Her mom must have been drunk when she named her that!) Was chit chatting with.... "Gertrude". (Name changed, obv. She has a super adorable real old days name irl.) So wow, Gertrude and ALWGC4HC (what a pretty acronym! Just rolls off the keyboard like buttah! Ok, henceforth, she shall be referred to as Awesome.) Dang. Anyway, Gertrude and Awesome were chatting, and Awesome is a-freaking-mazing. Just genuinely sincere and... Awesome! Gertrude decided she wants to see Awesome every week. I know! Fascinating stuff, right?! Here's where Awesome first showed her sparkling luster. Awesome carefully helped her mentally through which days of the week might not be good for Gertrude, based on things like a senior food delivery, when her adult daughter comes to town to help her out, etc. Finally they decided on a day; by now I was nearly in tears at the awesomeness and thoroughness of Awesome. She cares about her clients so much, she can't hide it. So then it was my turn. She remembered my name! I only told her it on the phone when I booked the appointment. And etc, she is the real freaking deal. She is giving me a ride a mile back to my semi when she is done, because she can't bear the thought of me walking on the rain with a fresh new dye job I adore this place. Adding it to my truck GPS and requesting a load through OK to Waco once a month from now on. Update; I LOOK FREAKING AMAZING!!

Not only is she incredibly skilled with hair, but she's also warm, professional, and made me feel so comfortable the entire time. My hair looks amazing--I've gotten so many compliments already! The salon itself is very nice inside--clean, welcoming, and stylish. It was packed when I went, which just shows how loved this place is! I also loved that they even offer candy, such a sweet touch that made the visit extra enjoyable. While Sweet Mia doesn't have dry pedicures, it was a great compromise. They use individual copper bowls for each customer that are removed and thoroughly cleaned with alcohol and barbicide. The salon itself is clean and soothing, with thoughtful textures (e.g., woven baskets and lampshades, plants, and other wood elements). Instead of the usual bulky massage chairs, they have comfortable reclining seats. My classic pedicure included a massage with hot stones and towel wraps.
