Been here a couple times, very pleased with everything about the place. It's got good pastries, good sandwiches, coffee is locally roasted and most of the blends I've had I enjoyed. They place emphasis on local, which is something Toledo severely lacks. I like that they source a lot of their products from nearby, it encourages me to go out of my way to come out here. They were hinting at expanding soon, further south which I think would be great to see. There's not enough good local coffee shops in Toledo, but at least I've found one of them. read more

There are few places in the area that offer an artisanal coffee experience. DaCapo has a lot of unique coffee drinks all made in house with ultra-friendly service. The atmosphere is also an attractive aspect of this cafe. They offer several filter/pour over coffee options that are all good -- I got the Ethiopian this morning (regular not filter) and it was perfectly brewed, not burnt, with just the right hints of fruitiness and acidity. I'm very picky when it comes to filter coffee and DaCapo has never disappointed. Their espresso-based drinks are also solid. I have to get an extra shot of espresso in my Starbucks drinks because of their milk to espresso ratios and how sweet their milk is, but I don't need any extra shots at DaCapo. Their drinks taste perfect as is. The ambiance is a 10/10. The interior is nicely decorated (modern, with art on the walls), super clean, yet cozy! It's perfect for meeting up with friends or hanging by yourself to read. This is THE BEST place in Bedford to buy a coffee drink. Great food, ambiance, and service! read more

This is one of those nice, small-hometown types of coffee shops that will always keep you coming back for more. It's a family owned business where, more often than none, the owners can prepare your order. Not to mention, that this is nice and needed change from the industrial ran places like Starbucks. Needless to say, they have a great staff that are very nice and helpful. And more importantly make you feel welcomed at every visit. The atmosphere has a modern/ abstract feel to it. What I mean by that is that the place looks freshly built, and kept up well. But sitting in there, you feel like it is almost a peice of art. (Not to mention all of the local art they having hanging up) The walls are colorful, the tables are unique, and all together make a unique experience you won't find anywhere else. There food and coffee has around the same cost of your local Starbucks, so it is a little pricy. But your paying for a quality that you don't typically see these days. I guarantee you won't walk out feeling ripped off or hungry! I recommend there sandwhichs and any pastry that catches your eye. Literally, everything is good. read more

Incredibly disappointed in the staff today. After having an interview scheduled at 11am they called me at six in the morning to tell me my interview was cancelled because one of their employees said I'd worked with them before (at somewhere I've never worked, let alone shopped at) and made up some story about poor performance. After trying to reason with the manager Jacob about it potentially being a case of mistaken identity and that if he told me when she said I had worked at this other place I could prove that I was working somewhere else, his only response was "no, I'm good." One of the best drinks (oat milk latte with cinnamon) I've ever had. So smooth! At a lakehouse airbnb with some friends and just wanted some coffee to start our morning, so glad that we found DaCapo. Went there two times so far- The first time the woman working there did not know what I meant by an iced mocha latte..and I had to explain it to her. However, the people there are EXTREMELY friendly and make you feel comfortable. I had one guy ask me how my service was and if everything tasted okay. The coffee is okay, nothing special. The second time I went was better, I asked for an iced mocha frappe which they informed me was made with powder which was kind of a turnoff... it tastes pretty good though. Overall good, friendly, and clean place. If they baristas knew more about coffee and how to prepare it I would probably give this place a higher rating. read more

This is my favorite coffee place. I've been coming here since it opened, and it's come a long way since then. The very first time I went I wasn't sure what to order, so the owner fixed me a drink of his choosing that I loved. They now offer so many choices that it's almost overwhelming, but that's a good thing. As much as I've been here, I've never been bored with the menu. The sandwiches are quite good, as is the bubble tea, and the scones are the best I've had from any cafe. The flavors of some of their baked goods changes frequently, so it's fun to go in and see what new offerings they have. The staff is always friendly, and even when it's really busy the wait isn't too unreasonable. I love the atmosphere in here and it's a great place to sit and get work done. I only wish there was more seating because it can get really crowded in the mornings, but that's true of any good coffee place. If you want a good local place, I suggest trying Da Capo. If you go on a day when they have the ginger peach scones, definitely try one! read more

This place is awesome! Skip over the other mainstream coffee shops for this one. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They actually take the time to make a good cup of coffee or a nice hot cup of hot chocolate. The baked goods are made fresh each day and are a rare treat and a rare find (especially in Bedford!). I had a cappuccino and a muffin on my most recent visit and both were amazing! My friends had a donut and cup of hot chocolate and they were both great! I highly recommend DaCapo's! read more
