The Red Velvet, German Chocolate AND Snickers Brownies are EVERYTHING!! I'm making my way down their menu!!

I ordered for delivery for the first time since I had a coupon. I would say the chocolate based brownies are pretty good (though a bit pricey for the size you get). However, the blondie and NON-CHOCOLATE based ones are a HARD PASS. I had the Sweet Tart, the Carrot Cake, and the Red Velvet of the non-chocolate . Though I guess you COULD count red velvet as a chocolate but I'm counting it as a NON for the following reason: THEY TASTED LIKE CAKE. Not the dense brownie/blondie texture I wanted, but just regular cake slices. And at 6-7 dollars a pop I would hope that they at least tasted like REALLY GOOD cake, but to me they tasted like cake along the lines of hostess/tastykake/little debbie type shelf-stable cake instead of fresh cake. Add to this the Sweet Tart had a weirdly chalky consistency and it was by far the worst offender of the group. The red velvet was the least terrible of the non-chocolate bases, but still too fluffy inside to be considered a brownie. The carrot cake was very oily, which definitely made me think shelf-stable packaged cake the most. The nutty chocolate was really good though, and the triple chocolate, while pretty basic, was solid. read more

Awesome brownies and quick pickup! The pecan pie brownies were hella bomb and the strawberry lemonade blondies were just the right amount of tart with real strawberries. We decided to try these brownies after reading all the rave reviews. First, I was taken aback when I plugged their address into my GPS and it took me to a residential area! I'm not sure how they get away with operating a business of this sort out of their home, but that made me a little skeptical. Anything that does not require permits from local health departments, etc., raise my eyebrows. They have a red blinking OPEN sign in their front window. My HOA would've shut that down real quick! But nonetheless, we were there so we decided to give the brownies a try. They brought a tray out to our car so we could see the flavors. They were all wrapped up so you couldn't really see the brownies, but we ordered based on what sounded good. We ordered the red velvet, snickers, butterscotch, and s'mores. On a scale 1-5, I would give them a 3. I wouldn't describe them as AMAZING, but they weren't bad either. The butterscotch was very dry, too salty, and did not taste very fresh. The snickers was the best, but again did not taste like it was baked THAT day. I probably won't be ordering from them again, but I think they have potential. I agree with another person who left a review on this platform - these brownies would taste much better served fresh and warm at a bakery. read more

The brownies were just ok. The texture of the brownie was good as well as the flavor. Rich and chewy. The snickers flavor was true to the snickers flavor but too much nuget. Overall, my issue was with the freshness of the brownies. I don't believe that they were cooked fresh, they appeared to be at least 2 to 3 days old. This made the top of the brownies hard. Also they did their best to package them well but the brownie toppings seat out of the plastic wrap. I think these brownies would be better if you could go directly to a store and pick them up baked fresh daily. I would not order these in the future because the brownies overall were not memorable. read more

I watch Mike Chen on his Simply Dumpling YouTube channel. In Texas, he got brownies from Da Bomb. He loved them and they looked so good, I had to order some. I've since made 4 orders to California and want to fill my freezer with them so I always have them on hand. They are beautifully packaged with a personal greeting & storage/serving instructions. They come out of the freezer fresh and delicious. I like the Peanut Butter Swirl and The Nutty, but the German Chocolate Cake is my current favorite with the perfect balance between brownie and authentic coconut-pecan topping. Um, wow. These were INCREDIBLE. We ordered three different brownies: red velvet, snickers, and Papa's Pecan Pie. And just...WOW. They were flavorful. They were ooey-gooey moist, just like I like them. The ONLY negative (other than the fact that we ate them ALL immediately) was that the cream cheese icing on the red velvet seemed to have absorbed the plastic a little and tasted very faintly off as a result. But the brownie part was perfect and the icing was great after we scraped the very top part off. The packaging was great and kept the brownies from getting squished, which would have been VERY sad.
