dr. Papathomas wasn't available. Like her, they are highly skilled and clearly explained their diagnoses.
