Love this place! Compared to other juice bars in the area, this is definitely my go-to. I usually order through DoorDash, and the service and quality are always consistent. I've also stopped in a few times, and the employees are extremely friendly and helpful when it comes to deciding what to order. One of the more unique items on the menu is the breakfast burrito--they use mashed potatoes instead of the usual home fries or diced potatoes. It's unexpected, but it actually works really well since you get potato in every bite. The acai bowls are by far my favorite. You can fully customize them to your liking, which is a huge plus. I came here via car on a Wednesday afternoon in mid-June 2024. I parked in the public parking structure one block South of the store. It was a paid parking structure but it was free for me since I was in and out in under 20 minutes. I walked from the parking structure to the juice bar, and when I got there, only one person was ahead of me. I ordered their medium Acai smoothie since I wanted a banana, blueberry, and apple juice smoothie but figured this version would be a nice meal replacement. FYI, they do not take American Express. The drink was $11.02 for their 22oz cup. The drink was ready quickly and they had individually wrapped plastic straws at the counter next to the drink pick-up area. I picked up a straw, unwrapped it, and placed it in my drink as I walked out back to my car taking my first sips of the drink. I noticed that it tasted very like alcohol - kind of like when a fruit is on its way out. The drink was okay but it was definitely not what I expected. I hoped the drink would get better but it never did. I barely drank any of it and tossed it when I got home. At least my parking was free. I visited Da Juice Bar after my Saturday gym class. The establishment is located next to Porto's. I initially wanted to get Porto's for a sandwich, but the line was outrageous (like always). But it all worked out! Da Juice Bar had breakfast burritos which was delicious. It had crispy bacon, sausage, potatoes, eggs and cheese. i added avocadoes, because I had to treat myself for going to the gym on a Saturday morning! It's been years since I've been to Da Juice Bar (I used to work in the area) and boy how I've missed it! Their breakfast burrito is so delicious and not overly large... just the perfect size. Drizzle the orange hot sauce on top and it's just perfection. Their acai bowl is equally delicious with 2 scoops of acai, topped with granola, strawberries and bananas. The best part is that the acai is frozen pretty solid so it travels well and isn't acai "soup" by the time you reach your destination. When I got home it was the perfect consistency. The prices are very high though... a breakfast burrito and acai bowl came out to over $30! I went back the next day and got just an acai bowl and the listed price said $13.50 and I ended up paying $20 with tip. The math definitely wasn't math-ing. More like 3.5 stars for tasty food, portion, and price. The small storefront has only 2-3 small tables in the front and a couple of chairs inside to sit on while waiting for your order. No one seems to eat there, but we observed lots of foot traffic for to-go orders. You can even order ahead for pickup. Da Juice Bar's huge eclectic menu reminded me of an independent Jamba, but more inventive and with cafe food options. FOOD ORDERED - Breakfast burrito ($9.50). A normal sized burrito, not a massive baby that needs to be saved for the next day. When we cut it open, it looked gray and sad, especially the large mound of mashed potatoes (not mentioned on the photo ad) in relation to the egg and bacon. Eating it straight, the burrito tasted better (3 stars) than it looked (2 stars). The mashed potato itself wasn't too wet or dry, and it was seasoned. However, adding the green salsa put it over the top. The salsa was a concentrated flavor EXPLOSION: garlicky, savory, mildly spicy, with a depth of roasted flavor. The mashed potato transformed into the perfect vehicle for the sauce. With the sauce, it's really good. I think the red sauce was just an asian chili sauce on the sweeter side; skip it and ask for extra green sauce! - Avocado toast ($10). A hefty slice of chewy sourdough bread (light on the fermented flavor) with avocado puree, balsamic diced tomato, alfalfa sprouts, and feta cheese. I wasn't expecting the sweet and sour balsamic; it was good, but a touch too sweet. It was surprisingly filling. Overall, not bad, but I would have prefer a more rustic mashed avocado. read more

I love this place. I come here at least once a week, sometimes more. I usually get the Body Cleaner juice or the Green Juice. Body Cleaner does just that lol Green Juice is my favorite, with green apple. If you are feeling smoothie, I would recommend the green smoothie ;) I've had their breakfast burrito 10/10, Spicy chicken wrap 10/10, Spicy chicken sandwich (9/10, I prefer wrap) and their chinese chicken salad (ADD EXTRA CHICKEN 10/10). I have no complaints for any. They are all good choices to get, depending on what you prefer. I have also tried their Acai bowl which is tasty as well! I am giving it 4/5 stars because of location, parking is pretty hard at times to find fast (Portos is their neighbor). Also prices are pretty high (especially for the juices/smoothies). Finally, I do enjoy their sauces (green and orange sauce- not too spicy but very flavorful), but the packaging is too small and I love a lot of sauce on my items. Just fantastic. A Glendale institution that has been here for decades. One of the few places you can get TRUE pitaya (not just dragonfruit; there IS a difference) or acai smoothies. I like that business about using good water in everything. That is an important factor often overlooked and shows that they are really on their health-conscious game. Another thing they have that I like are air-fried empanadas. The jalapeno and cheese ones are really good (But they need to have more of them ready!) and come with tasty sauces including a nice salsa verde. I would eat these over the genuine Agentinian ones down the street because of the lack of oil involved! I hadn't been here since the nineties or so (not for any reason, I just kinda forgot about them) and popped in to get a drink during Glendale's annual Cruise Night. As I ordered, I realied that the smart, cute, efficient girl that had always worked there is now a smart, cute, efficient lady, and she recognized my age-wizened face right away! I've passed this place so many times on the way to and from the various businesses on Brand, and I'm thrilled I finally had the insight to stop by for a filling, delicious, and plentiful açaí bowl! You can customize your bowl beyond the basic three toppings: strawberries, banana slices, and granola (which contains almonds and gluten). Every additional topping is $1-$2 more. I actually thought the bowl on its own was exceptional, which gets me to the size. The bowl is filled to the brim and comes in a ~10" takeout container. Unfortunately, these bowls have become so trendy, especially in LA, that it's more common than not to get skimped out on a good portion of food. That was sure not the case here and I was very happy about it. My only note: the açaí mixture was still pretty frozen when I got home about 5 minutes after I picked up my order. I left it out and after 15 minutes it was much creamier. I came in at 9:30am on a Saturday and my order was ready within 10 minutes. All the parking on Brand is metered, and although it's tempting to park your car and run in knowing it won't take you long, I wouldn't risk the ticket. read more

I'm used to smoothie bars at the gym that I go to and other chains like Jamba, Nekter, etc. The taste was quite pleasant and it didn't taste chalky or overwhelmingly thick like how most protein smoothies would come out. The menu board seems a little chaotic. It took me some time to figure out which items were in which category and which add ons would be applicable to which items. To the common customer I can see where it can get overwhelming when placing an order. Otherwise the place is nestled in a busy area of Glendale. It's a smaller establishment so it feels more personable with the staff. Nothing too special but nothing horrible either.
