I placed an order with DACK Outdoors over 8 weeks ago, spending around $400 on ammo and accessories. Their site says shipping can take up to 30 days -- which I was fine with -- but it's now been double that. Still no shipment, no tracking, and no straight answers. The real issue: they advertise and sell items they don't actually have in stock. That's misleading at best. It takes them nearly two weeks just to respond to a simple email, and there's no phone support whatsoever. Meanwhile, my suppressor order and paperwork (which usually takes forever) was processed faster than getting ammo and a muzzle device from these guys. You pay for what you don't pay for. I thought I would save a few dollars on a 10mm pistol but after receiving a message that it might take 30 days to deliver, I had tried numerous times to cancel the order but you truly can NOT speak to anyone. To make things worse, their email responses are equally awful. If you send them a message and they do NOT respond so you send them another message, then you get sent to the BACK of the email line. I lie not, it's in writing. Eight days after putting the order in and after receiving notice it would take 30 days to receive my order it has taken this many days to cancel my order. BTW, my order still hasn't been canceled. My next move is to contact my credit card company to cancel the order. Now in all fairness, they do tell you upfront they are slow but...30 days is crazy. I genuinely looked forward to purchasing from Dack Outdoors, but unfortunately, they fell far short of expectations. An order was placed with them after a search on AmoSeek for 2 boxes of Hornady Bullets.  Three weeks later, I hadn't received a ship date even though my credit card had already been charged.  After contacting them, I was informed that their policy on their website, states it could take up to 30 days for them to ship the product.  To add insult to injury, they then pointed out that I must have missed that notice on their website and that it is clearly spelled out in their FAQs. While they responded to my emails, it felt like little effort was put into ensuring a good customer experience. I filed a dispute with AMEX and am currently wairing for that process to complete to settle this matter with Dack Outdoors.  Additionally, I filed a complaint with the BBB, which has given them an F rating, and a complaint with AmmoSeek. In further correspondence with them, they claim that a refund cannot be issued now because a dispute has arisen. On June 19, 2025, Amex informed me they reached out to Dack Outdoors and had not received a reply.  Stay away from this business. Stating that shipping time may be up to 30 days has a considerable downside for a credit card purchase. DackOutdoor customer service was quick to reply to inquiries I sent direct to them about the status of my order, BUT I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING OTHER THAN 'PLEASE BE PATIENT'. So I went to my credit card company at 31 days and started a dispute. Having read a number of reviews saying that a product was never received, I wanted to be sure I would get a refund (if the $26 hardware piece) if the product was never delivered. I don't understand the substantial delay for a none firearm purchase that is listed as "In Stock" and continues to be advertised as available for purchase while I'm waiting for mine to be shipped. I have video doorbell showing no delivery. Nothing appeared in my USPS Informed Delivery account for that day either. Emailed them multiple times. They ask me to contact the USPS, but I do not have anything to deal with USPS. How can I ask USPS to do anything about something that was not delivered to my address. Contacted my credit card company and they agreed to take on this case even though the charge has been more than 90 days. I'm always looking for discounts; however, even letting them float my money for 30 days, they have more and more reported back out of stock items, sometimes the very reason I placed the order. The last two times they have gone 45+ days without fulfilling the order, and when I cancelled, I had to file a dispute with my credit card because they had not posted credit - a 2-month float on my money is a racket IMHO.
