While the staff later claimed his refusal was due to a past injury, there was absolutely no excuse for that type of behavior--especially since I told them I was willing to accommodate the shoes-on policy once they explained it. The technician did return to my door to apologize a few minutes later, but the initial level of rudeness was a total dealbreaker. I did not feel comfortable moving forward with the service.
