When you need a little treat to break up the shopping, stop in here and grab a yummy cookie. Lots of choices. Soft, chewy and big enough to share for only $4 although you probably want your own. I picked the dipped peanut butter. Service with a smile and helpful suggestions

Big delicious cookies in all sorts of flavors! They also make ICE CREAM COOKIES #outstanding dessert spot.

Frosted Sugar Cookie and Almond Glazed Cookie. Not pictured Lemon Glazed and Orange Glazed Cookies.

This place has the best cookies. Cookies are so soft and thick. Not super sweet. Just right and flavorful. First visited in Feb. 2025 and bought various cookies. It was so good that here I am again today - April 23, 2025. Got in this morning from Las Vegas and first and only stop on the way to Waco. Service was good. So patient with me asking all sorts of questions.

Loved the cookies! And they're reasonable at about $4 for a very large cookie. I spent about $45 on 5 half cookie ice cream sandwiches and 2 cookies. You can make an ice cream sandwiches from the smaller or larger cookies or half a large cookie. We did half cookies. I could barely eat half of that. The Panda is so good! Super chocolately but not overly rich. The cookie of the month was the Jake which is their famous cookies n cream cookie with cheesecake. I asked if they had a "plain" cookies n cream and the employee said they don't offer one. This confused me since it's "famous." The orange snickerdoodle was a must try. I loved the flavor but it was slightly too sweet.

WOW! These were some excellent cookies! A group of girlfriends and I were up in McKinney for the arts festival and just happened to see this shop and I am so glad we did! I chose the peanut butter cookie with chocolate dip on one side and almond iced sugar cookie. And man they were GOOD. Big cookies! I would pick this shop over another cookie like crumbl anyday!

These are hands down the best cookies in DFW. Anytime my sister and I are in downtown McKinney we always finish our day here. We usually get the almond sugar cookies, which are amazing, but today we tried an icing filled cookie and a lemon doodle cookie and both were perfect. The cookies are so soft and they are the size of your face. The only issue is that I never know which cookie to order!

    The Jake- oreo cheescake cookie

Every time I come to Downtown McKinney area, I make sure to plan on getting the Jake from Mary's for dessert. The Jake is available only at this McKinney location as far as I know and is named after a local legend. This delicious cookie with oreo and cheeslives rent free in my mind. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The cute, bakery-style cookie shop is super fun and the ice cream is amazing too![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The workers are always very kind and courteous. Definitely recommend. Just don't buy the last Jake and leave none for me!

    Yum!

TLDR: LOVE the place, highly recommend. Make sure to have your order repeated back to you!…read more My husband and I love this place. Clean, friendly, homey. Smells like fresh baked bread and goodies every time you open the door. Pastries are SO WORTH IT. They also have seasonal items: - super tangy passion fruit/pineapple danish -refreshing tomato basil danish -fun lemon/raspberry meringue danish We love the ham and cheese croissant too(year round) Giving it 5 stars because we still love it. But had a bad customer service experience today. Ordered a bunch of pastries for 2. We were asked by cashier if we wanted our "tomato danish and elote danish to be heated" Us: "yes, except the tomato danish, pls" Paid and tipped. All was dandy. Went to a table to patiently wait when my husband realized they didn't add the tomato danish(about 1 minute after transaction) He had to get back in line to ask what the mix up was and order it again. Cashier told him she misunderstood that we "didn't want the tomato danish". We didn't get the danish because it sold out (Understandably so, it's super yummy) while my husband was in line. As folks from the industry, we understand mishaps can happen, we still love this place and will still come back. This experience was just disappointing and could have been completely avoided. In the future maybe have cashiers repeat orders back. Which is usually normal for most/all food related businesses.

The crust is made from sourdough, and the cheese, sauce, everything about it is just amazing. All of their pastries are delicious too, but I honestly go for the pizza. It has this crispy, thin sourdough crust, and I normally don't even eat pizza crust, but I eat every bite of this one. The people there are also so friendly and helpful. I believe the owner helped me today and offered to expedite my whole pizza so I didn't have to wait long. Amazing service! Highly recommend!

I also tried two of the sandwich options one was the veggie sandwich and the other was the pizza grilled cheese sandwich, my favorite sandwich was the veggie sandwich. My son had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and loved it. What stands out most is their commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients without cheap fillers or preservatives. The breads are flavorful and wholesome though occasionally a bit firm if not baked that same day, which is expected with preservative free baking. I've learned to time my visits with their baking schedule to get the freshest, softest loaves. The service is always friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting -- like a cozy mom-and-pop deli. The shop is clean and also offers a charming selection of extras like local honey, jams, tea towels, sourdough starters, pizza dough, olives, and pickled veggies. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and care put into their products. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for freshly baked goods and a welcoming local experience.

After a lot of research I found these guys and I was so inspired by the story that the mom and daughter started the company together because they were dealing with the same severe gluten intolerance! Knowing that there's no risk of cross-contamination that could ruin my friend's party weekend would have already been worth the expense, but omg these cupcakes were INCREDIBLE! All the girls were shocked they were "gluten free" because they're so moist and decadent and delicious! I have no idea what magical witchcraft these ladies are using to make GF bread items taste like gourmet cupcakes, but we absolutely loved them! Top tier favorites were definitely the carrot cake, strawberry, and this cupcake of the week that had apples inside (seriously so good). But honestly they were all winners, and I personally loved the lemon one a lot. I also really appreciated them going the extra mile when I ordered so that they were frozen and ready for a 3 hour drive to our cabin when I picked them up on the scheduled day. It's that kind of customer service and kindness that makes me want to go back, even though I'm not GF! My friend liked them so much she's even thinking of grabbing a cake for the wedding, so that should give you a hint of just how good these baked goods are! I'd give 10 stars if I could!
