Come in." and held the door for us. He gave us menus and glow sticks and went back to work. Very fun encounter. The place is tiny and has serious personality. The cover band and decorations were impeccable. It does get cramped as the night goes on so it may not be everyone's cup of tea. Our drinks took maybe 10 minutes because there was an issue with one of the ingredients but the bartender gave us complimentary shots to make up for it (totally not needed, but definitely appreciated). I remember drinking the pear vodka cocktail in 2022 and was so happy to see it on the menu when I returned this year. The vibe is low key, friendly and very comfortable. We snagged some bar space during the event and our bartenders were friendly, welcoming and were very knowledgeable about the different liquors and distillery. Shout out to Tina and all the mixologists. My favorite one is the pear: pear nectar, ginger beer, pea vodka and cinnamon. I also loved the lychee cocktail. If I had ubered, I would have tried more sadly. They don't serve food but you are allowed to order in and there's even a pizza place right across the public entrance. You can park across the street in the municipal lot for free. if I lived closer, I'd be at the Garden State Distillery a lot!

Not to mention if you bring in a receipt for any keyport eatery between Monday and Thursday you get 20% off your total for helping support local businesses. Ordering is very easy as there is a QR code at each table. You can place individual or group orders as well as start or close a tab. This is so convenient that you never have to go up to the bar and wait. They just released a rewards program for purchasing and then returning used bottles to help recycle, reduce, and reuse.
