I went to see a friend's band play here and there was only one bartender and the owner acting as bartender with 40-50 people trying to order drinks. Drink selections are interesting but some were weak. When I tried to close out I was presented with a very high bill on a tablet without being shown a breakdown of my order. So I asked to see it and they had to cancel the bill in order for me to see it. Good thing I checked because I was charged for 2 drinks I didn't order which were $15 each! If you go here CHECK THE BILL! I doubt I'll return.

I remember drinking the pear vodka cocktail in 2022 and was so happy to see it on the menu when I returned this year. The vibe is low key, friendly and very comfortable. We snagged some bar space during the event and our bartenders were friendly, welcoming and were very knowledgeable about the different liquors and distillery. Shout out to Tina and all the mixologists. My favorite one is the pear: pear nectar, ginger beer, pea vodka and cinnamon. I also loved the lychee cocktail. If I had ubered, I would have tried more sadly. They don't serve food but you are allowed to order in and there's even a pizza place right across the public entrance. You can park across the street in the municipal lot for free. if I lived closer, I'd be at the Garden State Distillery a lot!

When you drive past, you might not exactly know it's there- almost looks like a warehouse or closed shop when passing by. It is dark and gives speak-easy vibes. When you enter, it looks like you time traveled into the old USSR with Soviet decor. We had the horseradish shots (spicy to the perfect level- not the kind that makes your nose burn), my husband had some kind of hibiscus or fruity drink, and I had the extra dirty martini. LOVED the pickle stuffed olives that came with my drink. I selected the gin, but would opt for the vodka version next time to see if I could taste more olives. Our server was incredibly friendly, and when we asked about bloody Mary's, he mentioned that on certain weekends for $25 you can pay to get in and drink bloody Mary's and have Oysters. We will certainly be coming by to try! Overall, such a unique, off the beaten path experience. 10/10 recommend.

I've been coming to three of you for a while, and I've always really loved the experience. The complexity of the drinks and the thought that goes into them is really appealing to me, and I think it's worth the price of the drinks, given all that goes into them. The staff here is all super friendly, and the environment is incredibly chic. They recently added more couches, and it truly has a lounge feel, which I think is really lovely. Recently, I needed to host a private event, and I knew they had experience hosting events, so I reached out to Maks to book my celebration. The planning part of this process was extremely smooth. Max was very responsive, making it very easy, and they were flexible with the details. As for the price, I thought it was very reasonable, and I rented the entire space, which I considered a good deal. The start of the day of the party was invaluable; they arrived early to set up, which allowed me to set up what I needed as well. My guest had really great interactions with the staff, and they truly loved the environment, the drinks, and I know they had fun talking with the bartenders, which made the experience worthwhile in my opinion. Thank you, 3 BR, for helping me celebrate some tremendous milestones in my life. If you need to book a private event, I would recommend checking out this place first and speaking with the staff. I don't think you would regret booking a private event with them, as I would not hesitate to do it again. .

Manhattan's first legal whiskey distillery since Prohibition, serving bourbon, rye, great food, and enough old-school vibes to make you feel like a Wall Street gangster on his day off. A few pours later, I was nodding at jazz, discussing whiskey notes I definitely couldn't identify, and confidently telling people, "Yes, I taste the Black Dirt region." Turns out whiskey isn't just a drink--it's a personality trait.

I was walking by with someone and the place looked very cool inside, so we went in planning to have a few drinks at the upstairs bar. It started out quiet and relaxed with a really nice vibe, but then, out of nowhere, an extremely obnoxious drag show began and completely killed the atmosphere. It completely disrupted the mood we went there for. To be clear, I do not have anything against drag shows. I have been to several and they are usually fun, but this one felt out of place and poorly done. We had already ordered food, so we were basically stuck, otherwise we would have just paid for our drinks and left. Instead, we were trapped and finally ended up rushing through our appetizers just to get out of there, we finished our drinks very quickly, and left. It is a shame, because the space is beautiful and has a lot of potential, but I am not sure what they are trying to be. EDIT: This is why I ended up fully at 1 star and in response to their reply. The drinks were okay, but not great. The cocktail menu felt very one-dimensional. I understand they are a distillery and bourbon is their focus, but there should be more variety beyond whiskey-based options. The food was also unremarkable. We had the crudo, which was just okay, and the spinach and artichoke dip, which was bland unless you added a fair amount of salt. Nothing was terrible, just very average. In their response to my review, they claimed there were signs announcing the drag show, but we did not see any signs indicating that a drag show would be taking place. If there had been any clear notice, we would have gone elsewhere, because we specifically wanted a quiet, relaxing place to decompress. The restaurant was closed for a private event, so the bar was our only option. The show itself was not well executed. The "lighting" was someone waving a flashlight around, including directly into my eyes, which was extremely annoying. I understand it is Pride Month and I support that, but this felt out of place for the setting, had no real warning, and was simply not good entertainment.

Here's a polished, vivid English review based on your visit and the menu you shared:…read more Reckless Town Farm Distillery - A Flavor-Forward Experience Worth Savoring My wife and I had an outstanding experience at Reckless Town Farm Distillery, a place that truly treats cocktails as a craft. From the first sip, it was clear that this distillery doesn't just mix drinks -- they design flavors. We both started with the Coffee Old Fashioned, made with Windy Lane Bourbon, coffee syrup, and black walnut bitters, and it was easily a 10/10. What made it special wasn't just the smooth bourbon, but the way the coffee came through -- rich, toasted, and lingering. You could actually feel the coffee beans at the end of each sip, almost like a gentle espresso finish layered over the warmth of bourbon. It was bold but elegant. I then tried the Red Arrow, built on Dust Settler Vodka, ginger liqueur, blood orange cordial, lemon juice, saffron syrup, Aleppo bitters, and Yellow #9 spice. This cocktail is a dream for anyone who enjoys something warm, aromatic, and slightly sweet. The blood orange and saffron bring a deep, exotic sweetness, while the ginger and bitters add a spicy glow that makes the drink feel comforting and complex at the same time -- almost like a winter cocktail with a Mediterranean twist. Later, I sampled their jalapeño-infused vodka, which was vibrant, clean, and spicy without being aggressive -- perfect for cocktail lovers who enjoy a little heat with their spirits. My wife went with the Southern Santa, a beautifully layered drink made with Windy Lane Bourbon, curaçao, orgeat (almond), lemon and lime juices, gingerbread syrup, and ginger-chai bitters. It was absolutely delicious. The citrus brightens the drink, while the gingerbread and chai spices wrap everything in a cozy, holiday-like warmth. The orgeat adds a silky, nutty finish that ties everything together -- exotic, festive, and incredibly well balanced. What really sets Reckless Town apart is their fearless use of spices, botanicals, and house-made syrups -- saffron, gingerbread, chai, almond, blood orange, and even chili heat -- all blended with precision. Nothing tastes artificial or rushed; every drink feels intentional and layered. If you love creative cocktails with bold, unexpected flavors, Reckless Town Farm Distillery is a must-visit. It's the kind of place where every glass tells a story -- warm, spicy, citrusy, smooth, and unforgettable.
