The roofline would require a few complex angles and structural changes. Ray understood what it would take and pointed out several improvements for the build that would save money and add value to the project. We agreed and signed a contract. The carpenters began the work on Saturday and in 6 hours have the walls and joists up. The work continued on Monday. Adian, Juan, Homer and the crew were very fast and efficient with materials. They listened to my concerns and were very supportive. They got them whole job done by Tuesday, on time and on budget and cleaned up the site. I've had several friends over since and they were really impressed with the build quality and thoroughness. It's really nice when you show off your project and the Monday morning quarterbacks can't make any comments on how this or that should have been done better. In fact, they were so impressed they wanted 4 Brothers contact info for their own stuff. If you're a low grade DIYer like me, you want help for big jobs but you may have concerns about the honesty, craftsmanship, and communication of a builder. My husband is a disabled vet and this person did not meet his needs. In fact he has caused my husband to have daily difficulties that could have been avoided, if he had made the bathroom and the closet one and a half ft. wider for a wheelchair to move about freely. He does not have employees of his own but hires day laborers or whoever he can find. Our cat disappeared during his job here and it has never been seen again. We would never recommend him to our worst enemy. He is the best example we have ever seen of why contractors should be regulated. Do not hire him to do anything more than taking out the garbage.
