When a place calls itself "The Best Meat on the Street," you've got two choices: Walk away. Or order a hot dog and find out. At nearly 2:00 in the morning, my wife and I chose Option B. Daddy's Dogs delivers exactly what you'd hope for from a late-night Nashville hot dog stand. The dogs are big, have a satisfying snap when you bite into them, and look good enough that you'll be tempted to take a picture before eating them. We both went with the New York Dog: mustard and sauerkraut. Simple. Classic. Delicious. And let's be honest, when it's pushing 2:00 AM, your dining options become a lot more limited. The fact that Daddy's Dogs is there serving hot food when much of the city has called it a night earns points all by itself. Now for the plot twist. By the time we got back to our hotel, both of us were dealing with stomachaches. Coincidence? Maybe. Bad luck? Possibly. The hot dogs tasted great going down, so I'm not ready to convict anyone based on one experience. Still, I can't completely ignore it either. So here's where I landed: Good food. Convenient location. Excellent late-night option. Questionable ending to the evening. Three stars. Because while the dogs were good, my stomach and I are still debating the final score.
Conveniently located on Printers Alley, this little shop is for a perfect for a late night after bars drunchies! They have a variety of hot dog based on different cities like Seattle, Georgia, and Chicago. There's only one person working so the wait can be a little bit, but it's worth it. The hot dog was juicy and they toast the bread. Seattle dog was interesting with a spread of cream cheese! The Georgia one had peaches which was also another first on a hot dog for me and I loved the sweet/salty compliments! Daddy's Dogs was exactly what we wanted for the end of the night!
Ordered 50 assorted hot dogs through ezCater the day before the event. Everyone loved them!! The toppings were delicious and loved how everyone was able to create their own. The packaging was great :)
Nothing like a hot dog place in an alley in Nashville. It smelled amazing might because we came out of Bourbon Street Blues in historic Printers Alley and got a late night snack to help offset early morning hangovers. We ordered the big daddy because it was unique and it did not disappoint. I've never had a hot dog with cream cheese but you are missing out. Two people can share this but who am I kidding, I could have smashed the full thing.

My partner and I use offline to help us branch out of our usual spots. This month we selected Daddy's Dogs, which we decided to do for lunch. The topping options are unique! Fun to explore hotdog toppings. I was stuff after my one hotdog and split side of tater tots. Sitting outside can be difficult with weather and bugs but appreciated the overall environment.
Veggie dogs!!! YUMMAY! We stopped by the location at The Factory with Vegan friends and meat eaters. Something for everyone! They have veggie dogs and they will take any of dogs on the menu and take those ingredients but put a veggie dog in it. They take longer to cook so be patient it is worth it! My mom got the regular dog Chicago Style, my bro got the veggie dog, Chicago Style and I got the Lone Wolf, veggie dog. All were amazing! Get your dog on and go to Daddy Dogs!
We got hot dogs from the Daddy's Dogs inside Marathon Music Works (not the downtown location). It's a great place to go when going to that venue for a concert. The service was so quick and easy. Both of our hot dogs were piled with toppings and really good! We got the Music City Dog and the Big Daddy Dog.
JUST WOW...I have no words on how amazing this hot dog was. I ditched my friends to try this hidden gem. I indulged in the Carolina dog, which was topped with sweet coleslaw, bacon, bbq sauce and a secret sauce! It was to die for...soo perfect that I convinced my friends and husband to order one for themselves. They ended up ordering a total of 3 of the same hotdog because that's how delicious it was. I love how they make the hotdogs extremely fast. I ordered and within 2 minutes, it was sitting in my hands. The staff was friendly and attentive. Honestly this was the best hot dog I have ever had in my entire existence. I'm from Miami so I have tried many different style of hot dogs but this by far has been my favorite. I wish there was a location in Florida. You have to try this spot if you are ever in Nashville! It is a MUST!
Great spot to stop after a night out. I got the Chicago dog, my friends got the plain hot dog and both were great. Would come here again, the servers were very quick and kind. It is in a fun alley way with lights and bars. They made the hotdogs in less than 5 minute and they were delicious.
These hotdogs were a lifesaving snack after a night out in Nashville. They were delicious and the prices were unbearable.
We were hungry after a concert and hanging out downtown and a bartender recommended coming here. I love printers alley, so it was an easy sell and easy to find. The line was long, but moved fast. We both got the dog with everything on it. It was so big I couldn't really eat it without dissecting out. A wish there was less bread, but over all great late night snacks!!

Perfect late night food after drinking! Printer's Alley is a whole vibe in itself and this spot hits for sure. Kept it classic with mustard and relish. The locally made buns are great. Can definitely see myself here again on a future visit. read more
Dog was cold, no customers, pop up truck in the middle of the moonshine distillery Literally an overpriced ($10 for poor quality and portions), cold dog, unmelted cheese, forgettable toppings and a huge bun that kills the bun-to-dog ratio and falls apart immediately. This is a place for drunk Chad's and Stacey's to eat at 3am with their brand new boots and feel like a local. Would not return, do not recommend. And yes I literally walked to my car on the other side (that I paid $12 to park for) and took these photo so no I didn't let it get cold, it came cold, hence the cheese. Ambiance is cool for everything else but this is just a small shack and canopy. Service was alright, dude seemed cool enough. read more

I got a chance to eat here with a friend when Daddy's Dogs hosted a food truck at a music concert at Centennial Park! We got the Big Daddy and New York Dog. TLDR: Get the Big Daddy Dog, New York one is just ok. They have a vegan option for all of the hot dogs. Big Daddy: We got Big Daddy Dog loaded with all the goods (jalapeños, cream cheese, bacon, pickles, and secret sauce). Let me tell you that they were so generous in the amount of each topping that went on this hot dog. The flavors meshed together nicely and this was a lot more filling that I expected. Will definitely be eating this one again. The bun was cooked just right, not soggy but not overly toasted either. This was one of the best hot dogs and I'm craving another one of these already. I give this dog a 5/5. New York: We got a vegan version of this one with the kraut and spicy mustard toppings. There was way too much kraut loaded on this dog in my opinion. It was overpowering and I had to scrape half of it off my hot dog. After I did so, I liked the combination of the spicy mustard and the tangy-ness of the kraut. The vegan dog tasted very similar to an actual dog and I could barely tell the difference (this is when you know it's done right). I do wish the vegan dog had been a little bigger and the same size as the meat one. It got a bit buried in the bread. I do appreciate them having another pan to cook the vegan dog on their grill so it wouldn't touch the meat. I probably would try another vegan one but wouldn't get the New York one again. Averaging out the awesome Big Daddy and the meh New York one for a total of 4/5 stars for Daddy's Dogs! read more

Late night noshing both Friday and Saturday nights during our music-listening adventures in Nashville. Honestly, some of the better food we ate while in Nashville. Make sure you stop by. We tried two or three different kinds of dogs and they all were good. Great service and super fast! read more

High quality sausage on grilled buns with top notch ingredients make this place one of the ultimate food stops in the city! The shaded outdoor patio is optimal on a warm day. read more

Daddy's Dogs is a Nashville staple! Along with a few brick and mortar stores, they have stands all around town and a window in Printers Alley. This is always a great pick me up food item went out on Broadway all day. The Printers Alley location is only a few steps away from Broadway. If you're looking for a fast and easy, snack or meal, this is a great place to go! read more
We just happened to stumble upon this place after a night of drinking (early march) and it was a pleasant surprise! I was in Nashville with my friends to celebrate them getting married soon and we were bar hopping. Towards the end of the night, everyone was getting ready for bed but I was hungry and looking for a food place and Daddy's Dogs was super close so i stopped by. I ordered the Lone Wolf which is a Daddy Dog topped with ketchup, mustard, and relish and it really hit the spot. I liked that they had so many different types of combinations available on their menu and they also had vegan dogs so my one friend was able to enjoy a hot dog as well. It may have been the drinks talking but i thought this hot dog was amazing! definitely a great late night meal after a night of drinking. read more
This hot dog will change your life. Everything is delectable. My friend doesn't eat meat and she had to have one. She said it was one of the best decisions she has ever made. I researched where to go when I was in Nashville. I really wanted to go to this place. I especially wanted a tshirt. But no dice. But, after the predators game we went to, we stopped in Printers Alley. Thank god. Please go here and let your mouth experience it. You will love it. 10/10 read more

Located in printer's alley Daddys Dog is a little out of the way and may not offer the ideal setting for a meal. But, well worth the effort to find it. The big daddy hot dog I had was very flavorful. It had a spicy cream cheese mayo that was excellent. The service was friendly and helpful. I'm definitely making another trip to this place next time I'm in Nashville read more

The big daddy dog... OMG!!! This hot dog changed my life after a night on Broadway it's so much fun. I truly enjoyed it so much and way better than getting one from overpriced stands. I truly can say this is a must try in Nashville during your night out. read more

We have lived in Nashville for over a year, and Daddy's Dogs is a staple at all events and always slaps. This time we got a Mac Daddy, Chili Dog, and a Carolina Dog plus some loaded tots. Plus $5 beers from jackalope brewing! Always a good choice. The Mac Daddy is my favorite with Mac n cheese and the secret sauce! I always add that pickle for extra crunch. The chili dog is a great classic! The Carolina has coleslaw, which is an interesting choice in my opinion, but my fiancé loves it! The buns are fluffy and toasted, and the hot dog is so juicy. The tots were delicious and massive! Highly suggest sharing those. If you are visiting Nashville, there is no escaping Daddy. Just give in and try them you won't regret it. read more

Not gonna lie after a night out downtown drinking and dancing you can work up a real appetite and Daddy's Dogs is my #1 choice of a late night meal. This location is a food stand in printer's alley. The hot dogs are pretty loaded up with toppings and they have some good flavor combinations. My favorite is the Music City which is bacon, onion, cheddar cheese and barbecue sauce. It is on the indulgent side but if you're going to eat at 2 am then I say just go all in. I've also gotten the New York which is sauerkraut and spicy mustard--a classic. The hot dogs themselves are tasty and the toppings make them even better. The employees are friendly and the wait is never too long. It is also convenient if you are downtown. Only street pickup. Went there Friday evening around 10:20pm. Waited 10min not bad. It is all about hot dogs. Hit a Chicago style one - $8.00. For what I got on quality and amount a very very fair price . I paid more for much less. Overall would go again. Only bad place, you have no place to eat it or at least cut your hotdog. I would have given a 4star if the bun wasn't so cold and felt stale. The hot dog itself was very good, I think they boil it in beer cause it tasted like a little like that. Made it really good. I did a NY Dog which was kraut and spicy mustard, but I also added the chili on top. Very good except again for the bun. I also felt like the bun was just to much bread. Bread to Dog ratio seemed off. read more
Gotta love having a good old hotdog stand after a late night of going out. Venue - Well its just a hot dog stand, seems clean and professional. Food - Great tasting hot dogs with bomb toppings and always has that great fresh flavorful taste. Prices - A bit high but all worth it after a long day and night of hanging out on Broadway. Service - People here are nice and calm and pretty quick at getting food ready. Overall great place. Worth hitting up and will definitely be back on the next trip. read more
Came across these hot dogs at about 12:30 am after New Year's Eve. So glad we found them!! They really hit the spot. Got a Seattle dog and it was delicious! The people working were friendly and very accommodating! They added ketchup and little sriracha to my hot dog. The bun was also tasty. Slightly pricey at ~$9 but they were very filling. read more
