Magnolia & Fig provides a light and pleasant space to shop for clothing, accessories, and other knickknacks. We were greeted warmly by the attendant, and she gives us the option to browse or asked us if we were looking for something specific. Once we told her what my friend was looking for and her size, the attendant got right to work, pulling dresses for her to try from the racks. We were brought eight or 10 different dresses to try in a small but nicely decorated fitting area. The two employees worked together to bring us outfits to try, giving us space and time to try each one, but giving opinions and thoughts, when asked to. They were very kind patient and efficient. They were sensitive to the needs of my friend as related to her disability without talking down to her or making her feel out of place. It was a very positive experience and we found the perfect dress for my friend's event. In the store, you will find lots of ladies clothing options in addition to some jewelry, hats, shoes and even pretty things for the home. I think my friend paid about $150 for the gorgeous dress and the earrings that she purchased. And I love how Six Sisters has expanded into consignment as well. There was a fun mix of more expensive, new items and some great condition, used clothes as well. They range from casual to formal -- I even saw a few bathing suits. Six Sixters had a full range of sizes. There were several great Derby dresses to choose from, plus Six Sisters is selling several fascinators to go with them. Add in the great accessories and shoes, and you can come away with a whole look! My SIL bought several items while we were there. There are several locations, and this one is located in the Hamburg area near Tractor Supply as a landmark. The drop off is on the right hand side of the building and can pull up and employees will collect the donated goods. They have signage directing where to enter the single drop off lane. There are also posted signs listing what can and cannot be donated. Staff are polite and helpful. I have not been inside the building or made a purchase to this point, so I cannot comment on that aspect of this business. I do know that the mission statement has been to sell donated items and then to utilize those funds to assist victims of abuse, which has our support 100%. (Side note: I also choose to donate here rather than at another specific well known charitable drop-off site which has high prices and high administrative costs, resulting in less funds going to the people it claims to serve.)

Like I understand policy is policy, but there was still someone checking out at the self check out, and both of the workers had logged out of their personal registers before that person was even done checking out. I just feel like that is irresponsible. What if there was an issue with the order and from a company perspective that is just really not customer service friendly. I would understand if I got up to the front after closing, but I literally got up there when I was supposed to and I still was not allowed to check out and I was really excited to get those treats for my cat and my dog because I've been working all day and there's literally nowhere else to go. I usually only go to Meijer for doing orders or because it's the only place open late. That's a full grocery store. It is very pricey. I don't feel like it's as cheap as other grocery stores and now that other stores are open till 11. I will just go there because the way that I felt tonight there wasn't even an apology from any of the workers or anything so I don't want to put any more money in this business.
