Absolutely loved my first appointment with Dae! She is very detailed and made sure I was satisfied in every step of the way. We did color swatch and made sure I liked what I was choosing. She was very attentive and exceeded any expectations I had. My nails are more than what I could have asked, they came out perfect!! If you are looking for quality this is your girl to go to!

Dae is AMAZING. Remember way back when, when you would go to a salon and they would listen to what you wanted and give it to you? Well this is that kind of experience. There is no rush and push to get you in and out because there is a whole bunch of folks waiting with no appointment. I have another place that I used to go to and when there was no one waiting I got amazing nails. But if I got the style I wanted they were too long, and if they were the length I wanted they had no shape. Dae gave me the length and the shape I wanted with a beautiful set of thin nails. I was a little afraid of how thin they are because I am so hard on my nails (yes, I know they aren't supposed to be tools, but in a pinch they really are), but they have really held up. I am attaching a pic of my nails today, it has been 2 weeks now since I got my set and seriously you cannot tell unless you look close.

Ms. Dae is great at what she does!! I had my acrylic nails for a month, I only took them off because I had to (otherwise, they would've lasted months). Today I got gel polish over my natural nails and I love it. The designs are completely her original work in both photos, she's amazing at freestyling and that's perfect for someone as indecisive as me. She's professional and makes sure that you like what you're getting every step of the way. The studio is lovely, it has a TV that you can watch for entertainment if you're not much of a talker. I freaking love this women . She is 100% the best !!! I went to her because my nails kept breaking and wouldn't grow , she suggested I do a gel manicure and my nails have NEVER been sooo long !!! Professional, yet friendly! I hadn't had my nails done in many years, because either the salons were filthy or the technician/owners were not attentive and I felt like a number. No Dae, she is a warm and friendly person who knows her art and wants you to be a relaxed and happy client, from beginning to end. She wants to know your ideal lool (or fantasy look, whatever makes you feel beautiful), designs (she appreciates photos/Pinterest, etc) and maybe even fears of prior bad experiences, this way, you both are on the same page and end up with happy results! Her shop is located inside the "Salon Belleza" hair studio, and I'm sure you will find her a warm and welcoming soul. My nails are paper thin with ridges, and I was convinced that I couldn't find someone who understands my concerns and the wish to have beautiful strong growing nails, she took good care of me and now, while my natural nails are growing out, they are "crowned" with a beautiful design using strong materials. I'm so happy with the results and will continue to use her services. OMG! Where has Dae been all my life! LOL! My nails looked fabulous and LASTED FOR 4 WEEKS LIKE NEW!!! I received so many compliments how nice my nails looked. This is absolutely the best nail shop in San Pedro. I took my friend Michelle here after debating if she wanted to try a new place. Dae not only did an amazing job but she also added some touch that Michelle loves. Dae also gave us some recommendations to save us money while allowing Michelle's nails to be healthy so she no longer needs acrylics. We have been to many nail shops and this is for sure our new place. If you haven't been here you must go once to see for yourself how great it is. read more

This review is to reflect something that happened in the past, not today. Since the disappointing event took place, I have decided not to visit again in case the shop again double books and I'm asked to reschedule. Hopefully my experience is an exception, not the rule. However, I will not be removing the review, as it accurately reflects my personal experience.

I used to live in Santa Clarita and my nail lady charged me $40 for acrylic refill. They also take a long time to do your pedicure and manicure. First time I went I ask for a two designs on my pedicure on my two toenails. Priscilla erased her design three times and kept doing the design until she got it right. Too pricey and take too long. My nails did last a long time but not worth the price and time away from my toddler.

I have been a loyal customer of this salon for years, which is why this experience was so…read moredisappointing. I arrived around 4:20-4:30 p.m. for a simple gel polish change. Before sitting down, I asked if there was enough time since the salon closed at 5:00 p.m. I was told yes and was seated. Had they told me they didn't have enough time, I would have gladly come back another day. I asked the technician to repair a few chipped nails and, since it had been a while, to redo all of the gel so they would all look uniform. From the beginning, it was obvious she was rushing. She skipped steps in the gel application, the polish was streaky, and it was flooding onto my cuticles and the sides of my fingers. I politely pointed out the areas that needed to be cleaned up, but she became increasingly frustrated instead of addressing them. When I mentioned that the polish around my cuticles was uneven, she began scraping away cured gel rather than fixing it properly, leaving the manicure looking even worse. At that point, I asked her to stop. What happened next was completely unacceptable. Another employee walked over, stood over me in front of another customer and several employees, and said, "You come back tomorrow. Jenny can do your nails. You're too picky." I was stunned. Asking for a clean, properly applied gel manicure is not being "too picky." I wasn't asking for perfection--I was asking for the service I was paying for to be done correctly. If the technician was unable to complete the service because it was close to closing time, that should have been communicated before I was ever seated. Instead, I was publicly criticized and made to feel like I was the problem for speaking up. After years of being a loyal customer, that was incredibly disrespectful and humiliating. I went to the front desk and explained what had happened. The gentleman working there apologized and agreed that the employee should not have spoken to me that way. While I appreciated his professionalism, the damage had already been done. This review is not about a bad manicure. Mistakes happen, and I would have happily come back the next day if someone had simply said, "We're short on time, and we'd like to make sure your nails are done properly." I won't be returning to this location, due to the fact that I made an appointment when the shop opened one day, and was told to go in at 1 in the afternoon. When I arrived (right on time), I was told they were short staffed and couldn't accommodate me. Someone could have at least called me to let me know the person for my appt couldn't make it. Went in for nothing and had to scramble to find another place to get my nails done before an event. Not cool at all. To the owner who responded to the review- Thanks for the response, but it is indeed the location next to Best Buy I'm referring to. This review is to reflect something that happened in the past, not today. Since the disappointing event took place, I have decided not to visit again in case the shop again double books and I'm asked to reschedule. Hopefully my experience is an exception, not the rule. However, I will not be removing the review, as it accurately reflects my personal experience.

I used to live in Santa Clarita and my nail lady charged me $40 for acrylic refill. They also take a long time to do your pedicure and manicure. First time I went I ask for a two designs on my pedicure on my two toenails. Priscilla erased her design three times and kept doing the design until she got it right. Too pricey and take too long. My nails did last a long time but not worth the price and time away from my toddler.

After tip, it was close to $40, and unfortunately I can get the same quality elsewhere for at least $15 less. I also found the threading process more painful than usual because she works very slowly. Normally, after a while, the area kind of goes numb for me, but this time I could feel every hair being removed the entire time, especially on the upper lip. Overall, the results looked great and the service was professional, but the combination of the higher prices and the slower, more painful threading means I'm not returning. I refuse to pay that much again.

I've definitely had my fair share of nail salon, each one almost the same as the other. And I've never loved my nails as much as I do as when I see Dae. Other nail salons are good yet dismissive at the same time. You know what I mean? They seat you, go back to what they're doing then they get to you when they get to you. Not with Dae, I've definitely paid way more for nails I don't really like so the price to me is perfect. It's premium quality where someone only pays attention to you, educates you on your nails (mine had holes in them from other nail shops who drilled craters in my nails, without me even being able to notice) and gives you what you really want, with or without saying so. Dae is so amazing with her work and the way she is with clients. She makes sure that she knows what you as a client wants before you even start which is amazing. And she's so easy to talk to about what you'd want. Don't be afraid to tell her! She rather do what you want and what you're paying for! Dae is fun and passionate about nails. She has a huge selection of nail polish. The salon is quiet, clean and the tools are sterile. She doesn't rush or overbook, it's all about you.
