Rude! They had us wait for over an hour and a half. After we called and asked for an update, the representative cancelled. She yelled and hung up the phone. She said, "We are too busy. I will do you a favor and cancel." It happened over the weekend, so I could not speak to management. Each time I called to tell her we never cancelled, she hung up. So we waited over an hour and a half just to not be serviced. Not to mention, this happened after 2 AM, so we waited over a hour and a half just to be left finding a new tow service. If I can give 0 stars, I would. They towed my car from my brother's residence. He parked in a space I watch several tenants park at when there is no other spaces around to park in. I live hours away, my brother drives the car more these days for work. He took an uber to get to this company which turned out to be an hour away from his place. He presented his license including a picture of mine. He showed them the insurance for the car (which he was a driver on) tags were up to date but he accidentally threw away the paper the sticker came on (he's not from here and didn't know any better, my fault on that end for not telling him). He said they requested a letter and proof of ownership while I was on the phone with my brother (which from my knowledge can be verified by a simple call to the police department) I sent a picture of my title, called this place 3 times(obviously they never answered). Left a voicemail with my name, number, vehicle information, and explained my relationship with my brother. I emailed them the letter (signed, not handwritten due to me living hours away) and still I had to drive across Nashville to show my title just for a girl to tell me "you could've sent a picture of this to him and it would've been okay". You must imagine the way I felt when this IS WHAT IVE DONE AND MORE. Whomever the guy is that dealt with my brother when he was there should be evaluated for the way he treats customers and lying on policies that this company even has. Giving this company a VERY VERY bad reputation. Yes you are towing but sometimes understand peoples situation and accept facts. They never looked at the email until I got there. Never checked the voicemail. He told my brother it was over $300 to get my car back then when I arrive it's not that cost at all. I can not say enough good things about Dad's Towing. Last night I foolishly ran gas, yes e does many out. They were there in minutes. Both my knees are shot so imagine me trying to get up in the wrecker. The driver was great and helped me in and out of the truck. It would have made a great YouTube. My 79 year old father was in an accident this past weekend on I-65. Dad's towing was called (unauthorized by my father as he was in an ambulance). We stopped there after I picked my father up from the hospital, approximately 5 HOURS later. His total was $362.59. The "light duty hook was $225. A "fuel charge" of $22.50 was added. To stay on the lot for approximately 5 hours, was an additional $55. The "plastic wrap" they put on his broken window that flew off halfway home was an additional $55. His total was $362.59. Apparently they only have one truck working at a time. They said they were called to an accident so they were delayed. After three hours of waiting a different company pulled up to see if we needed help. We hadn't even heard from their driver at that time. read more

Do not use this company under any circumstance I was in an accident. Ambulance took me to the hospital and police had this establishment pick up my car. It was there exactly 68 hours and they charged me $600 to get it out. There were multiple bogus fees. I just put a new battery in last week. They left the key in my ignition with it turned to acc, ran the battery dead then wanted $35 to jump it off among a plethora of other issues. The people were rude and not helpful at all. Calling the BBB and trying to find out who regulates the towing companies that have contracts with metro. I highly recommend using Bailey's or even James Auto, or anyone else. They basically charged me about $10/hr for my car to be there under 3 days while I was in the hospital. read more

They have made their big hauler available to pull the cars from the river and a flatbed to transport the cars to the yard. They have given 110% effort with enthusiasm. Going close to 2 months now and my wife has visited Dad's twice only to get continued run around. Dad's been reviewing footage. Right. Now remember, Dad's lot's debris punctured two tires (Over $200 to replace) then we paid Dad additionally to tow the vehicle, that was damaged, in his lot, to our home ($70.00). Then Dad's tow truck driver inadvertently drove into some loose gravel, got stuck, and destroyed a portion of our driveway. (Estimate Attached $ 1,500.00) Dad is not much help. Towing service is practically an extortion ring. After asking around I have found out they have a reputation for damaging cars in order to tow them and demand money for someone to get them back. Recently they have been going around to apartment complexes and searching for vehicles with expired tags, to threaten the owners with towing. Of course they are likely doing this because they know people have fallen on hard times during the pandemic and can afford very little, a GREAT opportunity for them to make a quick buck. Im sure they have many legal loopholes they know how to exploit, so if they get you you will likely have no choice but to pay up or never see your vehicle again. read more

My experience with Dad's Towing was TERRIBLE. I was given a wait time of 90min before 1pm, called back at 2:30 pm and asked if they couldn't get to me by 3pm to please call, by 3:50 pm I called them back and was told maybe another 45 min!!!!! I'm a nurse and lost entire day of sleep, and will have to pay for car service to and from work with my car STILL undrivable. I found them to lack even common courtesy much less professionalism. It takes seconds to couple of min to call a customer and be honest about their ability to provide a service. I essentially lost my day as the business I was being towed to closed at 6pm and I had to be at work by 7pm. I even told the dispatcher my situation in respect to time and my need to go to work. So, in my experience, if you need a reputable tow service I WOULD NOT use DADs TOWING. They didn't even offer an apology!!!!!!! read more

After a nightmarish break-down of one of our vehicles in Nashville and subsequent strandedness, we were in dire need to find a towing company to get us back to Atlanta. Every other company we contacted either didn't have availability, couldn't tow our large truck, or quoted us exorbitantly. Thankfully one of the companies who couldn't accommodate our oversized vehicle referred us to Dad's. Upon calling, I spoke with a pleasant female who stated that not only were they able to tow our truck and that she'd get someone to us in an hour, but also that the fee would be well less than the other companies had quoted us. I actually had to call back to confirm because we thought we'd miss some hidden charges that would come up later. She assured us that there were none. After a little over an hour had passed, we wondered what the tower's eta was, but before I could call, they called us....with not-so pleasant news. We were told that the woman who originally quoted us calculated incorrectly, so instead of the tow to Atlanta being 3$/mile, it would be 5$/mile, in addition to a higher hook-up fee AND we'd have to wait an additional hour for the tower to arrive. It was nearing darkness and we still had 4 hours to drive back to Atlanta, so we agreed to have to pick us up, despite their error (which was not accompanied by even one apology). When the tower finally arrived, we learned that we could have the vehicle stored at their facility for a nominal fee, instead of paying the crazy amount to have them tow it to Atlanta. We decided to do that and then have another company ship the vehicle to us from Dad's towing facility. The tower had us take a picture of a towing slip, rather than give us a copy of it, so that we'd have the address of where to retrieve the truck. We were very thankful to end our stranded status and happy to get back on the road to return home. However, the next problem didn't arise until the next morning when I had arranged for a transporter to pick-up the vehicle from Dad's. Everything was fine until the transporter arrived to the address that the tower from the previous night had us take a picture of to know where the truck would be. Well, that was actually the address of Dad's corporate office, NOT where they keep the vehicles. So, the transporter, after having already traveled to one address, had to travel to a second address for the pick-up. That put him a half hour behind schedule. Not cool! This leads to the reason why I have been forced to provide only 3 stars: having been unapologetically misquoted and provided with the incorrect information of where the vehicle was held. I am not counting against them for having to wait another hour because the tower actually arrived sooner than that and we had gone off to do a little shopping instead of waiting, so by the time we completed our transaction, the tower called to inform us that he had arrived and was working on attaching the truck. The staff members were overall nice and got us off of the highway within a reasonable amount of time. I would recommend Dad's but it seems like the staff is in need of a bit of informational training. read more

It's a miracle that neither I nor the other semi hit the guy; had we gotten there 2 seconds later, it would have been a pileup because the tow truck driver didn't bother to either look for traffic or ride the should another half mile or so to be out of the blind curve. read more

A guy calls me back maybe 4 minutes later saying he's in the truck and that he will be 15 minutes away. Showed up right at 15 minutes, hooked my car up, we drove to a nearby gas station to finish the paperwork and off he went. No complaints here! Good service. The driver damaged the custom wheels with the straps he used to secure the car. There are deep scrapes in several places. I called to report the damage. BERRY states i was filing a false report. Terrible Human Beings! Two dear friends of mine lost their son a few weeks ago. He was 22 years old and died of a heart valve defect. This company towed his car after he was taken to the hospital before he passed away. After the funeral was over and the dust settled, my friends went to retrieve his vehicle, only to be told they could not have it, because they did not have power of attorney. They are holding this vehicle and allowing the charges to mount by the day. Heartless, soulless way to do business. Use at your own peril. read more
