This is so bad because they're parked right outside the bars and smell sooo good! When you're drunk it's a dangerous game! I was visiting from out of town and heard I had to try it. I got the Big Daddy's and they do not mess around! It literally is a huge hot dog with pickles, jalepeno, cream cheese, and daddy's sauce. It's smothered all over and the bun is toasted so you get an amazing crunch. The employees were extremely nice and cracked jokes with me! Whoever "Daddy" is, he does not mess around with his dogs!!

If you want a good hot dog piled with a lot extra stuff that will fill you up then this is your spot lol. The service was pretty quick and the young lady was super nice! The food was filling and I only ate one. They have many options to choose from so I'm sure you will find one you want to try. Side note, this is a mobile hot dog stand so be prepared to eat on the move. So, stop by and tell them I sent you. Lol not sure if it will mean anything but it always sound good on tv.. Live, laugh and Eat

This hot dog stand was built up by so many drunk people at Winners I was so stoked I held my hungry appetite for two hours before they got there. Maybe it was a bad night for the guy working but he arrived over 30 min late and then wouldn't make eye contact or explain what was happening to anyone. We ended up going back into the bar and listening to Whiskey Jam tunes then coming back out in another 30 min. Mind you, I haven't eaten since around 11 am that day and am completely famished. We finally order and I go for the Loner Dog which is the most basic weiner they have. Literally: Bun + dog + ketchup, mustard & relish. How can you go wrong? He finished making my 3 friends and my hot dog in a very quick manner which was awesome but also kind of lame because my buns were cold and hard yet had char marks on them. So the effort was there to toast them just a little rushed and tasted pretty terrible. The dog itself wasn't bad so I ended up taking off the bun and just eating the messy mustard covered dog itself. It was super acidic and probably not worth waiting hours for, but it fed me for $5 and my friends loved their crazy Big Daddy masterpiece dogs. Would love to see them improve their bun quality and maybe add a couple healthier options on there like grilled or pickled veggies on top a chicken dog, kind of thing.

I'm more of a ketchup or mustard or chili cheese hot dog person but this right here was so good. It has a spear pickle, jalapeños, cream cheese, bacon, onions, and some special sauce. Amazing. Definitely out of my comfort zone.

I'm on a quest to try 'em all at Daddy's Dogs as my alter ego: Nash Ketchup. Daddy's Dogs was a place that I never expected that I would fall in love with because "It's just hot dogs" I thought. After trying their "Big Daddy," I realized that I was still young and naive and have much to learn. They have about 6-7 varieties of Hot Dogs with a bunch of amazing toppings on them. Everything is made to order, so eating the whole thing becomes a messy and hot experience. The only bad thing about their dogs is that there's so much stuff on it, that it's hard to eat! (Which is such a first world thing to complain about.) This is the perfect drunk and sober food. They open late too, so if the 1AM hot dog cravings hit, this is the place to go. (if you check in, you get 50%!)

Right across from Winners/Losers bar you will find Daddy's Dogs. A little tent selling... you guessed it. HOTDOGS! When you walk/stumble out of any of the neighboring bars you are immediately met with the mouthwatering scent of a daddy's dog! The grilled onions will not be ignored! I had to stop! Lol I decided to go with the music city dog which is a hotdog topped with bacon, cheddar cheese, grilled onion and Bbq sauce. Let's just say they already had me at Bacon but the minute I took that first bite.... I was completely sold! Daddy's dogs are made fresh with ALL beef and local made grilled buns. So damn good! This is probably the best hotdog I have ever had. So juicy with the meat cooked to perfection. You can not go wrong with a daddy dog! If you are in Nashville, be sure to stop here! Way more than your average hotdog! Thank you Daddy's Dogs!!!

Must try BigDaddy!!! with its secret Daddy's sauce. I ate a whole one on my own. I waited for its opening for more than 2 hours, but I still want to go one more time some day. I never thought I would fall in love with a Hotdog and want to try it everyday! Hopeflly, it could open on time next time.

Man. Let me tell you... This place is delicious and spot on. The dogs here are plumb and juicy. You have various of choices to choose from. I think around 8-10 choices if i remembered correctly. I had the Chicago Dog and a New Yorker. I can't remember the proper name but both were superb. I almost wanted to get another one but it was already late and didn't want to regret it later at the gym for over eating. My friend ordered the Big Daddy Dog. I took a bite and man it was 'slap yo mama' delicious. Its conveniently located a few steps from Kung Fu Saloon. I would recommend you visit here after a long night of drinking to soak up some of that booze you ingested. Rock on you guys!

Don't bother going anywhere else after the bar if there is a Daddy's Dogs around you. The best thing to eat for lunch, drunk, baby drunk or just hungry after the bar. I wish I got more than one, but they're pretty big. I also wish I hit this place up more than once while I was visiting. Best hot dog I've ever had and if you're around, this is a MUST! If there is a line (which there will be) this is worth the wait!

This place serves the best hot dogs ever! I like the creativity that went into their menu. Every dog has a different targeted flavor and they're named after US cities. I ate here three years ago in Nashville and it was one of my main focuses when I visited this time around. I snagged a sweet coozie too for my beer! Big daddy is such a friendly dude, I love running into him around town

The hot dog is so amazing. I had the Nashville one. It has bacon, hotdog and cheddar cheese. Very yummy, but be expected to pay $7-8 for a hotdog.

Awesome Dog. What can I say other than unique and tasty. Great Midnight snack !! Don't miss the unique old school Pubs of Printers Alley.

Daddy's Dogs delivers exactly what you'd hope for from a late-night Nashville hot dog stand. The dogs are big, have a satisfying snap when you bite into them, and look good enough that you'll be tempted to take a picture before eating them. We both went with the New York Dog: mustard and sauerkraut. Simple. Classic. Delicious. And let's be honest, when it's pushing 2:00 AM, your dining options become a lot more limited. The fact that Daddy's Dogs is there serving hot food when much of the city has called it a night earns points all by itself. Now for the plot twist. By the time we got back to our hotel, both of us were dealing with stomachaches. Coincidence? Maybe. Bad luck? Possibly. The hot dogs tasted great going down, so I'm not ready to convict anyone based on one experience. Still, I can't completely ignore it either. So here's where I landed: Good food. Convenient location. Excellent late-night option. Questionable ending to the evening. Three stars. Because while the dogs were good, my stomach and I are still debating the final score.

We were looking for a quick lunch and actually found them on the back patio of the Ole Smoky Distillery/Yee-Haw Brewing Co. The Chicago Dog with a dill pickle and tomatoes and onions and mustard was packed with savory flavor in every bite. There are very few hot dog shops that understand that only mustard and fresh toppings are the way to go. The bread was also soft but crisped on the inside and very tasty. I stopped by with some friends on a Wednesday night around 7, and we were some of the first people here. The bar quickly filled up, but it never felt too crowded, and never took more than a few minutes to order at the bar. The drink selection is decent - they have a few drafts, some basic cocktails, and dozens of cans available. Again, everything is reasonably priced, especially for Nashville. Their food menu is bigger than you'd expect, and they're known for their hot dogs! Our group tried several different dogs ... my favorite was the Burnt Ends dog! Simply dressed with a buttery bun and a smoky finish, this is a delicious bar snack. There is a FREE parking lot outside, which is such a rarity in this part of town that it's worth highlighting. I got hungry as the night went on and opted for the veggie banh mih dog. I was a bit disappointed in my choice. The veggie dog felt a bit bland and while the flavors of the sriracha mayo and pickled radish were nice, the hot dog didn't wow me unfortunately. However, they have many fun hot dog flavors on their menu that I'd be willing to go back and try!
