Our little group of two couples stopped here for a wine tasting when we were visiting Granbury. We each got six tastings for $12 each, plus wine glasses to take home. Each couple worked together to get different wines to taste. My husband and I got more of the fruity, sweet wines while our friends went for the dry. I have been doing business with D'Vine Wine for several years - 14 years to be exact. Every year for Christmas, I have the port made with the custom labels. I usually share a cute picture of one of my dogs. D'Vine Wines has made some errors in the past, but they always made it right. Usually, they just gave me 10% off my batch the following year. It kept me happy, and it kept them with my business. This year has been different thanks to Josh. I called and left a message that the bottles were not up to specs. For instance, the foil tops were at different heights, the labels were at different heights on the bottles, and the 375 ml bottle had different levels of wine in the bottles. So, if you set the bottles beside each other, they were all different. I use these bottles to gift family and friends at Christmas time. It was a bit embarrassing that, when I had the bottles setting out beside each other, one couldn't help but notice the discrepancies. It's like they were snowflakes in that they were all unique and different - they shouldn't be. I don't understand how 375 ml isn't the same in all the bottles. The bottles are all the same size, so the wine should be the same level in each bottle. Upon complaining about this to D'Vine Wine, I received a call from Josh. Josh made it very clear in his voice message that he would refund the entire amount of the wine, and he would come pick them up. I was to SPEAK TO HIM AND ONLY HIM WHEN I CALLED!!! He also said they never wanted to do business with me again. WOW! I felt like I was being pushed around, or "bullied" because I'm a woman. He should have heard himself in the message. Here's the problem with these bottles...they were gifts. Some of the bottles were already given away, so I never called Josh. This batch of wine was a few weeks later than what I have experienced in the past. It wasn't ordered later; it was just received later due to the lack of communication from Josh and his awesome business and people skills. I have no use for Josh! In addition to this Yelp, BBB.org will be contacted too. People need to know they are dealing with a place that only cares about your business if you're handing them a credit card with no complaints. read more

My mom fiancé and I stop in here usually every other weekend to pick up bottles of wine. All their wines are fantastic, in my opinion. If you like dry, they got it. If you like sweet, they got that too and it's some of the best sweet wines I've ever had. The Fossil Rim wines are also very good and the proceeds go to the conservation efforts of Fossil Rim. This little winery cafe is adorable! We drive out to visit every few months. We truly enjoy the service and kindness we receive from Stephanie every time we visit. The sweet wines are an indulgence so don't have dessert before your go. They also have many dry wines to choose from as well. The watermelon wine is a favorite for sure. My husband and I stopped here when we stayed in Bluff Dale for our 2nd anniversary. This winery was recommended to us by the hosts of our Airbnb. We came in and were seated right away. We were then instructed to scan the QR code to pull up the selection of wines. You get 6 tastings per person and it includes the wine glass for $12, which is really a great price for what you get! I was waiting to review until we received the bottles of wine we ended up ordering. The crimson red (pomegranate) was my absolute favorite and I told our waitress/bartender I loved how sweet and tangy it was and how much I thought it would pair well with thanksgiving dinner. She told me they had a limited edition seasonal one (sleigh ride) coming out but it wouldn't be available for purchase until mid-November. So, without even tasting it we went ahead and ordered it (along with the crimson red) since we live in San Antonio and the minimum for bottles to ship was 2. You can order just 1 but the shipping costs start at 2 bottles. Friendly bartender, fast service and very attentive. We didn't try any of the food on the menu as we were scheduled to go out to dinner, but, we hope to come back and visit again! Bottles were shipped and packaged really well, no breaks. Very laid back vibe and the staff is always super helpful and friendly. I'm no sommelier so I can't give you expert reviews on their wine. I would say it's probably geared more towards wine novices than experts. My guess is that they have the right wines for this particular market. Plenty of sweet wines to choose from that's for sure.
